And Portugal just wins with luck. They could have lost against Hungary long time ago, and I'm pretty sure Wales will crush them.

[Problem] "You Have Reached Your Quota of Positive Votes for the Day"
Darren4Turbo replied to BatmanX9 in Archive
The maximum quota of likes is there to stop people from spamming likes all over the Forum. There are 50 likes available for you to use every single day. I only like things that I fell I should support all the way, not troll comments that oppose updates etc. Quote by : "Well, I don't know about you, but for me likes are a rather meaningful response and I only "like" something when I really agree with it or find it outstanding in some way. Besides, it's always better to leave a written response instead of just a like. I never ran out of daily likes since the limit was doubled, so I'm not sure how you end up seeing so much good content daily that you manage to run out of likes." -
I was the last one off the bus. I lived 10 km further out of town than anybody else at school. I walked the 200m to home slowly, dead on my feet as usual. I knocked on the door. Mother opened the door, and I saw the sorrow flooding from her eyes. She hugged me at the end. I asked her why she was crying. She turned and looked towards my sister’s room. It took nothing more than a second for me to realize that something bad has happened to my sister. Bracing myself for what I would see, I opened the door. The destruction was like a piece of art sent from Satan. Shelves were smashed over the floor and it was as if a tornado had passed through. I saw her lying on the ground with blood pooled around her body. I stumbled out of the room, slamming the door before letting my body collapse against it in shock. “What happened to her?” I gasped. “Someone wearing a mask entered the house and told me to give him cash or he’d leave my daughter dead.” My mother was shaking and her words were broken. I was surprised that she could even stand. She took a deep breath and then continued. “I refused, and that was my mistake. He killed Emily and then he ran away.” In silence, I looked at the room for a moment. What was there to say? I had no words to describe how I was feeling. Only screams, tears, actions. All I wanted now was to find that bandit and slit his throat. Anger coursed through me and forced my actions. I asked my mother where the bandit had gone. She told me that he went towards a small house a few kilometres away from here. I got out a map and she showed it to me. I decided to go to the bandit’s house. So I lied to my mother. I told her that I would go outside for a walk. I went around to the shed in the back where my father kept his guns, and unlocked the case. I made sure that the magazines were full, before I headed off to get my revenge. I walked along the road, with anger driving me on. I quickly stopped dead, and walked back. It was like I was hypnotized by some person, and I put my weapons back. Then I returned to the road, realizing it was for my own good. I still kept walking, though, but then was stopped by a car coming towards me. It halted just before it passed me, and driving the car was a rather strange and a professional-looking girl. My sister. Alive? Was she the bandit, after all? I thought. I noticed a sword on the seat next to her. Why would anyone place a weapon like that? That’s totally a stupid move, and a one-way ticket to prison! The girl - my sister - walked out with the sword. Placed it beside my throat... “Didn’t expect that, eh? But no. That’s just a scare tactic. The real bandit is still out there. Where? Look at your family, John. I mean, ours.” She took the sword down, and showed a picture. I was left by shock. “So our father, is a criminal? He’s merely an impostor of our real father! And not only our bandit, but a terrorist. Where do you think he is now?” I asked. “Where else he could be? We need to get to the airport, because I think he’s about to flee!” Emily told. We hurried in her car, and meanwhile, I asked. “Who’s the dead person in the house, then? Perhaps a puppet?” “Yep, that is a puppet. A good distraction to our target,” she laughed. We reached the airport in time. We strode in, we saw hundreds of people walking in the airport, so it was hard to find our “father”. We searched for him everywhere. I decided to search in the terminal, and then I noticed our “father” just about to start boarding a plane. We ran after him, and then pulled his disguise off. He put his knife on my hand, and I screamed. Nonetheless, the police quickly arrested him, and thanked us. So basically, our father is a criminal! I thought with tears coming from my eyes. “Unfortunately, yes”, Emily said. After a while, a doctor came and put bandages on my hand. He said that I needed to stay at home, and take a break from school for some time. My sister joined me and then, we went back home to explain what had happened to our mother, and to tell her why her husband would not be coming back home.
