    I have to agree. As long as there isn't a balance of power of the weapons and hulls this, "Elite Gold Box War" would be a useless and futile game play. For example, the other day I played 1v1 my M1 mu 50/50 smoky and M2 mu 35/50 Hunter vs an M2 Firebird and M2 Titan on the island battlefield. It was a pro battle so drops and supplies were turned off. It was a very good battle a blow for blow fight to the very end. Until there is balance in the fields such as this... fool hardy suggestions like DmanBattleMaster presented should go the way of the dinosaurs.

    Sounds like a bait and switch to me. Look at TO false advertising it's products. You buy and ... well, well, well we have decided to go in a different direction. Sucks to be you because we are protected by a licensing agreement. This is why I have started to check out other tanking online games.

    I have a BIG, no HUGE complaint. Chat moderator, Mafiso. What is up with this clown? I mean really! I am starting to see Topic Merged to subject matter that doesn't really apply to the question, query, comment or statement that was made. I call for a complete review of this individual's reviewing and moderation status. I am sure that are many in the community that are with me on this.

    I would like to see a game mode option where player's names can be turned off. Here is why. As a player and trying to use the paints to blend and camouflage myself. However, there is this BIG shoot me first sign floating over my tank. So, much for camouflage... Just thinking out loud. What do you think?

    I think you are missing the point of argument. A switch button to be used in times when the other team is lacking team members i.e. player exodus. This sets the game up to end early due to not enough or no players on the enemy side. Now if a player, especially a good player, were to take up a noble act and switch sides to the "losing" (<- proper way to spell losing not loosing) team then that player should be rewarded not penalized for their defection.

    Then buyers should not be permitted to purchase hulls and turrets above their rank. Plus these buyers can MU their above rank weapons and defenses. Hence the very point of my argument. Thank you for validating it. (drops mic and walks away)

    EPIC FAILURE!!! I possess a M1 Smoky that is MU50/50. Yet, I have to wait for my rank of Colonel before I receive my M2. Yet, I've encountered players on the battlefield with the rank of Warrant Officer sporting a M2. Why's this? Because they bought a kit. KITS should be tied to the players ranks or MUs must grant the next level once 50/50 has been achieved. Just saying OP/UP efforts are an EPIC FAILURE!!!

    So, the devs added a worthless (not to mention, pain in the buttocks) "Continue" button at the end of the game... but, they can't seem to develop a button to quickly switch sides in battle.

    My grandfather used to say, "If it ain't broke, don't CENSORED with it." Look Tanki Developers. I really do appreciate what you have done in creating a MMO game. I have been playing since 2014 with my very first account being Gunny_Bates. It has been enjoyable and I have learned many different things through my additional accounts. HOWEVER, your latest updates have tossed the proverbial monkey wrench into the machine and broke it. The changes to Smoky were heart breaking. I watched as my stealth M2 (M1 w/ 50/50mu) became weak in hand to hand fights and pathetic in long distances. My K/D began to sink like the Titanic. Then the free Pro Pass week. I know what this was. Just like a drug dealer get the clients hooked then they will buy. Only it didn't work out that way. So, you added the caveat to have a Pro Pass to create a battle. Reducing the pause or inactivity timer was bad too. There are some networks that I tie into that are slow. Lately causing me to be kicked out before I have a chance to get treads on the ground. Look if you want for players to leave. You are on the fast track to that. However, if you want to achieve your hey day presence. Follow this one simple rule. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid.

    DESIGNERS - What you have done to smoky in this previous revision is nothing more than a travesty to the base weapon system. I am getting sick to death of getting owned by every other weapon system on the battlefield because the system has the killing power of nothing more than a wet limp noodle. Double digit damage at distances? REALLY??? Come on guys (and gals too), if you are going to weaken the power of one system then weaken all. I am getting tore up on the battlefield. I watch as an unskilled player with a Vulcan just sits there in the distance and tears through everything on the field. I can sit across a long battlefield (i.e. Brest) and I watch as my pellet shooter gets tore up by and M249 SAW. I am sorry but this is NOT battlefield balance. I am operating a stealth M2 (M1 50/50mu) and I watch as it now takes five hits to destroy a Wasp whereas before it only took two. It took three to four hits on a Hornet. Now seven or eight. I have watched as my K/D dropped from 1.04 to 1.01 because of the lack of game balance. I am getting really frustrated with this and it has to change.

    I served SIX years in the United States Marine Corps. I was assigned to an artillery unit in their AEMS (Artillery Electronic Maintenance Section). I know from experience that a 200lb. artillery round is just a lethal at close range as it is at Maximum Effective Range. The same can be said about 120mm round coming out of the M1A2 Abrams tank main gun. So, when I see damage dealt by the Smoky at 300-400 hp for up close and personal hits and 20 to 30 for hits across the board. I am sorry but that just doesn't jive in my book.

    Had I wanted to purchase a Thunder.... I wouldn't be here complaining about the Smoky. I own a simple garage. So, when they make an update that negatively affects my game playing experience. I think I have every right to lay down a complaint.

    I hate... NO I LOATHE ... what the designers have done to me beloved Smoky. It is the only weapon in my garage and this latest change has made it effectively a straw with spitwads. I am one of those players who engage from across the field so who felt the need to reduce the damage done over distance? A projectile if flight will cause equal levels of damage at close range as it will at distance. Basic physics boys and girls mass, acceleration, velocity any of these things ring a bell? I am angry beyond words. The designer who came up with these changes should be strung up by their toe nails.

    I would have to disagree with your claim. I have never played XP/BP for the simple fact that I don't own a rail gun nor a hornet. Yeah I do have a wasp that was an impulse buy to keep playing while my system was being micro-upgraded. No what makes you a Pro is simply this. Pick a weapon hull combination. Play only that pair. You will become very proficient. Now in response to the post prior to this one. Yes a target range and a try it before you buy it option would be great. I have another account were I was one of those players who bought everything... needless to say I didn't like most of everything.

    So what you are saying is that the world's armed forces and police forces train in live situations all the time... Really think of how silly your comment is. Static and dynamic targets would be good for the players to practice moving and shooting. All the while keeping rounds on target. Furthermore, AI doesn't have to focus on the complex. I am more than certain that in the course of a player's battlefield experience that 80% of the movements are basic level and 20% are the more complex.

    It is really easy to sit all high and mighty from your high ranking account to state practice practice practice. The problem is one's investment of time. Some people do not have the time to sit down and go through a 15 minutes of battle or some players may open a battle to fit their daily missions and players may not show. There is a multitude of reason why a trainer would be a good option. To relate it to real life. I may be looking to buy a new hand gun. I can go to the local gun store and buy one only to find that it doesn't perform quite to my liking or expectation. Now what? I am stuck with a gun that I don't like. Whereas there are several gun ranges that offer a try it before you buy it option. So, what would be really great is a try it before you buy it option in the garage. That is not at the chagrin of both the player buying the weapon and other players who would seek to destroy or may become destroyed by this new player. So, this may be where a training system may come in quite handy. "The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war." - Norman Schwarzkopf As for the computer coding... well that's what I do for both a living and a hobby. I know from experience that it would not take too much to develop a construct that could handle this option. The basic overlay already exists in the "Teaser Demo" that is on the home page. Furthermore, back in the day of video gaming. The "enemy" was often a computer driven NPC. The only reason why MMOs are so popular is because of the unpredictability of other player characters. But, if a player is using the trainer for FAMFIRE (Familiarization Fire) then this would have its weight in gold. Maybe even a battlefield with an associated charge to it like the ProPass would suffice. So, so very worth the efforts. Just food for thought.

    Okay, I do have a singular complaint regarding MINEs. At the end of the game unexploded mines go into the ether. I think that at the end of the game that unexploded mines should go back into an individual's inventory. Here is the problem that I have ran into lately. I create the battlefield, CTF. I place my mines around the flag. I grab a couple of the enemy flags to give me a one or two flag lead. Then I go and hide somewhere on the battlefield and wait for my prey... waiting... waiting... waiting...awww.... come on guys... here is a desirable battlefield ready for the picking.... waiting... 5 minutes... 3. 2. 1. Game over new battlefield here comes the players... (insert Charlie Brown arhh here or Homer's Doh, your choice). My mines my beautiful mines... all gone... Or, allow the person who placed the mine the ability to pick it back up. Just food for thought. Tell me what you think below.
