    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

It has become bad enough after last update. Lots of players are now crazily using drugs. Now the daily gifts will be gone soon. I don't like to play the game under "instructions" or to spend some drugs to gain some drugs. I won't do any daily mission, unless by coincident/accident. Once I run out of supply, I am done with Tanki.

    Let's Discuss Micro-Upgrades!

We can expect that this would happen to the other turrets, and hulls, later. At the end, only stocking up crystals will become usless; to be buyers is what they want. I feel that it is not the time to think which hull and turret to be used in the future; it is time to think should I still play this game.

Do you know will there be a sale/discount on buying crystals like the one in February ?

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

You're right. Thunder will be nerfed. I still feel it is not too bad because I can see that they only concern Firebird and Ricochet and power-up them again and again but nerfing other turrets at the same time in order to make Firebird and Ricochet to be the ultimate weapons . I was expecting they will only give a few damage points but add 2 sec or more to the reolad to Thunder.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

So, they will add around 1 sec to the Thunder reload; it is better than what I am worrying: 2 sec. Mathematically, Thunder will still be nerfed because the damage will be 20% up but we will need to wait almost 30% longer (depends on what level of the Thunder) for the next shot.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

Okay. Thanks. It still sounds good cuz M4 Thunder (i.e. max MU on M3) now hits only 70-90. It is around +20% :D.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

Thanks for the info. I am wornding would Thunder be up-powered that much? M3 Thunder has damage 54.1-70.6 (w/o MU) at this moment. If it will hit 85-110 after the re-balance that will be a lot. I am, of coures, very happy with it if it will be because Thunder and Smoky are the only turrets I have; especially Smoky's critical hit, the only advantage of the turret, will be nerfed.

Thanks for the info....the sale in May is exactly the same as the one in February; how come they said the percentages will be a surprise ?

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Totally agree. Smoky is very relying on its critical hit. Reducing critical damage equals nerfing Smoky. Onthe other hand, Firebird and Ricochet will be the king of the turrets soon. If I remember it correctly, Firebird's damage has been doubled in early February and it will be increased again in the upcoming update. I don't think even the afterburn damage will be decreased is a "fair trade" because if you have a powerful enough to kill enemy tanks quickly with normal burn, you don't really need the afterburn damage. Ricochet's number of ball in a clip and the ball speed have also been increased in February. Now, the range will be increased in the upcoming update. Firebird and Ricochet will be the ultimate weapons. I don't understand why TO has a bias toward them.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

I don't think so. I have a feeling that they, somehow, have a bias toward Firebird and Ricochet. Firebird's damage has been doubled in early February and it will be increased again. Reducing the remianing heat damage doesn't mean it will be a fair re-balancing. If the direct damage is high enough to quickly kill tanks directly, you don't really need the remaining heat damage. Ricochet's number of ball in a clip and the ball speed have been increased, also in February. The ball speed will be further increase and even the range will be increased in the upcoming update. I don't think Thunder will be given such high damage power. I won't be surprised if they give just 2 or 3 more damage points but add 2 more seconds to the reloading to Thunder.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

As I expected. Smoky has been nerfed since the beginning of 2015. I believe it would become super-under-powered by the end of the year. :( How is Thunder? Smoky and Thunder are the only turrets I have.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

I totally agree with what you mentioned about how people use Vulcan + Mammoth + paint + drugs, especially when a team put two or more of the combos to form fire-net to protect their flag or captured points. I believe theose tankers have taped or glued the spacebar on their keyboards. I believe the range should be reduced as well. At lease further reduction on the damage at long disatance.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

I don’t have a good feeling with this. As mentioned in the V-LOG 42, the normal hit damage of Smoky will be increase but the critical hit damage will be decrease. "Hey ! It is fair !". Really? If you are using, or did use, Smoky, you probably would have already realised that Smoky is very relying on its critical hit. It is difficult, not impossible, to destroy a healthy enemy tank without critical hit. With nerfed critical hit, Smoky is simply nerfed. "Hey, don't forget the normal hit damage will be increased !" Yes, it will be increased but by how many % do you think it would be? 25%? 50%? 75%? hopefully 100%. Do you think this would happen ? I won't be surprised if they give Smoky 1 to 2 more normal damage points and take away 10 critical damage points. Luckily, I have decided to switched from Smoky to Thunder last month. The nerfing of Smoky won’t affect me. P.S. Smoky has been being nerfed and nerfed from time to time. It is not wise to still consider Smoky as the primary weapon, like what I initially did; yes, I was once stupid but not anymore. BTW do you see that they are OP-ing Firebird again ? So, you know which turret will be an ultimate one.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

The major issue of Smoky to me is that it is unrealiable. If you don't have critical hit, it is quite difficult to destroy an enemy tank because you, most likely, would have been destroyed first. Smoky's critical hit is very powerful, however, we cannot control when it comes and the normal hit is pretty weak. I have experience of hitting a M1 Hornet + M1 Firebird 5 times with my M1 Smoky having non critical hit so that I couldn't destroy it; I was then killed by the flame. If there was one critical hit, I should have it killed but I could not control it. Another situation is that I normal hit an enemy tank 4 times then the critical hit came in the 5th hit and killed; what a waste ! Why it didn't come in the 1st or 2nd hit; I could have the enemy tank killed earlier. These are examples of how Smoky behaves "unrealiable". If I want to kill the enemy tank that are carrying our flag in CTF, I may not successfully do it. I have to pray for a critical hit, and hope that it will come earlier. I admit that sometime I am happy with the critical hit when it comes suddenly, especially when I am expecting I need, say, 3 or 4 shots to kill an enemy tank but it comes in the 2nd hit and kills. It is better to use Smoky according to what battle you are doing; that means you need another turret(s) for some battles. I now mostly use Thunder because I can "calculate", and expect, what will happen when I start shooting an enemy tank. I just need to be careful of the self-damage in close combat; some Thunder protective paints will help. I don't give up my Smoky even I am now stick with Thunder most of the time; I still use Smoky sometime, according to what battle I am going to do.

    Let's Discuss Isida!

For example, there are 2 tanks next to my Isida to be healed: Tank A is badly and Tank B is slightly damaged. I am healing Tank A because it could be killed anytime with just a small enemy hit but the beam just jumps to Tank B (or back and forth between A & B because two tanks are both close to my Isida. This is not what I, and most of the Isida users, want to happen. Another case is that one of my teammates (any turret) and I (Isida) are attacking an enamy tank at close distance. My beam just jumps from the enemy tank to my teammate's tank (or back and forth). This is also not what we want. Before the update, yes, we need some skills to lock on the enemy tank while it is moving but we can learn and practice to do. Now, the beam is jumping quite randomly. The updated Isida beam makes it more difficult to use; in another way it nerfs Isida.
  22. The updated Isida beam is jumping too frequently, especially when there are multiple targets, and hard to lock on the desire tank like before. It used to beam the turret of a tank so that we may lock on the tank we want by aiming the turret, even there are many tanks around it, but now we can beam anywhere on a tank after the update that makes it becomes hard to lock on the desire tank when there are multiple targets around. Usually we want to heal/attack a particular tank but now it jumps from the one to another automatically.

Thanks. I agree that it is not to be quite mature yet, at least for Isida. Hope they will fine tune it soon.

    Let's Discuss Isida!

Airming is too easy as the beam is jumping automatically when there are multiple tanks around; we have no control of it. It used to beam the turret before the update so that we may lock on the tank we want by aiming the turret, even there are many tanks around it.
  25. J.G.S.D.F

    Let's Discuss Isida!

I agree it looks cooler but I don't think it is better because it is hard to lock on the desire tank when there are multiple targets around. Usually we want to heal/attack a particular tank but it jumps from the one to another automatically.
