The main reason I am quitting Tanki is because all the developers care about is making money, and all I would be doing is investing time into numbers and accomplishing absolutely nothing. Just think about. It's a business, not a game. B) At least I know it's not for me, maybe others... In the whole scheme of the things, it doesn't work for me. The game requires no tangible effort, and it taught me a bad lesson about how the real world works. I am trying to bring myself together again and push Tanki to the side. I get pretty engaged in what I do, but again I know the game is not for me (and quite possibly nor for many other people out there). In real life, my social personality quite literally contrasts with my online persona. That's why.

Hammer and Wasp is a great combo, so MU your Hammer.

If you play short range too, get Twins M4. Otherwise, go for Smoky.

I am getting Firebird M3 and Lion T-A because I need a better short and medium range module, I play W/H+F battles a lot, and I find Firebird to be a game changer in a lot of battles on short range maps. I'm still getting Vulcan and Kodiak T-A, but just not this upcoming sale.

That is true, but would Vulcan be better than having Smoky and Thunder as a back-up for mid-long range battles? I haven't played with Vulcan much at a high rank, but do you think it would be better than getting Firebird M3? I'm starting to think the MU's on my Isida would deprive Firebird from its functionality, and it would be nice to have a strong stock weapon for camping---Vulcan. I prefer Smoky for a little more interactivity, but Vulcan would expel Thunder in almost any battle until I finish up its MU's. That said, I guess I can still always mix it up when I want to. My decision is leaning towards getting Vulcan.

I find W/H+F battles every time I come on RU 2, and I do play them with Firebird M2 just fine. Although, I have found Firebird M2 effective in non-MU battles so it might be better if I get the extra damage and burning effect from M3. Would it make a difference if I got it now, or I should I merely stick to what weapons I already have? I could afford Firebird M3 and still be able to get Lion T-A and MU my Isida + Viking, but just not slightly as much as I could without getting Firebird. In terms of gameplay and overall usefulness, would you find it worth getting Firebird over Vulcan considering I already have Freeze and Isida or is it still an optimal choice for battle at this rank? Here is a breakdown of which battles I tend to play (from most important to least important): 1. XP/BP (Polygon, Island, Hill, Arena, and Courage) 2. PRO battles on Arena, Island, Hill, and Polygon. 3. DM Tournaments on any map. 4. Non-format battles on Noise, Hill, Rio, Sandbox, Monte Carlo, and Serpuhov. 5. Any battles for missions.

Firebird M3 + Lion T-A or Vulcan M3 + Kodiak T-A? If I pick either option (assuming the sale has 40% discounts like last year), I can spend roughly 650k crystals on MU'ing Isida and Viking during the Tanker's Day sale. Let's hope it's good.

So you're saying I could ditch both Vulcan and Dictator (with Kodiak T-A) to instead invest in a large amount of MU's in Viking and Firebird and get Lion T-A with that? I'm assuming that Firebird and Viking is a strong combination if MU's are suggested. But, I do have some low tier turrets that've been MU'ed to roughly M3.5. Should I stick your second suggestion if I want Firebird or should I get 2 modules, Firebird M3, and Vulcan M3 for 543k? Hence an accumulation of weapons would allow me to narrow my spendings down to MU's. I have plenty of time to sort out my garage situation.

Why do I want Firebird M3? Sure, Isida can heal and Freeze can slow down tanks but I want to also have the ability to burn tanks. Why do I want Vulcan M3? I want a strong turret for camping and devastating tanks from far away. If I get Vulcan and stick to the second option I mentioned, I would get Kodiak T-A (Firebird + Railgun + Thunder) Why do I want Dictator M3? So I can be taller than everyone else on the battlefield and have the bigger advantage over others when gold boxes drop and when pesky players attack from high grounds. I will try to hide so that players don't sense my attempt to catch the gold. I know there are a lot of players out there who hate Dictator and Mammoth for being too slow and having a lack of maneuverability, but to heck with that. I love using both those hulls. I just don't know if it's worth getting Mammoth for the extra hitpoints and its massive size as opposed to just sticking with Titan, which has the pushing power everybody envies. What could be better? Maybe I could discard the whole idea of getting Dictator and get a second module instead, which would be Lion T-A (Twins + Firebird + Hammer). Any pro's out there who find the use in Dictator that you won't find with any other hull? There are officially 3 possibilities in which I could invest my crystals when the time of Tanker's Day comes.

Answer to Q1: Get Rockshaper; you will be able to play XP/BP early on, which will help you earn more crystals and save supplies. Answer to Q2: Don't MU Hornet. Viking is better for regular battles while you can still have a 2-shot light hull for XP/BP. The best gear for you would be M4 Hammer + Viking. It is OP.

Hmmm, interesting. I think I will just get M4 Viking and Isida for Tanker's Day, so I have an M4 combo for DM Tournaments. Then, for the Halloween sale I will get Vulcan and Firebird M3. I don't know if I should get Mammoth because I already have Titan, so that seems pointless.
