beaku, Actually, this isn't even a war game. It's a stylized version of one aspect of war...Calvary or tank fighting. Although what you say about war having two sides with the most powerful eventually winning could be true, it has nothing to do with enhanced supplies. Having done two tours of service during a war I can tell you this...although each side may hate what the other stands for, ( and in some cases that is not even true), there is respect,albeit grudgingly, for the tactics and skills that each side may incur. This is the great mystery . This is what wins battles and eventually wars, not superhero powers. War is a game of tactics and outthinking and outmanuevering your opponent. This is how this game should be played. Tanks should be "improved" through levels achieved on the battlefield with the skills that the tanker employs. Rank is achieved the same way. Not by swallowing a magic pill. Whether it is capturing a flag or possesing a piece of land, the thinking of commanders and the cohesion of their respective teams will be what "wins" the moment. This game is a fantasy, sword wielding, find the magic stone and become great and powerful bastardizing of war. People who have no idea keep calling it war. Read military history and you will see that immediately. The different places of battle in this game are nothing more than dungeons with the tankers being the dungeon crawlers. Gather and save your magic artifacts and when you confront the enemy you will infact obliterate them. Add to that all of the nastiness, immoral and abusive treatment that is thrown around here and what you get is a fantasy nightmare with debasement being not only allowed but encouraged. In battle, tankers cannot hear each other and I can assure you that in the heat of said battle what you would hear would sound more like prayers than something like, " yeah, well I did your mother last night." Really? What does this have to do with skill and tactics. This is not war my friend. This is a money making pit filled with howling demons that have no respect for themselves or others. Do the devs know? Absolutely! Do they care? Not a chance. They knew from the beginning where this would go and as it falls they now present Unity. Please! This game has bred it's own doom. I feel sorry for those who grew with it during the good times. They should not have to go through this. As for me, this game has been a struggle since the beginning. I am here now, mostly to share ideas in the forum with some good, creative people. I will not have anything to do with unity.........Peace

Hi RustyNail, They may very well be like that in real life, no way to know. I do know that in real life there are laws and people who enforce them and so, it's not so easy to be like that without standing out. Here, it's a way of life. I don't believe that they see the opposing team as co-players, if they did the battles would be more fair. No, this lack of caring and bad attitude are a direct result of what is allowed here by what has been supplied by TO. I also, have been in the position, a number of times, of begging for one flag. The results are always the same, ridicule on some level. They should re-name this game Thunder Dome, at least then people would know what to expect. This game is a cesspool of children gone mad with abuse, of themselves and each other. Name calling, words thrown at each other that are insulting and degrading. Actions that take root and grow from the basic fact that here they can be overpowered drug lords,taking and destroying every thing in their paths. There is no sympathy or compassion and it gets worse every day. Of course theses druggies don't want change,here they can act like they would like to in real life. How many real life bullies do you think thrive in this game? No, I don't believe I am reading too much into it. I have been on the receiving side of this madness constantly. This is not "only" a game! TO has created a monster and they have done nothing to control it. Every aspect of life has rules. There is a reason for that. Here, the abusers can gather and rule. Those of us who would really just like to play "a game" are not allowed to do that anymore. The good thing is that in time, like all corrupt societies, this mess will fall apart. I have personally played two battles in the past two weeks. There is no way to survive here without a limitless credit card and a warehouse of drugs. No. There are plenty of players out there that love it just as it is. Experience the drugging, swearing, belittling and absolute lack of morals and ethics and if you find you are ok with all of that, then you are where you belong. Maybe, you should ask yourself why? Peace

...and everyone seriously believes,with all that is wrong here, that Unity will be better! It will just be another place. They can't fix ongoing list of problems here, it's ridiculous and naive to believe Unity will be better. This is failing, so they create a new trouble spot to keep their bankroll flowing. Same here to all above complaints. The last month has been going steadily downhill...low fps,freezing, brown screen etc.. I have tried all the above and am at my wits end. I havent been able to play at all for the last 2 days. Fps stays at 2 to 4 ping 999 always red numbers. This is the same computer that has been fine up until the middle of july. All is well on my end. I don't get it, but I simply cannot get a single battle in anymore. Confused....Peace

Twins are fine just like they are. Don't mess with things just because you have a personal problem with them.I have a problem with a lot of tanks I face, it's the game. I have a bigger problem with the drugs than the tanks. Leave twins alone.

Thank You DarkOperative, Your answer is sincere, mature and I can tell you are a good person. For the most part, most of the people I meet here are the same. I usually don't even post in forums but I have always fought for the underdog and I was thinking more of those who won't speak out. I am not thin skinned. I have been around for a long time ( not sure how many here are my age) and this post was done more in the hope that someone might read it and maybe, it could make them think. I understand that there are terms for newer players. Names don't bother me but content does. Being reffered to as a noob because I am not turning my turret while in motion is a stupid reason. I explained that it is a personal Challenge for me, without going into detail( I don't like to chat while in Battles), but was just laughed at. Here's an experiment. Roll the last three Fingers of your left hand into your Palm. You will be left with a thumb an first finger, just like me. This is what I have to work with so I can only turn the turret when not in motion. Maybe there are others who have small Struggles for other reasons like this My situation is my problem and I am Good with it. I wish people would think a bit before they speak. I love this game and will always give my all. Thanks for listening.

Is this the end of the beginning or, the beginning of the end
