Look, let me explain some stuff to you: The main logic you took while presenting what you wrote can be attributed to the following facts: 1. <<Space>> mode is everywhere, and it's horrible: Well no, it actually isn't. This mode is only available in Pro battles, not normal battles. Since this isn't available in normal battles in the first place, you can't "remove" it. Not every battle is set to this mode. Out of the 15 hours I played today, most of the battles in this mode were Parkour battles. Sure, there were some normal battles, but their quantity will begin to drop as more and more people get bored of it. 2. Gameplay in it is horrible: Actually, from my POV, a XP/BP battle in <<Space>> mode is the best way to learn/practice controlling your tank. One Railgun shot will send you flying, and then it's up to you how you drive/shoot and control your tank. Other than this, this mode is the best way to make newbies (finally) learn about driving in Tanki, as it can literally push you to the limits and you have to press a lot of keys to keep your tank straight. Please try to understand the logic of updates and support 'em :) Hope you have a nice day, good luck!

I didn't write it here but - because I thought you might all figure this out - the theme of this contest was writing a death/drastic story in under 5k words, but still above 3k. I know this is really hard, but the prizes are really tempting too :)
