  1. Well written viking, however, it felt almost too sarcastic. In the future, I would suggest adding a little bit more wit instead of pure roast, similar to the now dead Unemployed Columns, which I thought were very well written and creative
  2. I would like to mention that cello is better than piano by a long shot, and at some point I would like to learn the guitar.
  3. As you mentioned, or @Night-Sisters mentioned, we all have different tastes.
  4. I can't say I watched the battle, too much work on my plate, nor did I get the paint, oops. A well written article though.
  5. Dictator does have some nice characteristics, however, when I heard it associated with a boot, it kinda fell flat. I think the best is, in my opinion, hornet, smoky, electra. Tell me that does not look good.

Yeah, no writing from me for a little. Unless I have a snow day.
  7. If they are a noob, then easy kill. If they are pro, then it is somewhat scary. They have a tendency to strafe and knock off shots.

Stupid tests cause delays in everything. Doing my best though.

    What do you fight for?

I fight for my sanity. It is a hard battle.

Having alot to live up to.

You implied it, and made pointless remarks about other cultures. A sign of immaturity that is not enjoyed in the forum.

Ignorance is bliss, is it not? The only reason the US is an international superpower is because of the World Wars. Before that, we were nothing. A fairly week nation, sure we had trade, but that was really it. Heard about 1812? Yeah, under JEFFERSON. But back to history lesson; we did not even want to get involved with the wars due to the Monroe Doctrine (btw, I am related to him). We only helped because we had fresh troops, but our military was much weaker. Sure we got better, but it was pitiful for a while. And don't bring up nuclear weapons, because the majority of that was from scientists fleeing from Europe, and our amazing Einstein? German. And kings are not lazy, they have the welfare of the ENTIRE EMPIRE under their command. A few wrong moves and you have a full staged coup on your hands. I would mention the French Revolution; but you probably have not heard about it. It did impact the US, if you were wondering. Your ignorance has now been proven, and your ideas are factually false. If you want to keep your head in the clouds, insisting your country (and mine) is infallible, take AP US history. And LEARN something. Your incompetence has lowered the average IQ of everyone here.

[Issue 50] A Guide to Red Alert

However, you are forgetting the fundamental difference. Trenches have always been more dangerous, especially in WWI. With constant bombardment and shelling, tight line formation charges, and the debilitating Trench Foot, trenches are much worse. I am saying that because nothing is worse than being bottlenecked in there. Ricos are evil...

    [Issue 50] Tanki Origins

Agreed, semyon was not added as a CM until a few years after tanki's creation, nor was he one of the original programmers. And to the 3vil hamster, well, I kinda feel bad for you. You seem to be the butt of many a joke recently.

Plagiarism and Its Effects Yes, I realize I am a month late, but that means very little in this case, as it is still an issue, despite the constant tries of others to stop it. I will be one the first to say that plagiarism is very bad. I actually, a few years ago, got in trouble for it at school, not realizing it. Plagiarism is a criminal offense, and while people won’t go to court over it here, it could happen, think on that for a second. Now that the legal consequences have been established, it is time to dig deeper into what is means for you and me in the forum. Plagiarism will never be acceptable, and the consequences of it will be felt. The main problem, recently, has been from TWG, or at least a few members. It all started with hero no.1, who, essentially copied the wiki, except with bad grammar and a lack of good formatting. After a few issues, he fortunately left. About a month later, we were introduced to the Experts guide, which was appalling. It was then followed by another, and another clone of a clone. And the interesting thing was, they were never funny, not even in the paper. It was a weird bad idea to begin with, even in the Newspaper. It was destined for failure. Then came Fen, I do not wish to summarize his post, but I had to agree. Alienation began. Nothing that was in place really stayed. And then what, the end of an era. TWG, whom had established itself as an actually good group, fell to pieces. People began backstabbing each other, jumping ship, and distancing themselves, including me. It killed the revitalization of forum off topic writing, a mini renaissance if you will, killed. I am not blaming anyone, I am simply stating the consequences of actions, and how they affect everyone. Was it inevitable that this happened, probably, but plagiarism accelerated the decline. So what is the real problem here? If it was already in decline, what is the point on harping on something that already happened? It is not the action that I find important, but the reaction. The action is inevitable, and so is a reaction. But it was the reaction that killed the movement. Creating Experts Guide, fine, updating it, no. Then arguing till everyone is sick of it is stupid. If you make a mistake, admit, but don’t apologize for it. You could say sorry, I killed you, and not mean it. Actually do something about it. Don’t argue till you are blue in the face. Take a step back, observe the scene, and actually look at yourself. In essence, the whole point is not to condemn anyone who has made these mistakes, but to give a view around it. A new point of view. This is not a death sentence, nor is it a promise, but a warning not to repeat the past. No one wants their reputation destroyed. Especially because alts. are a pain to make and bring up to the level of warrant officer 1. So in conclusion, I would say before doing something, be it writing an article or posting a comment on youtube, it will have consequences, either good or bad. Think about that when you do something if you have the chance to. Also know that certain things are only funny in small doses. So yes, this was kind of a morality and ethics article. However, a decided lack of thinking has been going on recently, and at some point, people will age. And think of how your actions will affect you in the future. So good luck, and think strait.
