What you have to do is to predict the winner of each match along with the best player (Man of the Match, or simply MoM), and in return get crystals if you land the correct guesses. But, every juicy offer has some terms and conditions and so does our contest. Read on! How does it work? Each match of the coming Champions Trophy has a corresponding Google Form. The said Google Form will close 30 minutes before the actual match commences to ensure fair play. Your predictions for a particular match can be sent to us via this Google Form but you must do that before the aforementioned deadline! That leaves you with two options - a.) fill up all the prediction forms at once or b.) fill them up one by one, every match day. The second option will carry a greater chance of better results, considering that you’ll be able to actually know who will play and who will not (for the MoM predictions) and accordingly base your predictions on a team’s form, set up, pitch conditions and much more. You are required to submit predictions for at least 8 group stage matches. If you do not predict eight times in the group stage, your predictions will not be considered (so, this is a necessary condition to be eligible for prizes). Any requests for the acceptance of entries will not be entertained after the deadlines (30 minutes before each match). You will need a Google account to participate. You can fill up the predictions only once for each match. Google Forms for semifinal matches will be closed till the end of the group stage. Similarly, the Google Form for the final match will be closed till the end of the semifinals. And, the prizes? Now, this works a bit differently. We are conducting this giveaway in a complex way - you are not guaranteed your crystals even if you guess the winners right on multiple occasions. Let’s proceed to the actual system. Group Stage Each correct prediction will grant you a score of 1500 points. But, that’s not all. Each wrong prediction will remove 750 points from your score. There are a total of 12 group stage matches. Semifinals Each correct prediction gives you 4000 points, while a wrong prediction will remove 2000 points from your score. There are two semifinals, so you can potentially rake in 8000 points from this round itself. The Final The ultimate game of the tournament will carry a worth of 9000 points, but the risk remains - a sum of 4500 points will be deducted from your score if your guess doesn’t line up well with the actual result. Finally, we have the second part of the giveaway, that is, the prediction of the Man of the Match (long for MoM) for each game that gets played. Each correct MoM you guess will get you a 1000 points. If you get it wrong here though, nothing to lose, we will not remove any score for wrong guesses for the MoM.
