Though I do not know most of the Earth tradition, I get the gist of it. But "fairy dust" is never mentioned.

My main point is: No matter what they remove, people will complain. If they remove supplies, there will be the groups that complain about paints and M4 equipment.
-
Yes, exactly, DD counters the weapon and DA and Speed boost counter the hull. So one could use their current upgrade and supplies to counter each better upgrade, and thus have a fighting chance. That, in my opinion, is why they exist.

Imagine if you will, in some dystopian future, Tanki removed supplies. "But then the game would be balanced..." Say some "But then the game would lose it's balance." Says I Let me explain, if supplies were removed, so would micro-upgrades, all various turrets, and even paints. If balance is what the people want, the only SIMPLE answer is even the field. But the only way to do that is make the field the same for everyone. Hence the reason all of our favorite things about the game, be them supplies, paints, various hulls and turrets, and upgrades. "But that sounds boring!" Says some Sounds balanced to me, no bad variables, just pure skill and luck. My point here is this: Supplies create balance, but also take it away if they're misused. A M0 Railgun can one-shot a Wasp with DD, but an M1 Railgun will do just as good. Paints nullify damage from both, but DD slices through it like warm butter. Firebird at M0 is impressive, but at M3 it's a killing machine. But at M2 with DD it's in some ways a rival to M3 Firebird. Now one could easily misuse supplies by just being a jerk, which causes the targets to retaliate, thus creating what is supposedly today's biggest problem. Or, we could be rational and use them strategically and win because we think ahead better than the enemy. Supplies do not "replace" skill, they "complement it with a fine glass of chianti". A skilled Shaft with DD will easily hold the fort for a few minutes, but return to the no-supplies Tanki and you have the M4 Shafts dominating the battle because they bought crystals to upgrade their tank. If Tanki removes supplies, the buyers will be a real problem. Obviously you cold disregard this as just a bunch of rubbish thought up by a child, but I assure you, I am not joking here. This is my theory of what would happen in this scenario. In short, what I think would happen is: The people with M4 equipment would slowly dominate, and the people who complain will have nothing to complain about.

The shooter I'm best at is Galaga, that or Metroid Prime. -

As far as shooters, I guess Halo? I'm not good at them, but I enjoy Halo's gameplay. -

I know, we're less appreciated than Isida and we get pushed around just for being "noob shafts". Thank you for your words. -

I agree up to the close-range argument, we're not AT OUR PEAK there, we're at a disadvantage. Even if we die, we'll get a shot or two in. -

Title says it all, no need for some fancy intro. 1. We're noobs with no skill Okay, with me being a regular user of Shaft, though not as much as Hammer or Isida, I can debunk this. Imagine having a nice statue made of glass with a tactical nuke-launching cannon on it. That's a Hornet-Shaft. We're not all kill-obsessed self-centered noobs, we're long-range supporters. 2. We're kill-obsessed Well, kinda, but mostly towards Wasps and other easy targets. At least I'm not, I generally take out key defenses at the enemy base from a distance, and get no "thx shaft" or "nice shot". I'm not saying you should thank us for every kill, but you shouldn't just brush us off as self-centered. 3. We persistently wait you out at your position and kill you once the smallest pixel peeks out Nah, we got better things to be doing. Look, if you really want to avoid being targeted just don't enter our line of sight. 4. We always use heavy hulls and camp in high places for the best performance Nope nope nope nope nope, I use Hornet. High ground is always where the Railguns are dueling and the Shafts that DO use that tactic are. We're usually covering key areas, like the cliffs and flag positions in Rio. 5. We're useless up close Maybe in deathmatches, but if our teammates are merciful they usually rid us of our troubles. Even at close range we have our strength in the form of Arcade shots. With Speed boost, we can usually fend off most attackers. With the exception of Firebirds, those things are terrible. These are some common things said about us Shafts, feel free to discuss and debunk further in the comments below. Gute Naucht. ~The-Operator of the Galagan hive- 82 replies

Also watch out for: Muttering under breath Sudden loss in hearing Messages written in blood on the person's wall Lack of interest Bad posture Night terrors Bloodshot eyes Nonfunctional/Misshapen wings (More likely in larvae) Extra forelegs Deformed or bent eyestalks Difficulty gripping with claws Malevolent behavior/lack of work in the individual Mutations And lack of hygiene These are why we Galagans can't even play video games unless we have a certain score on a psychological test we take as larvae. Even then we run the chance of going feral, just like my friend Yv'tryno.

Hot question: Which piece in chess is more important? The bishop or the knight?
The-Operator219 replied to golden5648 in Archive
To the cold-hearted strategist, all of them are equally important. With the king being high priority, I usually use Bishops as meatshields. Knights just have more practical use to me. -
We Galagans have our own version of Santa: N!ɔʞ Sᴉɐuʇ 0lp (Pronounced "Ncklin' Snati Tod~", be sure to make it drawn-out and guttural for those of you with only a single uvula.) He lives atop the hive, and leaves lots of honey and pollen in our pods if we are good workers, but drags the naughty ones into the great pit where they spend the rest of their lifespan shoveling larvae's waste products, and making new sections of the hive. And he's real, no matter what Y'arcy says!

How To Make it Easier For Your Isida To Help You.

The panic it causes to unaware Shafts is more amusing than watching said Shafts trying to find targets. -
For me it's Noise, Polygon, Monte Carlo, and sometimes Opposition.

Is it better to drive Titan forwards or backwards for catching gold boxes?
The-Operator219 replied to FC_BayernMunchen in Archive
Actually, certain hulls move faster backwards I think. Unless I misread it: Hornet moves faster in reverse. -

Another thing: If we're both damaged and I'm a --->HEALER<---, wouldn't it make more sense for me to grab a repair kit and then heal you? Sadly nobody seems to understand that. -
I'll sum it up for you: This game is great, give us money.
