I'm doing the same thing but following along the Firebird path. It's going to be tough because of the delicate nature of the Wasp hull (Firefly Kit). Let's see if I can make it all the way to 2nd LT (Firewall Kit becomes available at this rank) on this combo. Take the challenge and see how far you can get with the Fujiyama Kit alone before the next Vulcan kit upgrade. If you do make it all the way to the next kit upgrade, you will be the Fujiyama guy.

The afterburn time for Fire M3 is just sick!

Could use a paint with this combo: Firebird 30% Railgun 18% Isida 12% Upgradeable to 45%, 30%, 22% respectively.

Then I would bypass Ant and just wait for Wasp-M3 to unlock. You could still change your mind, though, when you get to that level and could still get the Ant. I'm trying to go Viking/Firebird all the way to M4. I really like Firebird and the afterburn is kind of like a revenge gift. It's funny because up until WO1 I hated that turret and thought I would never use it because I thought it was useless with its short range and all the "turret turning" required. Then I started to use it as "practice" to force myself to learn independent turret/hull maneuvering..... Things change, eh?

You mean have the creator if the map be some sort of "battle moderator"? Once that BM leaves, there will be none. Actually, it would help with rank-up parties where one is unable to set the battle to private. There could be a complaint option put in the drop menu that only the BM can see. And there would have to be at least 50% of a team or 40% of all players complaining using this option in order for a kick/ban to activate for the BM to use. Make sense? Prevents God-Mod attitudes from battle creators kicking out anyone on a personal note.
