To all of those that are saying the shaft is op: Have you even tried shaft? From a shafters perspective i find hammers to be very op. They constantly knock off my aim. Every turret has its advantages and disadvantages. Shafts is high damage per shot. Most people in the past who used shaft shot a viking and left it with 600 health at m4 or 1/5 of its health. Then the medium hull would just use health and you would have to recharge. Although, I used a arcade shot first and then a fully charged sniping shot afterwards so they didn't use health. I think the shafts damage was increased because I remember trying a viking in test server and when I saw a shaft at full health I knew they couldn't one shot me so I just took the hit, pressed health and annihilated the shaft. Buffing the sniping damage makes the shaft shot more relevant so that people won't just laugh when they see a shaft laser pointing at them, like they probably did before the buff to sniping damage.

It takes 4 seconds for shaft to reach full charge. -
I tried the firebird with the compact tank alteration on test server and it was really good! The afterburn on it was insane! I would say there are 4 seconds of firing time in a single clip. A 2 or 3 second burst would be enough to kill a light hull. Almost all of a whole clip kills a medium hull and a full clip plus a little bit of afterburn kills a heavy hull. Keep in mind these are hulls without protection from firebird. Another plus about equipping the alteration is that generally the clip size isn't a problem; the reload speed of the firebird means that it will practically never run short of ammo. I have a m4 mammoth with 40% protection against fire and this thing is still lethal against me; it usually takes out about 5/8 of my health before I manage to kill it if they are equipping medium hull, 7/8 of it if they have a heavy hull.

The shaft turning speed when zoomed in is not that much slower than it was previously. In the original tanki post, they said the decreased the traverse speed of shaft when zoomed in to make it more manageable. Before they reduced it, it was hard to snapshot because the shaft turned too fast and you would sometimes miss your shots. The ability to one shot a medium hull without DD is a huge buff to shaft, I am getting more kills now than before the update. -

The shaft was definitely buffed in this update, not nerfed. -
A railgun even with the high caliber alteration cannot one shot a m3 viking unless on DD. Shaft is the only turret that can do that without a DD.

I had the same problem. I couldn't log in for like a week. Whenever I tried to log in, I got a message saying there was a error in connecting to the server. Just a week ago, I tried logging in again an it magically worked. I have no idea why.

I feel like the sniper mode for shaft got buffed, and arcade mode was basically left alone. -

In the post it says reload speed between shots increased for hammer, meaning that reload time in between shots is decreased. It is just the reload time of the clip that is increased. -

It seems like the most important thing in the new formula is the crystal/exp ratio, the second is total experience earned, and the fourth is kd.

I bought ant kit before the rebalance and I have been playing for like 4 years. I would never give away a account that was marshal no matter how bad the equipment was.

Isida isn't horrible at dm. My alt is the same rank as you with a 38/50 m3 isida, so thats probably why.

On my alt, RAILGUN3256, he has isida 38/50 and it is quite good and doesn't feel underpowered at all, even in dm.
