To be FAIR, I had voted for her with my other account and for Gabri6 with this account, based on the same criteria you mention. Otherwise if I were voting on best looking female I'd have voted for (won't tell you who) or I'd have voted for two others who are closest to my age, or I'd have voted for yisu78 because she's Asian, or I'd have voted for...you get the idea. ;) EDIT: airforce and juju also were pretty creative
-
Despite the Asian thing, I did not vote for you yisu. Love the originality too but #4 and #5 had better videos than yours. Great job anyway!
-
I hope these girls/women realized that we want originality that doesn't have us focus on their bodies. Sheesh, only those still in puberty would vote those vids over the actually creative ones...! EDIT: Sorry, I said the above before watching the rest of the submissions. Now, if I were biased based on the females closest in age to me it would either be #8 or #12, but because I'm impartial I will instead vote for the better video by #5 ... Extra Edit: I rewatched some videos and noticed that #1 did a nice job creating Tanki earrings. The rest of the outfit needs a lot more work with the Tanki additions and the video itself could use a lot more creativity. Still, I wanted to console this gal on at least doing a great job on the earrings! --- and #7 was incredibly hard working and creative with what she made and how she made it!!! (still like #5's more)

For those who chose to benefit from the always automatic 50% Russian payments, but are not in/from Russia, I pity them. LOL

Changes to the payments section of the game (Updated on July 31)

Semyon was correct but it lasted only 24 hours. -
People call anybody a noob who does what they disagree with. So in essence, everyone is a noob at all stages. But my personal preferred usage of the word is limited to its original meaning: a beginner
-
I am not against the word noob. Maybe someone else said they are? But I am against the misuse of the word noob. I have seen it in the lower and higher ranks regarding sabotaging.
-
Edited to answer you, robbie.

How does anyone show a video on how to play without sabateuring? Oh, by showing normal common sense playing. Ummm, they already know how to do that. EDIT: by sabateuring, I mean like what Qfu10 and austen_pierce described

Kool pic! ^

They are not noobs. The blue team had a sabateur on your red team.
-
They are not noobs. They are sabateurs playing for the opposing team on your team.

In case you didn't realize it yet: - I do not work for Tanki - nor am I a volunteer for Tanki ...I simply am a fellow tanker but who (apparently) strongly has opposing views to the great majority of forum commenters. -
Changes to the payments section of the game (Updated on July 31)

I fully understand, although: - Tanki`s developers initially made mistakes so they later try to rectify them by nerfing the too powerful equipment and hardening the too weak ones...cuz originally they didn`t have it balanced (which was their fault) and so they try to rectify that afterwards - mind you, most games that I know of, keep the original mistakes and then try to make new versions without those mistakes (that could be what Tanki is doing with Unity) To be fair yet again, Tanki is in a tough situation I am seeing. 1- Either they allow there to be one or more unfair imbalances in the game (not all imbalances are unfair, or else criminals and infants should be allowed to do everything the sane mature innocent person can) but replace the whole game with a new one that doesn`t have those unfair imbalances 2- or they keep the current game and rebalance the game as they bring in new equipment options. ...neither will please everyone and I don`t envy Tanki for having to choose which of those for us. BTW: I did not ask for incentives for either buyers or non buyers. I was quoting someone else. Please reread. -
Changes to the payments section of the game (Updated on July 31)

//"The large majority of our players never pay anything to play our games," Zynga told CNET, and that those who do account for only a "small percentage." One of those players in the small percentage we'll call Katie S. She told CNET her daily FarmVille routine consists of waking up around 10 a.m. and proceeding to play the game until well past midnight, though her sessions can often go longer. "I've been known to stay up all night until at least 5 or 6 a.m. if a new feature is out, and I'm excited about it," she said. Since beginning to play the game last August, she's reached an unusually high level 111 in the game--40 levels beyond where the game offers incentives in the form of newly unlocked features. And she's spent about $2,000 on in-game currency expenses--roughly $100 a month. "I justify this as being my only source of entertainment, and I'm forgoing movies and dinners out, so it's OK," she told us.// - http://www.cnet.com/news/virtual-farm-games-absorb-real-money-real-lives/ And I've heard from others (in person) I know who have spent hundreds of dollars on that game. I never spent any real money on it and I got sick of it basically never ending and that I'd have to constantly sign in and check to see if my harvest of agriculture or shrubbery was ready, or else it would be all a waste by either of those getting rotten or bad. There are other online games I've been told that people spend typically over $100 - $ thousands! (I haven't, though if I keep this up for another year then I may get close to half of that...edited that because I now remembered), especially the ones that are free to start and do basic playing! CONCLUSION: - in short, there is a demographic here for Tanki to financially tap into for paying gamers to do better than nonpaying ones -

LOL @ my getting a -1 [or any minus] rating on this

That used be called a game nerd. And I've never even tried to play Everquest when I found out with roommates how addictive it was for them, not even including their spending so much money in addition to them playing it literally 24/7 to the point where they lost their jobs by constantly calling in sick so they could play instead, etc.

You are correct: In the peer-to-peer gaming model, lagging is what happens when the stream of data between one or more players gets slowed or interrupted, causing movement to stutter and make opponents appear to behave erratically. By using a lag switch, a player is able to disrupt upload from the client to the server, while their own client queues up the actions performed. The goal is to gain advantage over another player without reciprocation; opponents slow down or stop moving, allowing the lag switch user to easily outmaneuver them. From the opponent's perspective, the player using the device may appear to be teleporting, invisible or invincible, while the opponents suffer delayed animations and fast-forwarded game play, delivered in bursts.[3] Some gaming communities refer to this method as "tapping" which refers to the users "tapping" on and off their internet connection to create the lag. The term "lag switch" encompasses many methods of disrupting the network communication between a client and its server. One method is by attaching a physical device, called a hardware lag switch, to a standard Ethernet cable. By flipping the switch on and off, the physical connection between the client and the server is disrupted. The designers of Video game console hardware have started to introduce built-in protection against lag switches in the form of voltage detectors, which detect a change in voltage when the switch is flipped. Some manufacturers have taken counter measures to bypass or trick this detector.[4] This can also be achieved by simply unplugging the Ethernet cord going to the client, causing a disruption in the player's internet connection. Other methods, called a software or wireless lag switch, involve using a computer program. In this method, the cheater runs an application on a computer connected to the same network as the client. The application hogs the network bandwidth, disrupting the communication between the client and its server. However, one cannot do this for an unlimited amount of time. Usually, having no internet connection for 30 seconds will cause one's character / player to be kicked from the game due to inactivity / no internet connection. In the peer-to-peer gaming model, lagging refers to a player with a faster connection flooding an opponent(s) using a basic denial-of-service attack outside the game structure. By the way, I don't have lag or bad internet, even when playing the game, except when encountering hackers. When I'm not being hacked on Tanki, my download speed is 12.55 Mbps and my upload speed is 0.75 Mbps.

"Everyone"? Yeah, update it to include no bonuses. (I'm exaggerating now to make a point ;) ) -
I'd say less unbalanced.

All of your complaints that you listed I noticed but take a different view, with one possible exception. What did you mean about the crystals (or did you mean supplies bought with the crystals) expiring faster? I don't know what you mean and would love to know. Thanks.
