whattt...? thats not necessarily true, because in those games, you need to make it from one place to another as fast as you can, and in many situations in tanki, there is no reason to be fast... flag guarder, offense, defense, bait, sniper, infiltrator, mine layer, etc. are all legitimate playing styles that heavy hulls can do efficiently... If that doesnt keep you entertained, idk what will... whats wrong with being a good player? and unless your calling me a bad player, I suggest you take that back. And yeah, its easy to hit a heavy hull, but thats the point, it can get hit a lot more times than your wasp without dying my friend.

I have also been playing tanki for 2 years... only a year on the forums, but yeah I too have noticed how the forums have died down a little bit. omg Tell me about it, I make a joke about how Obama and Llama rhyme and i get banned for a week :/

A gentle reminder that a new generation of tankers is taking over... Its nice to reflect on the past, but keeping old people around will only make tanki go backwards. Maybe the forum will be more spontaneous, or maybe you just simply arnt looking in the right places. I mean, just going topic too topic isnt going to help you find this fun stuff thing... Perhaps you could create drama like me for entertainment XD and have obnoxiously strong and biased opinions. That will cure your boredom quickly XDD

I use titan m2 and firebirds at my modification can still kill me with there full reload time.... So yeah, firebird is OP as heck...

I don't normally do a lot of writing/typing stuff, or make topics in general, but I feel like there is some stuff to be said about this subject... Lets just start off with some things too keep in mind... I am a proud user and owner of a Titan m2. I am very biased when it comes too heavy hulls vs light hulls, but hopefully none of that will show up here... Their is a ton of pressure for people to be using light hulls (specifically hornet) from the very start of a tankers career. When a new tanker joins a battle on there own for the first time and is past the second or third rank, they'll obviously probably find a lot of there fellow team mates or even enemies using the hull Hornet. Being new to the game, they're more susceptible to doing whatever everyone else is using. So of course, they purchase hornet, since after all, that is what everyone else is using. Some of these new tankers find that they love this hull, and use it for the rest of there tanki lives. Good for them. They got it easy. But what about those who tried out hornet and just simply can't use the thing. Their unaware of this, because they feel like this is there best, and this hull is what is best for them. Thats what there friends and fellow team mates want them to use anyway. When clearly they should be using something different. It only gets worse from here though. Now, that they have moved into the m1 stage, XP/BP battles are becoming a thing. Which only encourages our little friend here to keep using his hornet. He enters the XP battle, and is the bottom of his team. His team mates yell at him, telling him he should practice more, gain more skill. At this point, the player would have most likely quite the game. And well, tanki just lost another potentially amazing player. This process happens though, again, again, and again. Soon, we've lost hundreds of players due too this favoritism. You might think that this really doesn't happen all that often. Maybe it doesn't, but it almost happened too me. The only reason im even typing this right now, is because of a dear friend of mine (who sadly no longer plays) told me that trying too meet the expectations of these people was not worth it. Why do I focus so much on the beginning of a tankers career? Because this is where almost all of there important decisions are made. Most people have figured out what there favorite hull and turret are by this rank. The pressure doesn't end there though, just look at the all the events that tanki has ever had. From my 2 years of playing this game, the only tournament that ever got close to being Favorited by heavy hulls was Hardstyle. Even then, its still not something that only heavy hulls can participate in. The funny thing is that tanki keeps trying to encourage tankers to use heavy hulls, usually by upgrading the stats. But what I feel will really get people to use heavy hulls, is if there was a tournament that only heavy hulls could participate in. People say that takes away from the sport of the game, making it less exciting. I disagree completely. I would love to watch a bunch of mammoths and isidas on a large map fight each other, but apparently that's not the common opinion. Which whatever, I respect that opinion. I just feel like we shouldn't base our rules for creating tournaments on that idea. So maybe your interested in heavy hulls, but not sure which to get. Unfortunately, tanki only has 2 heavy hulls, and yet has like 3 - 4 short, medium, and long ranged turrets, of each kind, but that's none of my business. Lets start with Titan, since that is obviously the most superior of all hulls :) m0 - use this with twins when you first start tanki, and your pretty much set to go. Turning your turret would be helpful in this case, which most new players cant do, but hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. m1 - used with m1 smoky, you have a nice beginning set to easily conquer the battle field. However, later on you may want to give mammoth a try, because you have to wait a rather long time before m2 titan is available. Or if you have the crystals, you can attempt to Micro Upgrade your titan m1 fully before reaching the rank required to get m2. This is pretty nice, since now you can get m2 titan at a discount price. m2 - YASSSS this is when titan is in its prime. It only requires 1 MU to have more armor than an m2 mammoth, plus it has a nice turning speed, and overall a nice speed in general. You can use this with any turret, and is especially fun to use it with Twins, Smoky, and my personal favorite, Isida. m3 - I havn't had the chance to use Titan m3 yet, but here is a video of someone demonstrating how lethal titan and isida is, a combination most people think wouldn't work... Don't get me wrong though, Mammoth is an amazing hull as well... m0 - You probably wont be using this for long, since m1 comes pretty quickly. None the less I would use it with a medium/long range turret, since most battles at this rank are medium/large. m1 - This is probably one of the nicest hull to have m1. Since you can get it at such a low rank and at such a low price, its almost impossible not to be able to afford. With its amazing protection, you'll be hard to kill when others are still using m0 turrets. m2 - If you could wait another 2 ranks for Titan m2, I definitely would. Mammoth m2 has like 5hp more than titan m2, plus titan is also a lot faster. Also, the wait for mammoth m3 is extremely long, unless you want to MU. m3 - Over all Mammoth m3 is the best choice for when it comes to having the most armor. Titan m3 comes close, but yet Mammoth has more by ruffly 10%. So yeah, this was my first article thingy i've ever really written. I know its not the best, but I hope I got my point clear.
