    What book are you reading?

I'm reading bourne identity (yes it is a book) and brave new world by aldous huxley just finished reading We by Yezgeny Zamyatin. Really good book, though a little dense. Love the depth he's packed into the book, great writer.

    Cricketers' Corner

lol mccullum slapped that one back in my face :P in maxwell's case you'd think it would be quite the opposite- he's dominated ashwin for many years and is brilliant against spin. I'd say he's weakest when facing really good, quick fast bowling, against cummins in the bbl he looked nervous (then again, who can honestly say they enjoy facing 150kph rockets) lol yeah they were awful. slow wicket but still, if you want to win games, a score of 140-150 is way too low. mumbai got lucky though, they looked terrible at the start, no intent.

They'll certainly have a threatening pace attack when everyone is fit and firing. cummins, rabada and shami all good pace, even chris morris is capable of bowling near that 150km/h mark. How good was his cameo last night? 38 off 9

what about the inconsistent, inexperienced kxip captain??  just kidding, maxi's did well in the first game, see how he goes for the tournament.

    Cricketers' Corner

yea i know he's coming back from injury but he's batting terribly. isn't as reliable as he was a few years ago now watch him go out and make a century just to prove me wrong

rashid khan is killing it in the ipl, how come i've never heard of him? mccullum is out of touch, might be retiring soon?

Who'd have thought that a boring ol' left arm offie could be such a party boy?

How much preparation do you guys reckon gayle does before a match? To me, he just looks like a really lazy cricketer. When he gets going, though, he can win matches off his own bat.

 are you alright mate? let it go. We're all very sorry on behalf of Steve Smith if his actions so deeply offended you. But STOP WHINING AND LET IT GO :o

Poking fun at australia's cricket team, honestly, doesn't bother me, nor should it. Trying to take away their integrity as people, however, is absolute rubbish that shouldn't be tolerated in this forum. This is a cricket chat. Keep all that jealous crap to yourself or start some new forum. Just don't involve us in it and stop spamming this forum with your unnecessarily provocative stupidity.

    Cricketers' Corner

All this crap about cricket being a 'gentleman's game'. Well it's not. It's a professional sport, not lawn bowls on a sunday afternoon after tea and biscuits. International teams play to win and India plays as hard as any other country in the world (yes, even australia). So sick of all this whining and 'your country doesn't play fair' crap. Seriously. Just grow up.

    Cricketers' Corner

great series but far out, this loss would've been so much easier to accept if it was a 4-0 drubbing. At least then i wouldn't have had to actually waste my time watching this game.

I'm just not going to say anything anymore. every time I've commented while the aussies are batting, a wicket falls

    Cricketers' Corner

I like this intent from the aussies, we need as many runs as we can now.

aussies bowling well, india stubbornly hanging on. great cricket all round

is it just me or do all good left-arm chinaman have a big bag of tricks? kuldeep yadav's selection gamble paid off, great bowling

first session goes to the aussies, smith looks hard to get out

    Cricketers' Corner

yeah. don't forget hazlewood though, on a decent wicket he could really trouble the indian batsmen. hazlewood was probably better than starc in the recent home series so on a wicket like this he could really have a massive impact

    Cricketers' Corner

Yeah, it does seem like a strange choice. Australia definitely look to be in dominant form today, whereas india don't really look awake. kohli is a massive out, his captaincy this series has had a big influence.
  24. mynameisdaniel_2015

    Cricketers' Corner

its one of the strangest sights in cricket-virat kohli running out the drinks for the indian team
