Thunder is a lot more simple to use than Gauss btw.

I think what needs to happen regarding sledgehammer is that the average splash damage (ASD) and weak splash damage (WSD) both needs to be reduced by 75%. Meaning that sledgehammers ASD and WSD will deal 75% less damage than that of stock thunder.

Also last time I tested, the laser doesn't appear in scope mode for the enemy until it's practically fully charged.

Hunters EMP should be able to make enemies mines disappear. So me and Congo tested this, and right now, Hunters EMP does not vanquish the enemy's mines even if you stun them. Proof (props to Congo for taking the extra time in taking the screen shots and for helping me with this test) Anyway, it would make sense for hunters EMP to make enemy mines disappear. Especially since the only reliable counters are mammoths OD, titans dome (I guess), and just straight up kill the miner. -
So me and Congo tested this out, and indeed, hunters EMP does not get rid of mines, even if you stunned the player that actually laid the mines. Which sucks.

Or maybe it can, but you have to zap the person that laid the mines. We can test this after server restart if you have the time. I can spare some mines for the test.

True, but still is a HUGE problem. That weight difference between hunter and Viking is enough to say that Viking is unusable for turrets that need stability to do well like thunder, railgun, striker, shaft, Gauss, etc.

Well it's awesome looking, but that's about it. It's stats are lousy compared to hunters stats.

Rails can exploit one thing, and that is that they can just ram into you and get 200% guaranteed hits on you, that's why I excluded it from the skill requirement department. Magnum has changed since 2017: 1) ok I'll give you that. 2) that's what the turret was designed for, and if it went out in the open it'll most likely lose. And the reinforced gun carriage alteration takes that away. And apparently there's quite a few of these RGC users in the marshal + ranks. 3) Gauss sniper has a 20m splash radius according to the updated wiki. 4) I just assume that every magnum crater hides a mine.

Lol, I legitimately did not know how many mines were in there. I guessed based on the size and darkness of the crater. :D Anyway, nice vlog.

Yeah. It don't take much skill to use smoky, and it takes much less if you're spamming the shots on your enemies using autocannon, especially if they were using a stable hull.

This morning I was on my first account playing some MM battles, I noticed that the only smokies I saw were auto cannon on titan. Damn that alteration is so annoying.

TBH the only thunders I find annoying are the sledgehammer thunders.
