Important Changes in Daily Missions Rewards

`1) Actually, I am aware that Saboteurs previously existed but the sabotaging has skyrocketed after the Daily Missions started. 2) I was referring to fake lagging (which comes via hacking), not actual lagging.

Me neither. The worst wasn't even close to that bad.

I agree with your coloured line. I disagree with the first half of your second sentence. The previous and the revised Daily Missions reward tankers more than the daily gifts did. So we should instead have the gifts.

I am one of the best in the PRO battles that outlaw drugs. The thing is, most of the hackers and saboteurs don't have the money/crystals to join PRO battles, or else I'd be doing worse there than in the regular battles with drugs because they now have all those free drugs.

It's also possible to hack people to get high enough games so the hacked will get booted. I noticed that with other computer games. So using the ping boot option is unwise due to it being another hacker option. And the sabotaging only really showed up after the high rewards of the daily missions. And one can't actually point out who the hacker is (when the hacker is employing artificial lag, for instance) but only the team the hacker is trying to help, so your solution won't help.

Important Changes in Daily Missions Rewards

I've already answered that in a different post. Here's a rehash.. 1- What I have called Sabotaging but gamers I found out call "Boosting". What this info doesn't mention is that the same concept applies to "team" play (think, man). //Boosting A form of improving one's ranking in league tables, boosting is most common in 1 vs 1 fighting games such as Street Fighter IV and Tekken. Players will set up multiple accounts and play one against the other. The primary account will get an easy win due to no or little input from the second account. The major problem with this method is high cost since the boosting player requires at least two instances of the program usually through different PCs, IP addresses and copies of the game. Additionally, some games allow matches to be uploaded and viewed by others on replay channel. If the boosting player accidentally allows this, their boosting match can be seen by others. This also works in MMORPG games where you can set up multiple accounts and then conquer them. An example of this is Battledawn where you can set up another account conquer it to increase your score, power and taxation. Even without matches being seen, players who boost can usually be easily identified, since they will have an extremely high number of points in relation to the number of matches played. For example, the 'top-ranked' player in Super Street Fighter IV has ≈35,000 pp (player points); in comparison, Daigo Umehara, widely regarded as the best player in the world,[7] currently has ≈6,500 pp.// 2- Artificial Lagging is accomplished by hacking. //In the peer-to-peer gaming model, lagging is what happens when the stream of data between one or more players gets slowed or interrupted, causing movement to stutter and make opponents appear to behave erratically. By using a lag switch, a player is able to disrupt upload from the client to the server, while their own client queues up the actions performed. The goal is to gain advantage over another player without reciprocation; opponents slow down or stop moving, allowing the lag switch user to easily outmaneuver them. From the opponent's perspective, the player using the device may appear to be teleporting, invisible or invincible, while the opponents suffer delayed animations and fast-forwarded game play, delivered in bursts.[3] Some gaming communities refer to this method as "tapping" which refers to the users "tapping" on and off their internet connection to create the lag. The term "lag switch" encompasses many methods of disrupting the network communication between a client and its server. One method is by attaching a physical device, called a hardware lag switch, to a standard Ethernet cable. By flipping the switch on and off, the physical connection between the client and the server is disrupted. The designers of Video game console hardware have started to introduce built-in protection against lag switches in the form of voltage detectors, which detect a change in voltage when the switch is flipped. Some manufacturers have taken counter measures to bypass or trick this detector.[4] This can also be achieved by simply unplugging the Ethernet cord going to the client, causing a disruption in the player's internet connection. Other methods, called a software or wireless lag switch, involve using a computer program. In this method, the cheater runs an application on a computer connected to the same network as the client. The application hogs the network bandwidth, disrupting the communication between the client and its server. However, one cannot do this for an unlimited amount of time. Usually, having no internet connection for 30 seconds will cause one's character / player to be kicked from the game due to inactivity / no internet connection. In the peer-to-peer gaming model, lagging refers to a player with a faster connection flooding an opponent(s) using a basic denial-of-service attack outside the game structure.// ...I also found, after finding the above, that there are videos on HOW to do these things. PLUS the fact that I had Tanki users who cheat (though I didn't know it at the time) invite me to participate in their sabotaging and hacking on my behalf, even becoming Skype friends with them before I found out. Once I found out that they are cheaters and specifically those two kinds, I removed them from friendship in Skype and Tanki and blocked them.

  11. Not many people are buying crystals. Most people that buy them don't hack or sabotage. Most of the hackers and saboteurs get the crystals for free.

1- The use of drugs is the same as the use of drugging because using drugs is drugging, so it's the same topic. 2- I would still drug but not for the reasons you mentioned. I'd do it to counter the hacking and sabotaging. WHY IS NO ONE WHO HAS ATTACKED ME ON THE FORUMS GOING AFTER THE HACKERS & SABATEURS? I propose it's because they either are either of those or they are friends of either. I was Skype and Tanki friends with Tanki users for about a couple weeks and found out that they are both, so I blocked all of them from both. 3- No, Bitcoins or Monopoly money or other similar currency is most related to Tanki drugging. See #2 above.

//Too many pages to read :o ,but has anyone suggested an idea of only having a limited amount of supplies available per battle? In real life you would have limited space for supplies so why not here? They could give you enough room to only carry 5 of each supply. Once they are gone that's it, you don't get anymore until the next match. Of course these would come out of your garage. I've played lots of games that use this format and it makes sense. The total number of allowed supplies could be based off of the amount of time left in the match. Now if the wanted to add something real cool they could add a re-supply crate that falls like a gold box (very rarely) and would restock your in battle supplies.// - from Canadian_Eh - in real life we could sell our equipment - in real life there would be zero time limits - in real life the tanks can't parkour - in real life zero paints could withstand the shots of these turrets/guns - in real life the paints would only be some variation of camouflaged for battles - etcetera ...so, back to the best way to counter hackers and saboteurs, other than not allowing them to ever hack and/or sabotage, is to allow everyone who meets certain criteria to acquire supplies/drugs = in Conclusion: keep it as it currently is but make it more difficult for players to use non-dropped drugs who do not purchase them
  15. They did that because of the complaints from SMS payers. The SMS payers did not like that credit and debit card purchasers had a lower payment cost. So now both are the same.

Or clown pajamas. Either way, I should have chosen based on some research instead of the feminine approach. I thought I'd try their annoying approach cuz it seems to work with fantasy sports. LOL
  17. LOL (whether I fully agree, partially agree/disagree, or fully disagree) @ Lord Voldemort's response in that thread link of yours: //Posted 24 May 2015 - 19:07 As they said economies are different. Think of it this way, if you go into a shop, you may see some chocolate which you can buy for £1.00 then you go into a different shop and the exact same chocolate costs £1.20. Not all prices are the same, others have said it works but clearly for you it hasn't worked.// - Lord Voldemort
  18. Maybe all of us adults need it more than you not yet adults. :P (thanks for the humourous response)
  19. For one day and only one day, there was that 44% reduction, so I made a payment. But when someone complained about that reduction (definitely not me) not being available to SMS users as well, the reduction completely disappeared so that credit and debit card users would have to pay the same amount for the same amount of crystals as SMS'ers.
  20. You're welcome. And among adults, age is only a number. Peace...
  21. I changed the message to show who I was quoting. It's Kreeperskelly, so you understandably accidentally thought it was me. I edited it because somehow I accidentally did not have the quoting part showing when I posted a response to him. So when you responded to me you were actually responding to him but didn't know it. [i'm trying to help you save face here]
  22. 1- I already posted (numerous times) the answer. 2- I don't want to misunderstand you. Are you using a double negative? I was not spamming the topic but you may be. I have numerous times in this thread talked about prices of crystals in the Americas. And your last response was to my quoting Kreeperskelly but the quoting identification had disappeared on me when I posted.

This kind of hacking (and rarely also the typical kind), which you HAVE seen: //Artificial lag In the peer-to-peer gaming model, lagging is what happens when the stream of data between one or more players gets slowed or interrupted, causing movement to stutter and make opponents appear to behave erratically. By using a lag switch, a player is able to disrupt upload from the client to the server, while their own client queues up the actions performed. It can also be called "boosting", but was done in "team play" instead of 1 vs 1: //Boosting A form of improving one's ranking in league tables, boosting is most common in 1 vs 1 fighting games such as Street Fighter IV and Tekken. It's by what I said that this person I'm now quoting had responded to, that's how I was and am on topic. Since this person is intentionally lying, I'll block them right after entering this, so that he won't bait me to be off topic...

I'm not a troll. A troll is insincere. My intention was not to disturb others, nor was I baiting others. Whereas my most heated arguments in the forum have ended up being against those who aim to disturb and bait. http://computer.howstuffworks.com/troll.htm
