Hi, due to my inability to be active during said times of games, I have to leave this club. However, if I am ever online, I would love to join.
-
Ant Man, Winter Soldier is a good one too.
-
lol, except you have 6 times as many posts as I do. Probs since you have been online for an extra year.
-
k, that might be a few years in the future.

Not really a good game with me having the only m2 combo and the other team having a lot of m0s.

Thanks bro, you officially fall into DTOM bros, which is a good thing ;)

1300 posts, I feel suddenly more powerful.

Thanks bro fixed, and thanks Thank you, I for some reason felt like freelancing this.

This is freelanced, this article is not really a part of the TWG series. I have been in the game for a little a year, and the forum for the past year. I have made some fantastic friends, read some fantastic articles, wrote some decent ones, and tried and failed four times to become a helper. I guess the time has come. And for all of you who are about to type your good byes, I am staying. This is a story of my Tanki journey, all of it true. Just keep in mind that none of you know me in real life, so you would never know. But without further ado, my story. Setting the Stage Ninth grade, high school. The school is brand new, I am the first class to complete all four years in it, yes it is that new. Knowing that, I am in tenth grade right now. Oops, nearly forgot; my name is Brendan in case you were wondering, it is a part of my nickname, but more on that later. The school gave each of its students a chromebook to use as a personal laptop in school. What they did not quite anticipate was the amount of game playing that would take place. There was a lot of it. About every student was suspect for this, each usually at least in the free period, Directed Study. Teachers started cracking down, many even saying chromebooks closed for the entire period. Unless there was a substitute, then it was is fair game. It was fairly early in the year that I was exposed to Tanki. I was talking to a “friend” saying that I found a new and cool tank game. He asked besides tanki, I asked what was tanki. He smiled and then logged on, opened up a battle, and played. I was thinking seemed cool, but I would continue with what I was playing. Tanki was all that was talked about, and all that was played. It did drain battery. Teh Introduction: As mentioned above, a substitute teacher meant free reign for all games, and Tanki was all that was played. A sub in Math class was the catalyst. The work to do was easy, we all finished in about 20 minutes. Everybody logged on to Tanki. I finally took the hint, and started up with a tanki, on my “main” account, @Brendantr1. I won the first sandal DM without trouble, and started my journey. I bought everything I could based on names, I did not understand the statistics like many other new players. I have a fond memory of one of my first battles. It was on Kungur, a DM. I had my pathetic wasp-twins roaming around without the x and z keys. One of my few earliest memories was “hiding” in the little nock in Kungur and putting a brick on the space bar, and called it sniping. My friend, and inspiration for my new nick, bluewaffles_bw (If you do not know what that means don’t ask) would just go next to me with his freeze and I would rage. After realizing that I needed save my crystals because I could not buy thunder or freeze, I started a “new” account. Teh bigtimerush_bry begins: As said, my name is Brendan, and my friend, his name is Bryan Woelfel, hence the bw. I liked the name, so I looked at my initials, which is BTR, and what was the first thing I thought of? bigtimerush_bry. A new ¨era¨ began, the btrb era. I played a lot each night and in school, thinking of nothing else. It was the entirety of my life and conversations. I was hooked, and still am, though not to the same extent. We had many battles between my friends and I. All of those have now quit. I stayed, there was something likeable about the game, something that was not replicated in any other MMO I have seen. Actual one on one action. Great gameplay and balance, it was a fantastic game. This account was meant to be a savings of crystals account, in which I could save for Thunder. I told myself not to fall in the same traps. I told myself not to buy Railgun. I bought railgun. It is now my prefered turret, and am in an XP/BP clan, Don´t Tread On Me. But that is getting ahead of myself. And so my quest began. I played constantly, sometimes getting caught playing without permission, and continued to rank. At some point I learned to turn my turret, I do not remember when though. Teh Starting of Teh Forum Age: My parents had an adult retreat one weekend, so I went over to a family friend towards the end of October. I was a Master Sergeant. While I was playing, I noticed a pop up, It said that Issue 28 was out, and there was a comparison by Kirby on Rail vs. Shaft. I had recently purchased shaft and loved it, I also had rail, so I figured I would take a look. I loved it. It was such as nice piece of writing, and it also opened up a community that I did not know about. The community whom I have begun to know and love. This will be the part about Tanki that I miss the most. Upon reading the article, I promptly switched to rail. I have used my shaft rarely since, it is still m0. Teh m1 Stage: The m1s really began to shape me as a player. I first bought m1 mammy which is rarely used, I honestly last longer with hornet than mammy, despite the health difference. I still was ignoring most sales, actually, I did not know that they existed. At the recent new years, I bought m1 firebird, and I like it, but liked my m0 rail more. I only used it if there were a lot of m1s. I later invested in m1 smoky, and used that till around fourth warrant, but by now, I had my eyes set on m1 rail. I was planning on buying m1 rail for the Easter sale, which did not happen. I then went and bought m1 rail full price. I will say that m1 rail is fantastic. Very few people have the adequate protection and there were a lot of m0 hornets and m1 wasps, needless to say, it was fun. However, I did not yet have a usable m1 hull, so I saved up for may day sales. However, I gave in and bought m1 wasp during a Noise game that had so many m1 rails, my d/l was barely above zero. Turned out it was a good idea, because later that week, I was hacked. I got it back without any loss, except for lost time. My first m1 combination was m1 BP, and BP still has a place in my heart, but it is more expensive. Teh Growing of Teh Forum Usage: I would look forward to the Newspaper coming out every month. I would read all the articles, but never really looked at the contests. I would look in off topic every now and then, sometimes what to buy which is better. This is still a topic I like. But I began to notice familiar names pop up, and I began to be more open in the forum. I hit 100 posts fairly recently, about 5 months ago. I hit 500 posts around 3 months ago, and 100 about a month. You could say that forum began to pick up Teh Catalyst: After a few months of forum roaming, I saw a continue the story contest. It was the first part of the story, and I could go anywhere. I made a weird, not funny cop drama. Obviously, it did not make it through, or even get an honorable mention. But what it did do was throw me head first into the world of Tanki writings. I later submitted that writing for the reporter position. It obviously failed. But it did allow me to start writing my first guide, in the overconfidence that I would be accepted. Many of you have read the final product, it was a guide on attacking. This continued through the summer before I lost my account to parents. I was able to recover it for unspecified reasons. Only one person besides me knows the story, and it was in game chat. You know who you are. Don’t say who you are. Teh TWG: After simply writing for contests, I saw a new topic in the forum, the TWG. It was started by my friend Darren4Turbo and at time, the leader. It was him, Penguin40, Supratikbora, Thunderousrailgunner and I. Five people. Actually, I submitted in an application of the guide to attacking, but I was none the less accepted. The first Issue was well accepted, and so was my guide. For the second one on Midfielding, I decided to go bigger. It was quite an undertaking, so much so I split it into two parts, the second part has been completed. I am working on the last part currently. We became a hot topic. We were and still going strong. However, with the introduction of the Polish Forum, our glorious (Polish) leader Darren decided to resign. For some reason, he asked me to take charge, and not the co creator Penguin40. I took it in stride though, and continued the group. Good experience though. It was here that I discovered my love for Tanki articles and writing, even though in school my grades do not show that though. And also why 75% of my helper applications have gone to writing helpers, two reporter ones and one wiki editor. At some point I will try again. Who knows, I might even get accepted. If there was one part that I had to pick as the most important moment in Tanki, I would say TWG and the friends I have made. Teh Clans: I never really was a clan person for a while. I had seen the banner, and the section for esports, but I ignored them. It all changed soon. I was playing in a Rio CTF, and I saw a tanker by the name of InfinityBubble13 ask for a duel. I said yes, we both played BP in sandbox. I won. He then invited me to join his clan, Revolution. I said sure, and joined the clan. I was infact made to be the full blown leader in battle. It was initially very active, but it started going downhill, and others started leaving. Infinity was almost never online, so I left the clan. It has recently been closed. I was then clanless for a few weeks. I ran into my friend and once clan mate stephencd, who ranked up like crazy. I dueled him, and got destroyed. Ironically, I had often destroyed him, but I stood no chance now. He said that he was in a new clan, Don’t Tread On Me, it was an XP/BP clan only. At that point, I did not have m2 XP. I said sure, and joined. Turns out that I was am the worst player in the clan. However, that is not saying much, as not only are many of the players FANTASTIC, but I have been having closer battles and duels, I still have a lot to learn. Those guys have been an active clan, and we have had some good times. If you are not in a clan, I would recommend joining one, there is a sense of community, you know how they play and that they are always good. Pranking them is also fun. Teh M2’s This has been more fun. I feel like I am good, and even against gismos, I can hold my own. I am able to play with most of my forum friends, and the feeling of knowing somebody is real. I am still in this section, about halfway through. Everything is both easier and harder. But it is a community and I love. Not really sure how to conclude this, except with a thank you to my friends. My friends in TWG and my clan, and also some others like Shad0w365. You guys are great, don’t leave anytime soon. My view on life is that everyone is but a small spec in a larger group, and your job is to make people look for you and notice. In a way, I feel successful here in the forum with that. I have friends, and I have people whom I can trust. This story is not done, and has not fully happened. This was a little longer than I anticipated, but none the less, have a good day and enjoy both game and forum.

I like the garage update, but I disagree with the paints. I would rather have my better paints towards the front, because I would more likely to use them instead of basic paints.

congrats on getting an XT

Mosquito by a long shot. It has m2 wasp at captain, which is crazy, and a top tier paint, also there is m2 rail, I really like that part too.

I have fond memories of early shaft days in which I could pwn anybody without the laser. The laser improved balance, but caused a loss of shaft popularity, tis sad.

Ok, thank you

I need at least a 50% to get m2 fire.

Linking accounts between MainStream Tanki and 3d Tank
Quarks replied to Quarks in Linking accounts between MainStream Tanki and 3d Tank Archive
In my never ending quest to play Tanki, I stumbled across 3dtank, the chinese version of Tanki. However, upon entering my username and password, it gives me a sign, which presumably means password incorrect, as it brings me back to the signin screen. If anyone knows how to get around this, that would be great. Thank you. -
Props to you for creating a clan though, that takes guts, which I do not have.
