yes, i think bumrah has been very good and kumar has really improved but it is definitely india's batting that makes teams nervous. Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Dhawan all being in good form gives India the ability to dominate attacks(though scarily Kohli still probably isn't at his best, which is terrifying because he's already averaging 157 this tournament).

I think india's bowlers are helped by the fact that teams feel like they need to make 350+ to beat india. Therefore they feel more pressure when they're only scoring at 5-6 an over. I think Ashwin is too much of a superstar to leave out, though he has been out of touch.

India should absolutely destroy pakistan but i guess anything can happen. Just can't see anyone breaking through that top 5 or 6 that india has.

They probably lacked the bowlers to win

starc has recovered fully from his injury, should be ready to go at the start of the champions trophy. would love to see him, hazlewood, cummins and pattinson all in the same team and i'm sure i'm not the only one ;) . will be hard for selectors to fit them all in tho...

yeah i'd agree with that. But england are looking pretty good this year, they've found a few more real power hitters in buttler, roy and stokes. Stokes has really come of age this IPL, he's becoming a real matchwinner. South Africa look pretty good but I feel as though its the usual situation with them, they'll probably get to the semis and lose :P .

yea he probably was too slow. although to give him credit, him and rahane were the only reason they got close to the total. great bowling performance by MI, ironic because it was their batting that got them into the final

hoping pune will win but it will be tough. the absence of stokes didn't seem to bother them when they first played MI but still...
