Rail doesn't regularly one shot the same modification of hornet at any rank. Not a detriment.

I'd roll with either Hornet or Wasp, You have plenty of time to decide which you prefer. As for paints, I used lead up until WO5 when I bought a powerful paint. Being able to survive any one shot is a huge advantage. As for forester, I've never understood why it's so popular. Unless you're using wasp and are at risk of being one-shotted by rail I'd get something more useful.

I want a sale on both. B) :tank:

Thanks. Mostly what I try to do, can definitely give you an edge, and still very inexpensive.

The zoo called, they want their chimp back.

Maybe you should try Thunder/Hornet-Dictator. I love these combos at M1, they will last until captain or so.

I fully microed damage during a sale. Horrible mistake, I'll only recover half of the 40K I spent on it. I would suggest nothing, if you want you can upgrade the first few steps, but I don't find that necessary. Tundra is rare, and light hulls are common. You can two-shot basically everyone one way or the other.

They are kinda slow though, depends on whether they actually get to the drop fast enough.
-
Save for M3 thunder, then put a few micros into it.
-
All the short range turrets work that way except for isida. Rico and rail may also be an option.

I bought all my M1's at full price, I don't regret it. Not a buyer.

There's a four point difference at M4. 72-68

bad the paint did not like ... Faces and poor tiger protection should have been hammer Tuxedo and thunder and all MU 50% with poor nano paint protection and face paintings hammer against bad guns. Very loose translation for those who don't know spanish.

You're going to need alot of mines if you use them in every above situation. I would strongly discourage buying mines, even at a discount. They only have the potential to kill one tank. Other drugs can give you an edge in defeating many more. Unless you have a large stockpile I'd save them for defense in close games. Othewise, good guide, should help newbs use thunder more effectively.

Buy it the same way as in TO-NS. The bar below is the shop.

It's all about versatility, Light hulls can work in any map with varying degrees of power. They also work with every turret. If I could choose only one hull to M4 it would be either Hornet or Wasp. Adaptabilty is also present with medium hulls, and you CAN use mammy on a large map, it's just easier and more convienent to roll with just one hull, easpecially for non-buyers. As to being one shotted, try dirty with wasp or Corrosion with hornet. That problem disappears until M2's become popular.

I like what you said about damage increasing with firing duration, not so sure about everything else.

Because freeze doesn't commit to straight matches. It circles.

@Cdiddy In response the part about how two paints can have similiar resistances: It's because certain protections work well together. For instance: 40% Fire 40% Shaft 40% Twins protects you from short, mid, and long ranges. However, there isn't enough versatility in each range to be worthwhile. If I am facing short ranged turrets I'd want a paint like this: 30% Fire 30% Freeze 30% isida 20% hammer. Of course, paints can't start that way, but they CAN start like this 10% Fire 10% Freeze 5% Isida. Certain protections work together to create the near perfect paint for the situation you're facing. Also, they can't just raise the protection of a few paints without changing most of the others, bumping the fire protection on Prodigi would make it overpowered, doing so would mean that corrections must happen elsewhere or the change must be reversed. I think you should give a little more thought to your paint idea and post it in a topic. See what kind of response you recieve, and maybe you can refine the idea before presenting it to the developers. Good luck ;) -Langlas

Isida is one of the most essential turrets and just one can swing the tide of a match. For whatever reason they're often overlooked. Isida's recieve no glory.

Do you want to stick with close range turrets? Or are you interested in going long? One option is to get thunder (the joint latest unlocking M1) and use that until Fire M2 comes out. Another is to get freeze or isida M2 and use them until Fire becomes available. Using M1 wasp as a platform, maybe with the first few micros, will give you more crystal freedom with turrets since you won't have to worry about the 70K or 90K to get hornet M2. M1 Hunter is very overpowered when it first becomes available and can carry you well into the M2 stage, It works well with Thunder, Twins, Shaft, Rico, and Smokey, and will work with short range weopons if you use it right. It has more protection that M1 Viking.

Was it really necessary to qoute the whole article?

Very nice. Was somewhat confused at first, didn't understand where all the cry was coming from. Then realized you're a buyer.
