If this *gulps* had to be implanted, this would make much more sense. I've never liked Gold drop zones being in teams bases anyway.

So you're saying once Shaft has fully changed in sniping mode it begins to empty again, effectively dealing less and less damage the longer you wait? If so thats basically how Shaft was when it was first introduced, but instead of reducing damage it just took you out of sniping mode completely. Though is is an interesting idea, it will make Shafts more common.

I don't see how. Those players playing the battle often have low health from attacking or supplies enabled. They often have to SD to have a chance/to reset the supply cooldowns. But those multing Dictator's in the teams base, well, they are happy. Full health, no supply cooldowns, lets go right out and take that Gold with little competition. IMO this reduction is only helping those that mult.

I personally don't like it. It's not like Golds were that common anyway. Maybe 1 per battle if you are lucky at Legend, normally 1 every 2-3 rounds. So I feel this reduction in time is completely unnecessary, they had a good balance before, now it isn't. We are basically just going back to 2014 when they changed the way Golds dropped. Next it will take 60 seconds to drop, then it will drop instantly, then it will be changed back to the way it was...

I disagree with that, the range of pellets is too large and that often leads to using more shots then you should have to use to finish off an enemy. The alterations the solve that just make it unbearable then. Vulcan is good, but it will need some MU's and will chew through you DD's.
