I'm not really a big fan of laptops mainly because they tend to heat up alot more.. I have a MacBook to basically do work on, but for gaming, a PC is more suitable. I was playing Warframe with my cousin, both of us had all settings turned to ultra - my CPU didn't cross 55 despite being slightly overclocked whereas his was touching 70.

If you bought a PC just for editing, then this GPU wasn't a good choice! The 900 series and 700 series are gaming GPU's, NVIDIA's "Quadro" series makes GPU's for editing and rendering... You should've looked into those.

Indeed it is, but you could've gone for a better GPU. The 970 is mostly used with i5's.

So here it is, my 500$ PC build. The picture has - 19 inch Samsung LCD (Will be upgrading soon) - CPU at the bottom right - My MacBook Pro 2011 next to my screen, which I use for editing documents and stuff. - My PS3 controller which I use for some games - My printer (Currently being used as a mobile phone stand) Feel free to tell me any way in which I could improvise.

Exactly, my PC can run any game at 1080p at ultra settings, I made it myself in 500$... Looked around for parts on sale. It took me months to save up and even literally earn some of the money, despite being young - i made it with what i earned, and so did the others who posted here :)

405 PING is quite bad... That must be what is causing all the lag... 10 FPS is also pretty bad, try turning off any graphics that you have on.. You can do that by opening settings and untick these boxes http://prntscr.com/8be0fh

I recently built my own PC, and it's pretty much the best you can get for 500$ (My budget) - Intel i5 3470 @ 3.5 GHZ - 8 GB DDR3 RAM - MSI GTX 750 Ti Twin Frozr I can run GTA 5 or Battlefield 4 on Ultra settings at 80 FPS + :D
