Personally this argument would make a lot more sense if we had tested the new MM first. A lot of points on both sides were problems from the first test like 6 months ago. I'm pretty sure they won't be there anymore. They have had a long time to improve the system, I'm sure it won't be anything like the first test.

Then the push to win will be lost. All battles will basically become TDM. Why waste drugs trying to capture a flag/point when camping and losing will give you the same amount? A modest win bonus wouldn't be enough.

I think what he's trying to say is that even though players go on about 2012-2014 being the best years in Tanki, when it came to releasing updates it's the same as it is now. Some complain about it, some like the update and others threaten to leave the game if it's released. Which is true and nothing has really changed.
