    I wasn't so lucky with clans, one was only motivated by kicking off members the other had a leader who was obsessed to win clan wars (mostly 1v1 merely on map:Hills) also asked members to be frags on kill missions. I gave up on clans but also no need for that, would be better to have a few reliable bros! That could bring me back on daily base.. You have an impressive supp usage, so many mines.. so few drugs! How? :D

    Pros and Cons.. You can move forward and backward and still shoot, you can zigzag, and shoot in coordination with a fast firerate weapon like Rico. You can't swing your shots if you are shooting sideways. Sideways you are bigger target and more easy to be knocked off aim,

    This is my main acc, practically the only one. A good economy is a must as a free player to keep step with buyers on p2w multiplayer games. No doubt there was such a correlation but it's not enough for generalisation.

    You can find the good bounce surfaces on every map, and with the long range alteration an open map is better.

    Well, by being efficient.. :) I simply maximised my cry/exp rate by doing mission chains focused on crystals, also I mostly finished top in battles, saved my premium rewards for events with double funds (which combined means 4x fund), only focused on 1 turret and 1 hull, buyed stuff on sale (except the m1 alteration for rico, which was an insta mustbuy for me) saved supps because I don't like drugging and try not to use them. In my experience the firerate decides who turns who, and Rico is faster, Smoki may hit first, but you have enough time to take back the control with Rico. I could be better indeed, you say by a lot, I feel by a bit. :)

    Yes, it's efficient, check my video on the previous page. I see people rage against it because their butt being kicked by some and being beaten by someone who's misjudged of being skilless hurts the ego.

    Thanx :) You should see the end of that match.. Yes M1 alteration (but my Rico is still M2 only), speed and range ftw, I also love the potential to knock off Rails aim.

    It would take too much effort for a negligible benefit. Better to learn to use drugs, to improve and that's a shame for this game.

    Totally worth it, now I can't live without it. Once I entered a game with alterations turned off, my rico felt like a cotton candy launcher.. :)

    Got it, I never think about Poly CP, "brickonspace" slaughter type battles because my tank is not ideal for them. You are right, also people won't wear protection against Rico there, because the one without splash is a joke for this kind of battle. I would still not buy it for myself.

Well fixed turret has lots of advantages, I only turn when I'm blocked to move or lay on my side to come back on my feet (this seems to work again with my Viking), but no excuse for those using mass supplies, that's the real problem, not fixed turrets... Advantages of fixed turret: - you can aim with moving your hull, Viking turns fast, even when I'm attacked from back, I can quickly turn back, lay a shot on the wall beside me halfway (good chance to hit) and the next shot is directly on my attacker, who's surprised how attacking from behind could make him the prey. - you are the smallest possible target when you are faced towards your enemy, which also means the smallest possible knock-off on your edges from him - you can't swing your shots when your turret is sideways. I swing every single shot! About the splash damage alteration I feel it's ridiculous, I'm glad that I don't need to buy it. The longshot alteration is a must on the other hand.

    Sure, a slowly traveling plasma instead of an instanteniously hitting round, sure, a clip which is empty after 10ish shots instead of a constant rate of fire, and spending an extra 100k on alteration to have it.. sure..

    Double projectile size and maximum bounce numbers, no impact on the game at all, unless.. seems like this helped on the missing shot bug finally, I hope so! The alteration is ridiculous, you haveThunder if you want splash damage and you use Rico to bounce..

    Drug free battle on my fav map. New stats of Rico look OK, but wasted many shots on vertical angle nerf.

    Sure, he ment recoil, but firerate nerf is more responsible for the fact that you can't get it back on its tracks laying on side. The recoil was never enough, it swinged the hull only a bit, but the next shot came fast enough to add it's swing to the previous one and so on, couple shots and you were back on feet. Now the firerate is too slow, hull is already back to the initial position when the next shot is available, so the pushes of consecutive shots are not added up, you stuck in place. You can still shoot as a stationary tower laying on your side, killing someone this way is FUN !

    It's a bug they were unable to correct since ever, if you hit near tile edge/joints, the ball disappears/makes no damage after the bounce (the damage indicator is the only update this lately I like, you can see the bug clearly). Not enough that they nerfed rico massively (slow reload/vertical autoaim effectivity) we are still haunted by these disappearing rounds (or my favourite, when a round bounces under!! the enemy tank without hitting it). In exchange we get fast turret rotation (like it was even needed) and reduced recoil (now unable to turn back to feet laying on my side, which was fun). Not mentioning that Viking, which I was upgrading almost until m4 few days before the update now feels like riding a wet sponge. I come back to game maybe once a week only, still curious what the next alteration will be, but I'm sure my commitment is dying thanx to the updates.

    Yes, but in a small map like Polygon, or actually even medium maps, in DM enemies are spawning anywhere around you, easy to find one or more in your effective range with Twins. In CP people are swarming near the pit, so turrets with area damage are better. Kill steal is an issue for any turret not only Twins, and you can also steal kills with it effectively, no DPS drop is really an advantage.

    Nice D/L NewbieCupcake, heavy hull is a good choice, they won't target you, but I'm surprised for the amount of your kills with Rico in Polygon. Especially seeing those protections, and I don't understand why so many use it, maybe they switched because of your effectiveness. Twins would be ideal for that battle, no DPS drop, always available targets if effective range.

    True, but once you're back from the wtf-effect you already wasted few shots while both of them fire at you. About rocking hull I just discovered a new technic to extend the upward angle of the shot, the second shot. You do the normal rocking back and forward, but you fire 2 shots without delay while moving forward continously. This way the first shot will lift up the front of the hull even more, the second shot will reach even higher. At least it's new for me, I will try to build it in my gameplay. :)

    I made a graph to show how the damage profile evolves with upgrade. Bottom one with Twins as reference. If your initial damage spike is swallowed by a healing kit, you are pretty much trash, especially with M3+

    Another one, when you are about to kill an enemy, but another enemy tank comes in line (vertically) with him, and your autoaim chooses to switch target, fire at the other one, instead of finishing off the one you were shooting at. :wacko:
