I haven't posted a new idea about hulls for quite some time now. I have an idea on a new breed of hulls which was already mentioned by a Tanki Online developers named Maf. The new idea to bring a new series of three variants of hulls are hulls that walks. Those hulls would be called "Walkers". We all know how Walkers looks like the Star Wars. Here is my though on the closest design on how walkers are supposed to look like in Tanki Online. Tanki Online is a game that is moving forward. This game is moving forward in time, but it also needs to move forward in technology, so my idea about implementing Walkers into this game is the correct decision to make Tanki Online leap forward even further. Walkers would simply be walking hulls. Developers will need to create three hull variants, just like they did with hovering hulls, which are now complete and released. The Walkers will have three different characteristics according to their size and weight. Instead of caterpillar tracks of hovers, those new breed of hulls would have legs to walk on the ground. To keep the walkers stable, the hulls themselves will need to have four legs. Light weight walker: The light weight walker will be able to run fast like a Wasp hull. This hull will have an overdrive that kicks enemies and dealing damage to enemy tanks. The kick will seriously hurt and damage enemy tanks and also push them far enough for the enemy to keep its distance away from you for quite some time. Kicking an enemy tank would become useful in situations when trying to capture a control point, a flag, a ball in rugby, or even a gold box. You will also be able to run away from your enemies fast using the light weight walker to steal their flag and bring it to your base. That's so cool to have such a running hull in Tanki Online. Medium weight walker: This medium weight walker would have an average walking speed of medium hulls like Viking and Crusader. That would be the perfect middle point between armor and speed, just like Crusader is. The overdrive of the medium walker would have two machine gun attached at the knees of both front legs that shoots fast-travelling piercing bullets that are capable of penetrating the armor of any hull with ease. The sub-machine guns overdrive will only fire bullets for 10 seconds in a non-stop mode and destroy any enemy in its path. Those machine guns would be very useful in situations when dealing with big clusters on enemy tanks trying to protect their bases. Those heavy machine guns would be a long range weapon which no enemy can resist surviving its deadly arsenal of bullets. Please note that both machine guns will work and function in a parallel mode, meaning that both machine guns will simultaneously fire that bullets at the same time when the overdrive as activated. That means that both machine guns will be active for a whole 10 seconds of time. Heavy weight walker: The heavy weight walker will be able to walk slowly, moving at the same speed attribute as a Mammoth hull. This walker will be a big hull with lots of armor so that it can survive for longer periods of time on the battlefield. This heavy weight walker will have an overdrive that shoot a red twin laser for a whole 10 seconds in a non-stop mode. That lasers would function in a similar way to the twin lasers that you see being fired from the Walker in Star Wars. The only difference is that both lasers will fire for 10 seconds without stopping. That means that any enemies from a far distance would be cut and vaporized in seconds. This overdrive will be a long range overdrive which would be beneficial as a secondary weapon for use when needing to attach enemies that are very far from you. This is especially useful when playing on large maps with a slow moving hull. Those twin lasers will be red in color and each of the lasers would fire one laser at each eye of the heavy weight walker. The lasers will not shoot from the walker's mouth. both lasers will function simultaneously for 10 seconds of active time of the overdrive. Walkers names based on weight: Suitable names to use for all three variants of walkers would be the following names given to each hull. Light weight walker name -------------------- Kiwi. Medium weight walker name ---------------- Pheasant. Medium weight walker name ---------------- Ostrich. All the three walker hulls will be given the names of birds because they walk on legs. I know that birds does not have four legs, but the names Kiwi, Pheasant and Ostrich are suitable names to name those three walking hulls according to their weight and size. I hope that you like my new and improved suggestion that I have created based on a similar phrase that Maf posted sometime ago when hovering hulls were released sometime ago. Maf said something like this once "I wish we could have tanks with legs which can walk in Tanki Online. That's something like Walkers", he said. He was right. Tanki Online is moving forward so a new mechanic for a whole new breed variant of hulls is the right thing to develop for the ongoing improvement of Tanki Online's gameplay mechanic. Thank you so much Maf for your short phrase which sparked me to create this superb idea post on (walking hulls) called "Walkers". Please do not merge this thread with any other because this is an original idea which no one wrote a post about before. This idea is original. Thank you for reading and understanding. -

@ThirdOnion That's a good thing that the HD skins are already available for Hopper, Crusader and Ares. One thing that I am saying is why did developers not mention that in the latest V-Log episode?

Thanks for updating the Wiki Skins page to add HD skins. Does HD skins already exist for Hopper, Crusader and Ares? If so, then why didn't you inform us in the V-Log? You need to mention somewhere that HD skins already exist for Hopper, Crusader and Ares. Please say so. I did not know that those HD skins already existed for those three hulls.

The new website looks good, but I prefer how links are organized on the old website. In my preference, I prefer the design of the old website than the new one. Would developers could have done instead, which would of being better, was to merge the old website with the new to bring a new look from both worlds. Preferably, I prefer green text and borders on a black background like we used to see on the discontinued Flash version of Tanki Online. Developers could change the new website's theme to have green text and borders on a black background so that Tanki Online has a military theme, which is what I prefer for a good new website. Its not too late to do that. Developers can do that before officially releasing the new website. Please do that.

Today, I will make the most of the special themed mission with Wasp and Smoky. What's next? What shall the next themed special battle mode be? Will it be Thunder and Viking? I hope so...

My overview on XT skins. My general perspective of how XT skins should look is in my opinion they should all be remade in HD. XT skins have old and outdated crappy graphics that resembles Tanki Online's old graphics from 2012/2015. That's bad for today's Tanki Online of 2021. All XT skins should always remain in Tanki Online as usual. The only thing is that all XT skins needs to be refurbished in HD. In other words XT skins should become "XT HD". Once the new XT skins are re-released in HD form, they would replace the existing old XT skins and players will get to keep their earned XT skins, meaning that players will have new and updated XT skins in HD in their garages. All XT HD skins will have to have a vibrant gold appearance. The golden XT HD skins will have to cover part of the hull and turret with gold metallic plates. Just think of that cool looking Golden Gun from the James Bond movie Dr. No. That's the sort of XT HD skins that I am talking about. From now on, I have removed and stopped wearing all my XT skins because they have old and outdated graphics that are inferior to the new better looking HD skins that are available so far for Smoky and Hornet. I really like the look of the HD skins with the silvery metallic appearance that looks like aluminium. Since aluminium looks pure silver, so XT HD skins will have to have a pure gold appearance, rather than a smudged yellow appearance with fuzzy blocky plates. Please can you developers listen to my suggestion and turn all XT skins into XT HD skins for all turrets and hulls, including for terminator and juggernaut as well.

Its good to see 4 vs 4 players in the special themed battles with Smoky and Wasp. There are no supplies equipped on players so that means that I can make more kills in such battles. I hope that those kind of battles will be available when new future HD skins are released. Next, I hope that Thunder HD and Viking HD will be released at the same time.

Next time, it would be very ideal to have a special themed battle mode with Thunder and Viking. When developers release HD skins, it would be a good idea to release one HD skin for a turret and another one for a hull, then make a special themed game mode for celebration of those two release skins. HD skins would be required to be released once every two weeks (14 days), two of each simultaneously for two part of the tank. That is one HD skin for a chosen turret and another HD skin for a chosen hull.

The game was slower on the first day when this update was released. Now, the game loads faster, like before. Improvements will be made in the near future. I do agree that items needs to be sorted out properly in the garage. For a start, it would be a good idea to be able to manually browse for paints just by typing its name of a description in a search box. A search box would be a very helpful feature to add for browsing paints. Skins and augments should be close together in the garage in their respective squares, rather than being scattered all over the place which makes no sense. The garage in the obsolete Flash version was very well organized, so it would be very ideal to do the same thing here on the HTML5 version of Tanki Online. Players are complaining about HTML5 bugs and other issues like a well organized garage, which I agree with. Developers must re-organize everything in the garage and bring us all an HTML5 version of Tanki Online which would be perfect and must better organized than this current messed up layout we have now. In addition to that, I personally do not think that it is necessary at all for developers to create a new Tanki Online website. What developers could do is to re-organize the pre-existing website and tweak its design slightly to make it more modern and well fitting with Tanki Online. For example, one of the first good looks that would make a perfectly well themed website is to make the background black and all text and border lines green like it used to be with the obsolete Flash version of the game. Green text and other green elements would give Tanki Online a well emphasized military look to the website. That's what developers should work towards a much better and improved website, rather than making a website that me and other players wont like. Improving the existing old website by refurbishing it is the right step forward into the future of Tanki Online's personal website design, look, feel and excitement for gamers.

I really like this special themed game mode with Smoky and Wasp combos. This reminds me of the special Railgun and Hornet mode we had on the celebration for the end of Flash sometime ago. It would be a good idea if the new chards currency could be used to create one gold box per day. That way, players would be able to earn and save up gold boxes so they can drop them later for special missions that requires a certain amount of gold boxes to be dropped. If this chard system is implemented later for gold boxes generation, that would not abuse gold boxes because only one gold box would be created per day, or after claiming completed daily missions. One gold box would require 100 chards to make, just like standard containers. Developers could add a gold box generation system to the current one which is used for standard containers. The good news is that non-buyer players would be able to make better use of dropping gold boxes in battles from time to time. Nothing would be abused or disrupted in Tanki's economic system nor the shop.

I really like this new shards gain container thing. Its cool and helpful. I hope that shards will be added to weekly missions as well.

When Thunder HD is released, I hope it will have more augments that do heavy and deadly splash damage. Also, shot colors would be required for Thunder as well as Smoky.
