There is another annoying problem with Windows 10 is that there is a Windows Explorer Ribbon that makes Windows 10 look like Microsoft Office. The Ribbon takes too much space and is not needed. The Classic Shell for Windows 10 would be a lot better because the Windows Explorer Menus such as File, Edit, View, Tools and Help would make it look and behave like the tools menu bar in Windows 7 operating system. I hate the Ribbon in Windows 10 and I am OK with the Ribbon in Microsoft Office because all of the Microsoft Office applications have lots of features. There are a lot more features in Microsoft Office than there is in Windows Explorer.

At the moment Windows 10 has a lot of glitches and abnormal functionalities. A technician who works with Microsoft said to me that Windows 10 shall be 100% perfect in 5 years time. So I suggest buying Windows 10 in 5 years time. That is what I said for myself at the beginning of this post. That technician was named Jason who currently works at Staples in Bournemouth. He is the one that told me and recommended me to buy Windows 10 in 5 years time.

For those of you who already own and have both Windows 7 and, or Windows 10 I suggest you complain right now to Microsoft and ask their developers and technical chat agents to change Windows 10 back to Windows 7 so that people will love and enjoy the usage experience of Windows 10 much better. By changing Windows 10 to the look, feel and usability of Windows 7 it will make Windows 10 a much, much more successful operating system.

You folks needs to understand that Windows 10 must look and function like Windows 7 - plus by having some of the new Windows 10 technology working side-by-side along the Windows 7 technology would be much better, than, rather completely re-designing Windows 10 as it looks now like an alien operating system. I expect all you folks on this Tanki Online forum to reach out for Microsoft and ask them to change the look, feel, behaviour to the experience of Windows 7 instead. By having Windows 10 designed and to function exactly like Windows 7 it would be a much better Windows 10 operating system.

Believe me. Microsoft still has the chance and will change the Start Menu of Windows 10 - so wait and see.

Yes. Microsoft will change the Windows 10 Start Menu. For example, Windows 8 did not have a Start Menu. People complained about the missing Start Menu in Windows 8 (including me) and Microsoft re-instated the Start Menu in Windows 10 - OK. So the Start Menu in Windows 10 will have its layout changed to the one in Windows 7 Start Menu.

I will not buy a macbook. Microsoft will only change the look and behaviour of Windows 10 because people complain about the Start Menu. I am not the only person to complain to Microsoft. Many people around the world also complained about this issue as well.

I do realize that gadgets on Windows 7 were officially discontinued due to security vulnerabilities, but there are ways for Microsoft to make gadgets more secure. Microsoft needs to re-instate gadgets in Windows 10 but this time improve and boost their security usage. Apps, on the other hand, are too basic and does not have enough functionality to perform actions that gadgets can do. Please understand that Apps and gadgets are two different things and perform in different ways.

I would like Windows 10 to have all the Windows Live software applications included with the Windows 10 installation DVD, not separate like in Windows 7 - Movie Maker, Photo Gallery, Windows Live Mail and Messenger must all be included with the Windows 10 operating system. The Windows Live software applications helps users do more with Windows 10 so, for example, Movie Maker can be used as a built-in Windows 10 software application to make movies of games like Tanki Online.

I want to have the Windows 7 Gadgets back as well. Animated Clocks and other Gadgets that were removed needs to be re-instated back into the Windows 10 operating system, this time, for good. Please take a look at the Windows 7 Gadgets Galley. I miss this wonderful feature from within the Windows 7 operating system. The Gadgets Gallery in Windows 7 is extremely important to me. The Windows 10 Apps is very different and behaves in a totally different way to the gadgets that were available in the Windows 7 Gadgets Gallery.

Microsoft said that Windows 10 will be in continuous development during the next 5 years so there will be continuous change made to the Windows 10 operating system. I am not joking. This is true.

There is no need to download skins - packages and themes for Windows 10 just to make it look like Windows 7. Instead, the global design look of Windows 10 should look exactly like the design look of Windows 7 plus the Apps included to a special system folder (like I mentioned before), called the "Apps Gallery". The Windows 7 Gadgets Gallery has been removed to be replaced with Apps instead in Windows 10 version. I totally disagree with the removal of the Gadgets Gallery because both the Gadgets Gallery and Apps Gallery could be both included in Windows 10. For example, clocks are Gadgets that are available in Windows 7 and they have mechanical animated features like the movement of the clock's hands. Apps, on the other hand, looks like primitive, cartoonish flat sticky notes with no setting, no animations and weird drawings icons. Apps look so flat that they look lifeless. Apps do not represent a real icon at all. Just a silly drawing made by a child instead. The Apps in Windows 10 does not have any setting at all. They are so basic and the icons look like as if they were hand made in Paint or other software by Microsoft.

If you have Windows 10 installed on one of your home computers, then ask Microsoft to modify it to the same look, feel and behaviour of windows 7. By now, each and everyone of you should have Windows 7 installed on one of your home computers and should know exactly how Windows 7 looks, feels and behaves like.

I am posting this here becasue I want lots of people on this Tanki Online site to hear my opinions about Windows 10 and get people to complain at Microsoft about the negative changes being made to Windows 10 - OK.

The Aero Glass Themes that were available in Windows 7 has now disappeared in Windows 10 - I want to have the Aero Glass Themes back in Windows 10 as well. The Aero Glass Themes in windows 7 allows the transparency of Windows, like tinted transparency of glass. This is a screenshot of the Windows 7 Aero Glass Themes. In Windows 10 the Aero Glass Themes has disappeared. This is the Windows 10 Themes. If you look carefully, you can see that the Themes in Windows 10 looks flat with no transparency.

Also the Disk Properties of a disk drive, hard drive has changed. It now looks like a donut, rather than a hard disk properties. Windows 7 - Disk Properties As you can see from the picture above, the Windows 7 Disk Properties looks like a disk drive of Used and Free space. The look is perfectly normal. Windows 10 - Disk Properties As you can now see from the above graphic, the Windows 10 Disk Properties now looks like a donut. This display does not look like a Disk Properties window.

Please agree with me. Windows 10 does not look and work like I expected to. By the way, there are so many complaints coming from people who complain to Microsoft each day and Microsoft is receiving feedback continuously from their customers. Microsoft is continuously changing Windows 10 - adding and removing features. But will Microsoft change his mind about this awful Windows 10 Start Menu?

By the way Microsoft got rid of the Aero Glass Themes in Windows 10. The main beauty of Windows has disappeared. Damn!!!

Windows 10 icons look more like Windows 1, Windows 2 and Windows 3.0 style, combined with Windows 10 - terrible look.

I have used Windows 8 before and it is so terrible. No Start Menu. Windows 10, in my opinion, is only slightly better, because the Start Menu is back. But the Apps next to the Start Menu looks so ugly. Combining the Apps with the Start Menu makes the Start Menu no longer resemble the normal traditional Start Menu like in windows 7. Windows 7 - Start Menu As you can see from the image above, the Windows 7 Start Menu is so well organized and it really looks like a real, proper Start Menu. It is just perfect. Windows 10 - Start Menu Take a good look at the image above of the Windows 10 Start Menu. The Windows 10 Start Menu looks horrific, alien and cluttered. In addition to that, all the icons look like sticky notes, completely flat. That is very opposite to the beautiful Aero Glass Theme look in Windows 7. Microsoft needs to wake up again, and think back to the beauty and well organized Windows 7 Start Menu look and theme.

Please can you folks reading this post participate with me and ask Microsoft to make the necessary changes I suggested about Windows 10 - now.
