Yea you should get one. They can make your computer boot in seconds. Also placing slow loading programs in it helps it load more faster.

If you are only going to game you dont need the i7 you can choose the i5 4690k. But if you do alot of video editing, live streaming on twitch and such processor dependent work i7 is the way to go. Also 16 gb of ram is more than enough for now. MSI is a well known company, other good amd card manufacturers are XFX and Sapphire. The 390X is a beast of a graphics card and you can even play games at 4k with a single one. I think it is on par with the nvidia gtx 980 ti.

The r9 380 is more expensive but the best alternative would be msi gtx 960. I am working on intel nvia build right now edit: here http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KRptFT I included a semi modular power supply this time so the price is close to £500
