  1. Okay then, see you tomorrow.
  2. Hello, first of all, please refrain from double-posting... or multiple posting. Instead, you can use the 'Edit' button to reply to topics. Secondly, from the tone of your voice when you said 'Hear bloody hear!!!!!', you become the perfect example of a person that neither understood the video, neither read and understood my post and rather argued below in a sense of flaming just for the sake of it, and just so because so many people are against it (people who also don't care to see the advantages and who also didn't watch the video).
  3. I have literally no idea why people are blindly hating and flaming in the Match-making topic. One of the major reasons I believe is that no one watched the video and what's more is that no one even cared for just a bit to turn on subtitles and then watch the video; like, at least try to understand what the damn match-making system is about. All of you are saying the rank brackets are too large, well duh freaking DUH, if you at least cared or spared just a second of your life, clicked on the subtitles and watched the video, you'd clearly know that Semyon mentioned that this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values. Also, I'd like to mention that if a low-ranked player is invited to your group, the match-making system faults by bringing you both into the same battle with low-ranks or high-ranks; which CLEARLY brings itself to previous point: this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values. That being said, you guys need to chill and wait for the final implementation. You don't like it, simply don't "test" the match-making system. You like it, well, good. People also said that battles aren't good, they're facing overpowered people; which again brings me to the previous point: if a low-ranked player is invited to your group, the match-making system faults by bringing you both into the same battle. It's not that I'm triggered at these blind flamers or that I'm a moderator so I have to act like I agree with the game, NO. It's just no one could care enough to understand what this test really meant. And if you're saying what to do with your missions, well, I certainly agree with you - the Missions button was perfect where it was. This is because sometimes in the middle of a match, we forget what missions we had to do or complete. But for the time being - and I'm being quite serious here - it won't hurt to see what missions you had before you start a battle, note em down roughly and then keep that paper/note open in front of you. Supporting my facts above, here's a screenshot, which proves all of the statements I provided above. And if you're now wondering how we absolutely destroyed the enemy team, listen. We didn't dominate them, the final score was 3-0 in our favor (it was a very intense match, which also explains why I am - as an Isida - on top of the leaderboard. Most of the people in the middle of the match ran, because our team had more intelligent people than them (for example we knew exactly how and when to use Overdrive, when to go attack and when to defend).

Tanki Picture of the Day - Have any?

    Destroyed tank paint

Look, I don't know nothing about how I&S moderators make it work, but what I do now is that one can't just intervene in a topic and demand for it to be closed. You don't like the idea, you simply post why you don't like it. You like it, you click the like button.
  6. Here's how: 1> You go into the match-making system. 2> You select a mode you want to play. 3> The teams or opponents get lined up. 4> All of these people get taken to an another interface where they can select three choices of maps: Map A, Map B, or Random Map. For example, here's how match-making in games like Call of Duty works: 5> Once votes are up, match-making system creates that map and finally send players to that map. 6> The process then repeats from point number 4. Do note that players can leave the lobby anytime they like. Pros: Right now, a lot of players are complaining about them being sent to a huge map if they are short-medium map players and vice versa. With this version, you can choose your own map, well, to a limit. Group play is still supported. Cons: Still doesn't give you full choice of what map you want to play, but it isn't actually that advisable to add such thing. Before the match-making system, players complained of trying out new maps instead of the usual Polygon, Noise or Silence. This has happened already, and now they're starting to say that they can't play in their favorite maps anymore. Quite contradictory, right? And finally, I know that MM is still in development, but an idea like this could prove to be very beneficial for TO, especially when you see it's current state.
  7. I agree on the Solikamsk, though you can still snipe base-to-base easily. It was kinda annoying when everyone would just show up from that area and you had to waste mines there so no one would take the flag - I guess that's why they did it.

HTML 5 testing is live in the Test/Main servers!

Though you won't be able to actually log in and play in the Test Server, you can still get a little glimpse of how will the HTML 5 version of Tanki will look like, especially the sub-lobby loading bar system! In a nutshell, here's what we know has changed: Sub-lobby loading bar has been reworked; it has been made more "modern" and digital. The actual loading bar is a bit more bright. With that being said, watch out for open testing anytime soon!

  10. Okay first of all, they aren't lazy. Do you know how much time it takes to complete one video? First you have to record it, then edit it, then sync it with the voice of the person, then render it and then finally upload it. Secondly, you can just turn on subtitles by clicking the CC button in the video's taskbar.

    Complaint Book

Yes, it still happens but unfortunately, I can't record currently. If you join one of those Gold battles by clicking their link and then pressing Play, you'll see that sometimes, a lot of people just vanish from the battle and it says they've left. What it does is that once you click 'Play', it loads for a while, but then puts you back again in the lobby - you have to join back again by again clicking Play. You too? I think the problem is in whole Pakistan, especially with PTCL. I have tried calling them and the line just drops. I can open Forum but nothing else is loading for me, including the game.

    A Guide to Highland

Approved! Edits - 1. One rephrasing to make the sentence flow smoothly. Feedback - This guide is amazing and falls just a bit short of Reporter-level quality. A little more detail and better formatting, it would've been perfect. In the meantime, I would really appreciate it if you correct the corrupt spoilers in your post. On a side note, please do not start discussion on why this guide didn't win any prize in the Wikimania contest. The winners have already been announced; doing so will start flaming which might lead to warnings or bans. Thanks!

So far it has only been mentioned in Highland and Skyscrapers I think. It's just that all of these remaining maps (Cross, Courage, Highland, Skyscrapers, Siege etc.) were built from Wikimania entries - except Skyscrapers and Siege (which I have been tasked to do). When I was writing that Skyscrapers guide, that tactic name felt perfect for the description of it I had in mind.
  19. Well, @Flexoo has different opinions:
  20. A lot of game modes inspired by Call of Duty and other games can fit in almost perfectly in Tanki Online: For example, this idea sounds really fun; and because I have played Need for Speed game, I can tell you it's a lot of fun when you're playing for the top position. However, to make this even more challenging, I suggest that supplies should have a turn off option in this mode. Other modes include Gun Game or Evolution, in which with every kill you get, you advance onto a new turret and then onto a new hull until the final combination has been reached (this depends upon the settings of the battle). Last but not least, Kill Confirmed could also be very interesting. In it, you have to pick up a crystal/dog tag dropped by the enemy you just killed in order for the kill to count. So, if you kill a group of people, let's say three, you have to pick up three dog tags that just appeared in their location in order for three kills to be counted in your team's score.
