If I played as much as I did before, I would be at least a Major General. I went from WO2 to Captain in about 6 weeks when I MU'd Firebird and Viking to 50/50 and just played mindless Polygon CP non-stop. But those days are over as Firebird is nerfed and you cannot toast a group hug anymore. Lately, I've been stuck with a lot of things that went wrong at work and my new place for the past 4+ months, so that took away a lot of my free time. If I can get to Lt.General I'd be so happy.

It doesn't matter. Near-empty large maps when collecting a certain supply or requiring flag captures. A full battle when needing to destroy enemies. Entering the side that is outnumbered just means you have more targets to shoot at.

When lag is being blamed on the user's "bad" connection (even though the user is having a bullet connection to other sites) rather than on the Tanki server's network inability to handle the load.

Striker is awesome in this instance.

Afterburn still exists. But now you cannot attack multiple tanks unless they were side-by-side. The tank behind is shielded by the tank in front now when it concerns Firebird/Freeze.

I am aiming for Paladin. It used to be Prometheus I wanted, but Paladin (Smoky) gives me at least some range to fight with. I didn't mind the damage nerfing of Firebird, but they took away the one aspect that made it dangerous (and made up for its short range) was the damage it could do through tanks. Plus it is annoying to be hit by Smoky when you don't know where it's coming from.

Looks like Viking/Firebird served its purpose. It got me from WO2 to Lt.Col where I was able to get the Bulldozer kit in mid-summer. I jacked up Thunder to M4 and it got me to Colonel in late summer. It got busy with my move and all, but right now I am preferring Smoky with Wasp/Hornet/Viking. I think it was V-log 72 that got me into Smoky. It's not a noob weapon just because it the default turret for beginners. You are forced to be accurate with it.

What about Thunder + something else now that Isida had its teeth removed? What Double module would you recommend? Also, I would like to test your Thunder protection theory vs Thunder-M4. I can make it worth your while.

You should emphasize you bought the alt(s) under discount (especially if you have screenshots and e-mail receipts) and it should be considered as a full payment - they need to either refund the actual full cost of the alteration if discount period expired or activate the exact alteration(s) that were bought in the person's garage if there will be no refund.

When you hear that, then you must be doing something right in playing the game as it was meant to be - utilizing all open resources at your disposal. I mean, it's not a PRO battle, is it?
