Interesting offshoot of Hardstyle. With some appropriate nerds/buffs, this format could very well contain some of the massacres that occur in Tanki daily. Edit: Why not allow any turrets and hulls? It would be interesting to pit all sorts of tank combos against infamous drugger-approved tank combos...Unless Tanki wishes to do nothing against these massacrists...

Hey guys; after some time, I've managed to catch a career total of :blink:7 Gold Boxes! :blink: :D. Nonetheless, I definitely missed dozens of other boxes before (I'm no O.U.F.A., after all). And here's a funny story about my 7th Gold Box: I wonder though; if I had Dictator and charged into that crowd, would I still end up on top of the tank pile?

@AUG Just in case you didn't do so yet (not saying you didn't), when did you purchase your crystals? Did you convert your time to Coordinated Universal Time? If you did all that...then your response was rightfully indignant I guess...what happened Tanki? Well quoteluv...perhaps u bought your crystals too early; unless you live in Iceland, Great Britain, Portugal, an eastern African nation, etc., then you certainly bought too early (May I suggest time conversions between your time zone and Coordinated Universal Time?). Thanks for your advice Flappy ^_^. Sure, Tundra is great against rival Smokies and any XP or BP players. However, I find myself dying more often from other deadly mid-range turrets like Thunder, Ricochet, and Twins :/ (wish I could get Clay or Africa); thus I would feel somewhat more comfortable with Roger paint (I could get Cedar or Python, but Cedar provides mediocre protection from Isida and Smoky while Python provides Shaft protection that I don't necessarily want). In the end, I won't be needing the Siberian Kit soon...right? EDIT: Sigh...after some heavy second guessing, I decided that the kit is worth its 63,400 crystals; all I have to ignore the Hunter M1 unless I feel in the mood for some Hunter (which is to say almost never) and enjoy Tundra, Freeze M2, and some 56,700 crystals worth of savings. If I want Freeze, I'll go Siberian; if not, then...I'll buy Isida or wait for the next Isida kit.

Hello guys. Seeing that my latest question in husto's "What to buy? Which is better?" topic remains unanswered by anyone other than myself, I decided to make this topic... Moving on, I want to buy a new turret, perhaps Freeze or Isida; aside from having Smoky M1 and Firebird M1, I also have Hornet M1 and Viking M1. Moreover, while I play team battles (and an occasional deathmatch) in many different maps like Kolhoz and Island, I mostly play maps well suited for medium-ranged gameplay, including the following: Kungur Noise Rio Serpuhov Brest Aleksandrof Esplanade Wolfenstein Edinburgh I thought about buying the Siberian Kit, but eventually declined; Tundra's a nice paint, but not the one I need for medium-ranged gameplay, and as great as Hunter is for team battles, I considered it redundant to have a faster version of Viking with less health (I MU'd my Viking up to 180+ HP). So now, which turret would suit me better for the long walk into higher ranks: Freeze or Isida? Or perhaps I need to get a different turret?

I just saw the Siberian Kit and am tempted to buy it; since I have two weapons, Firebird M1 and Smoky M1, that will eventually be outmatched in higher ranks until Major and Colonel respectively, I have considered adding Freeze to my arsenal. Currently I have 130,000+ crystals, a Viking m1 and Hornet M1 (will upgrade once I reach 2nd Lt.) and I frequently play in the following maps (besides an occasional battle in, say, Kolhoz or Iran): Kungur Noise Rio Serpuhov Brest Aleksandrof Esplanade In contrast, I am not interested in playing in these maps: Lost Temple Stadium Magistral Ping-Pong Valley Zone Which of the following is the best deal for my case: Buying the Siberian Kit Buying just Freeze and its M1 and M2 upgrades Go for something new and buy Isida and its M1 and M2 upgrades I am welcome to hear any other suggestions on this matter.

Just curious guys; I've been thinking about Smoky's critical hit and thought: should Tanki add more effects to Smoky's critical hit? One idea I've pondered is this: perhaps a Smoky's critical hit can ignore an opponent's Double Armor and anti-Smoky paint protection, and as a drawback, it cannot be boosted with a Double Damage power up. Example: Then again, maybe this idea is too OP... :( Still, Smoky is a deadly weapon in the right hands. :D

Hello again. As a Firebird and Smoky player, I am worried about the road into higher ranks; until the ranks of Major and Lt. Colonel, for instance, many M2 modifications will be available for weapons that aren't Twins, Shaft, Firebird, or Smoky. I really love playing with Firebird and Smoky, and I don't feel the need to add another turret; yet, until I get M2's for my two turrets, I'll be annihilated by all the other players with M2 equipment, consequently discouraging me from persevering further in Tanki. I suppose that MU's would have to do, but I am on a tight budget and am not willing to spend my crystals on fully micro upgrading my M1 stuff to M2 (besides, it's best to fully micro upgrade M3's). Should I take up another turret? If so, what turret should I get? If not, what else is there that I can do? Thanks. P.S. I have slight familiarity (far from PRO) using Railgun, Thunder, and Vulcan. I also use Hornet and Viking (both M1), and I have about 50,000 crystals right now.

Great article! If only more players digested these kinds of articles, especially spoiled teammates. I just recently came from CTF where one such spoiled brat refused to cover me as I was about to cap; consequently, enemy tankers returned their flag. I was later infuriated when the spoiled player blatantly explained that I took "his" flag. Even more appalling, when I asked him if he would block his own teammate's basketball shot, he shamelessly said "yes". I gave up and said, "Fine, I won't waste your time. Teamwork, not "Me"work, wins games. You'll see later on whether I'm right or wrong" (or something like that); when he responded an immature "go to hell", I simply said, "k :)". Granted, the TO customer support is flawed in certain ways (obviously they are not omnipotent), and they overlooked some critical details in your case; but in the end, it is hard for others to prove that you yourself got hacked. Perhaps the hacker was superbly clever in fooling the TO anti-cheating team?...I don't know....I'm NOT saying is that you were at any fault in this incident; what I will say is that when the criminal leaves the crime scene nearly spotless and nearly evidence-free, there's no physical way you can track that criminal. Even then, how will a different I.P. address prove the hacker's involvement? One player's I.P. addresses can change over time, especially if that player moves elsewhere. Clearly, a change in I.P. address does not prove much. UNLESS the hacker used YOUR I.P. address to hack your computer, then.... :blink:

Additionally, I am not a heavy spender who wastes crystals on drugs, micro-upgrades, or miscellaneous equipment that I am not interested in. Moreover, I have a budget centered mostly on Firebird, Smoky, Hornet, and Viking instead of EVERY gun and hull available. But I digress... Well, here are some I especially love to play in (from my entire Tanki career): Esplanade Subway Aleksandrof Berlin Bobruisk Brest Kungur Silence Serpuhov Gravity Desert etc.

Hmm....I am not sure. Really depends on your battle style. As a personal tip, though, Carbon is awfully overpriced for significant smoky protection It is definitely good against smoky fights, but the other protections are barely noticeable UNLESS you use a heavy hull. Besides, there are better paints unlocked at later ranks, and smoky is not as prominent as, say, Ricochets and Thunders...In my opinion, unless you are a devoted Firebird player who abhors Smoky (and 2 other guns), I recommend not buying it

I currently have two hulls that are M0: Hornet and Viking. Which hull should I upgrade first for my rank? P.S. I have about 23,600 crystals as of now.
