Solution to lack of health: don't take fire. Unstability isn't really a big deal, and there's the added advantage of having the turret on the back of the hull.

In what way is it more difficult to use shaft than, for instance, Rail? You do all of the same things, just 1,000 times more often. Think about it, if you used shaft from when it's first available to WO3 you're not skilled with other turrets. Skill requires more practice than using something for five minutes. Also consider driving, the axiom of using shaft is that you cannot shoot and drive at the same time. Your maneuvering abilities will suffer significantly. And if you're mostly using arcades shots you should rethink your turret choice. I knew someone who did this in a Kolhoz CTF, just ran around with wasp in arcade mode. He actually acquired a decent ammount of points, but think about how much more effective he could have been with Smokey, Thunder, or Rail. .

Many of my friends have gone with Smokey M1 Warrant0-Warrant4 Thunder M1/M2 Warrant4-Colonel. After that it really depends on which you want for Your M3. Not a huge difference in stats between Smokey M2 and Thunder M3 and they unlock a rank apart. Of course getting thunder allows you to start Micro-upgrading immediately.

I think he means that those turrets don't have to lead, which is true. Rico does because the plasma takes time to hit its target.

Hornet is probably a better investment. But whichever sale comes first. I am not sure about Valentines day, but I've heard alot of speculation that it will be on paints. You never know though. I'd just prepare for as many possibilities as possible. Good luck.

Both of them will work well until you get a better one. Smokey M1 won't last until M2 becomes available. Rail, Thunder, Rico, And all the short range turrets work well with Hornet. So you have broad options. Experiment as to which you like best.

It depends on what hulls you use. If you're happy wth a good M1 Turret/Hull combo I'd stick with that and get a decent paint. At your rank shafts are everywhere, so Dirty may be a good choice. It is excellant with M1 wasp. It defends from a full M1 shaft shot if you have a few micros on your wasp and also helps against getting one-shotted by M1 rails. If you aren't concerned with shaft or are using a heavier hull I'd get something along the lines of Corrosion, Tundra, Desert, or Cedar. These all offer protections agaist common guns and will last for a long time. They can give you an advantage when most of your foes are using weaker paints. Swash and Alien are also common, though I never really liked their protections. Be sure to consider which turrets and hulls you're going to use also. Cedar works great with thunder, but it may not be the best choice if you're not facing them often, as it puts almost all its protection in one area. PS, be sure to buy on a sale, as paints aren't particularly urgent.

Dictator M0 is both slower and weaker than Viking M0. It only wins in turning speed and weight.

On Highland there's a spot between the building and the hill. if you're in the centre of the map (On the heal box) with the red flag to your right you'll see it in front of you.

I believe Russia has five or six different time zones. Although most live in the most westerly two.

It's never economically a good idea to buy drugs, unless there's a huge sale and you're high rank. I personally save mine and use them occasionally in close matches. I try not to be "That Guy" who hits two or three every time he spawns and uses HK every time. They tend to make matches far less enjoyable. Regulating the use of drugs and using a few from your daily each match will give you an advantage though. It adds up. Another thing to remember is that as you rank they become more and more prevalent, so be sure to save a few. Also often helpful for GB.

Thanks for the advice. Never thought of this, although crystal cards have never been a big issue for me.

I'm pretty sure few games have ever done that before. Many start pay to play but few change to be that way.

Hornet works, but I prefer wasp.

I think we need to wait for people to become skilled with this weopon before dissing it. I mean, if they introduced rail for the first time today, people would still be creating stratagies and learning how to overcome the disadvantages. I look forward to when we see a few new players who have used vulcan considerably since they started and will be able to use it very effectively.

@Buggati It's either multiple people or someone with no life. Don't envy them. If they spent the time they play on tanki actually WORKING they'd have plenty of money to spend on the game. It makes no sense to me. And if it's just for the recognition... I doubt anyone views 1000-volt as some kind of hero, he's actually reviled by many players. But, hey, to each his own. :tank:

I honestly can't understand how new players can play without turret control. It's like trying to type without thumbs.
-
I seriously doubt Valentines day will be a big sale. Maybe just one category. Or low %.

When I was a low rank I ran up to a dic/rail and got within its no damage zone. I decided I would never use it. It's actually quite a nice hull. The turning speed makes for good handling.

I think that's a big reason why TO is implementing mouse control.

On test server, yes, in game, no. I don't have much of an issue driving it. Although the speed takes some getting used to. Hornet is actually much more difficult, because of the drift. I primarily drive light hulls so I've had lots of practice.

Second time anyway.

Even if you don't get a high score you'll probably be doing more for your team. Like the Vamp that sits in the hole on poly and allows your team to hold the point for much longer.

I can't decide whether to call you sexist or start laughing.
