TO be honest, it's not the best turret to be using, but it sure ain't the worst thing out there. I think everyone's biggest complaint with thunder is the fact that at high ranks you face a lot of players with 40-50% protections. I think the protection module values should be rebalance, because I think there are some modules that are just too effective and some that aren't effective enough. But as far as my feelings towards thunder, well to any turret, you'll learn some very interesting tricks. The best trick I've utilized will have to be one where if an enemy was right in my face and we are near a wall, I could just shoot the spot on the wall by the enemy and they'd get the full brunt of the damage while less damage is inflected onto myself.

Meh, I just use stock thunder, and still do fine. But whatever floats your boat.

Thunders pretty good, just make sure to use protection so that you'll take less damage against your own splash when an enemy is right up in your face. Also MU it a bit. You already have an mk4 Viking, so why not use it with that?

I think GS matching should be based on what you use the most of all time and what you've been using recently. For example if a players most used combos and most recently used combos are as follows: 4600, 4950, 5200, 5500, 5800, 6050, 6400. That players average GS would be 5500, so they should be facing players with similar GS.

Oh before I forget.

Honestly there is no point for hunters OD to have the delay since status effects just reveal who has OD and who doesn't. It just serves as a cruel disadvantage for hunter which already has plenty.

The only players this ridiculous experiment will bring are mostly these: · Legend rank players. · Players who only care about ranking up quickly, even if it means being at a severe disadvantage later on. · Accounts that the owner doesn't really care about.

That's what I did with all the accounts I have interest in. They're on the sidelines till this wretched disaster of an experiment is over or the devs change it to our satisfaction or they just add an option to disable all boosts for the time being. On the flip side, all my neglected accounts are getting some attention so I suppose that's the only positive.

Well my idea got rejected. So I guess I won't be touching any of my accounts that I have interest in till September unless I want to do some trolling.

Now this will be an interesting battle.

Gauss is ponytail boy's baby. So he released it and only slightly nerfed it. The devs were on the right track to making striker a decent turret. And then plans to keep going stalled because ponytail boy wanted his baby to be in the game. But honestly I like striker as a turret, I do agree though that it's quite weak and needs some nice buffs.

Just the first day of this and I already have gained 1900 exp on my Killer2_the_best account, which is almost a third of what I gain on a weekly basis without boosts.

I voted challenges because they have turned the community into a toxic wasteland. Everyone just cares about getting 3-6 stars per battle nowadays even if it means sabotaging their own team.

I think striker just needs the following changes: · Faster projectile speed for salvo mode. · Longer aiming recovery time. · Laser being replaced by just brackets for an indicator. · An indicator of which side will fire next for the user. · Increase in vertical auto aim. · Smaller lock on time.

No point in arguing with him. He's just an ass kisser for the devs. They should at least make an option to turn the boosts off for the individual. Otherwise the only accounts I'll be playing on for the next 3 months are those that I don't care so much about. Anyway, I'll suggest something as such and see what happens.

Actually I kinda changed my mind. I'll still play during this whole event, but it'll be on my first account. Killer2_the_best. And only because I think it's time to rank it up again, even though I stopped caring about it long ago.

My GS without drones or alts is 8872-8880. So I don't use alts or drones (that much) on my main. I'll use my driver drone if I have an OD mission that I need to complete quickly. And my GS with it is only about 9101-9107.

The only one here that is "lucky" is you. You didn't have have to deal with players with high protections against you all the time, or with OP alts and drones. But us players who aren't legend ranked do. Being in a battle full of legend ranked players is actually worse than being in a battle full of buyers considering if you're not a legend rank yourself. And of course you like this update, you're a legend ranked player yourself, so you can play as much as you want and rank up fast, and it won't harm you.

Guess I'm taking a break from the game this summer, unless if the devs nerf the exp boost. Honestly this setup should be for only legend ranked players while everyone else gets like maybe 1.5 crystals and 1.5 exp. OR Give us an option to turn off the boosts for ourselves.
