Sooo... not good to roam in open field? Perhaps its not what I'm looking for. Still - it was fun. And (after playing mainly with Twins and Isida) thats first thing that feels like real tank. :D

Yesterday I tried Thunder (M0) first time. D/L ~0.3.... Any suggestions? Map? Hull? Style?

Nope Dmg increased for M0 and M1 (a little bit). But lower range for max dmg, and (especially!!) slower projectiles. Pretty hard to hit moving target now.

"You Isida-players" ? Doesn't that also apply to any other turret?

1 is true for sure, announced in vlog 2 - looks like its also true for flame, not so sure about freeze.

Just noticed that M0 and M1 Twins damage have been increased (almost 20% at M0). Maybe I should give it another try...

Yes, I've noticed that too. On the other hand there were surprisingly low amount of Firebirds yesterday. Putting that all together AT MY RANK (and IMHO) Isida M1 is still good enough.

I would swear I could kill Viking M1 with full charge. Was I wrong?

My pride still hurts a bit ... But he got me thinking about forgetting Twins, and getting Thunder when I (eventually...) reach WO4 Well, there is still time to make that decision. ... a lot of time... :mellow:

How do you know its gonna get buffed? ...just coming frim a fight where one Thunder kicked my bottom pretty bad... :-(

I suspect your modem is turned on all the time? What happends when you reset modem with your mother's computer turned on? Can you detect your network, and have problem with connecting to it, or you CAN'T see your network in wifi list? Have you tryed to disable security in your network, so you dont need password to connect? Of course only for testing.

You're saying Isida is getting worse at higher ranks (comparing to other turrets)? I would say that at my rank M1 Isida is good, maybe even very good. Fun to play, never out of job, strong enough to combat anyone. Certainly better than M0 stuff I have. ;)

Hi guys, I need an advice. I'm trying to get Twins, Ricochet and Isida (I know I'm optimistic). Which hulls go better with those - Hornet+Viking, or Hunter+Titan?

With experience you would probably beat me on a small map with even with railgun/mammoth. But smoky/whatever wouldnt be most intimidating. Yes, but there is still max damage at 40m (?), so getting any closer have no point, and that damage isnt that high to begin with.

So overall, which hull you find best for twins? If you had to chose one - which would it be? And knockback - on M0 its almost non-existing. I mean I see almost no effect on enemy's aim when I fire at them. You say M1+ is better in that aspect? I know that impact on M0 is around 70, and on M1 ~100, but hulls also get heavier reducing the effect.

Reading topic My Garage without buying crystals I noticed that anyone can count on being able to keep 2 turrets, and 1 (maybe 2) hulls. What would be most universal combo? I mean which two turrets and one (or two) hulls would you propose that could fit in most game modes, on most maps? I have a feeling that Rico is a safe bet here...

Yes HighwindsGDN - what do you mean? I dont realy see Smoky as close range, and if I would like to go close range Smoky would be probably last of my choice. Firebird, Isida, Freeze, Rico (!!!), and Twins - all of them look to me as better choice.

Currently still Twins M0 - and cannot compete with Rico M0. How do you use Twins? Defence, offence? With what hull? I'm finding it harder and harder to use with each day. Damn, my Death/Kill ratio is better with Rail then with Twins... and I suck with Rail...

I'm not disagreeing with that, but please tell me in what circumstances Smoky has advantage over Rico?

And faster projectile = easier to hit moving target.. Though I only know how it is on lower ranks...

Thank you for explanation. A pity really. I like the "feel" of that turret. I wondered if that could be my first M1 weapon. But now its probably not a good time... maybe after next rebalance. ;)

Smoky's dps is lower then other medium-range turrets. No AoE like in Thunder. Before rebalance it had range as a bonus. What does it have now, that other turrets dont? BTW - I am not arguing that its range should be increased. I'm trying to find reason for Smoky to exist.

Can anyone explain to me in simple, soldiers words, what is role of Smoky after rebalance? Its certainly not close combat - there are specialists (anything starting with F + Isida) that are way better at that distance. Its not long range - as at long range it has power of pea shooter. Its not medium range - any Twin, Rico and Thunder will waste poor SOB. Yes, it coul win against melee turrets at medium distance (keeping out of range) but there are better turrets to do that. How do you employ Smoky in combat?
