I have Shaft M2 and am pretty decent with it, so I can use that for the tournament if we need a Shaft. Although once again, my lightest M2 Hull is Viking which limits my usefulness. I either have to be using Hornet/Wasp M1, or I have to be one of the two Medium hulls. I love how Shaft M2 can oneshot Hornets and Wasps easy if they have no prots. :ph34r:

Advice for your article submission for the Reporter Application? Think of something as original as possible. Then think up of an even more original spin on it. Then write words that are smooth and work together, being grammatically perfect and getting every one of your points across in an easy-to-follow way. Next, format your article. Make sure you have a title banner, pictures, sections, and etc. If you want to look professional, you can have a little image for a signature. You want it to be as perfect as possible, since you are essentially starting from nothing here. :P I would say to try writing for and posting in AWC first. Its a good way to get some feedback, improve writing skills, and make the reporters notice you a bit more. ;)

My one piece of advice is think through this logically. It isn't a commitment easily taken on, isn't an easy commitment to fulfill, and isn't an easy commitment to back out of. Make sure that you really want to do it and have at least probably 1-2 hours of spare time per day that you would be willing to fill with this role. If it takes less than the allotted time, then great. If it takes more time than you have available, your're screwed. I would say don't do it until you know you have time. Wait till the summer or something, or till you have a long break, if you are dead-set on being an Editor ASAP. This way you would join while you have a lot of spare time, and could become acclimated to the environment. This would hopefully allow you to find out how long your responsibilities take and allow you to schedule your day fittingly for during school. 1st of all, I haven't seen you around in AWC, which means the Reporters don't know who you are and haven't seen a large amount of positive work. That would make your chances a lot better. I can already tell you that you will probably not be accepted unless you are a genius with words and speak gold and silver into the air. A single article from someone out of nowhere is unlikely to work. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh. Anyways, gl with the 2nd hardest school year and your other roles you applied/are applying for.

Well written, I appreciate the analogy provided. My one issue is that it has the "textblock" syndrome, something I can sympathize with since I've had happen a lot. You could try and work it down by being more concise or by adding colors or pictures. Or of course, I completely respect if these things would change the piece too much. Quality over everything else. :P

I think DoS should move over in the Domination Tournament to using Twins/Wasp (Yes ik its a nug combo but still it's not terrible at m2 since m2 wasp has respectable healthpoints). This way @KillerGnat, @LIMITFULL, or myself could use the medium hull combo if necessary. Prolly KG since he has the Ricochet-Twins module. I have 30 Twins prot and 25 Ricochet prots, but on two different modules. :P

:ph34r: Definitely Firebird M2, as everyone else said. Firebird(alt) would last you easily into the M3s with Viking M2, and Hunter M2 isn't amazing to be honest. btw, I dunno when you ranked, but grats on ranking regardless of how late it was. :P

I recognize your points, they are in tune on nearly all accounts. I would say it really once again depends on the teammates. An Isida is more likely to pursue their own agenda if they have a team that has no agenda whatsoever, either in hopes of inspiring the team to get an agenda or to become a one-man team and win despite having a clueless team. However, if an Isida has a cooperative team that knows what they were doing, they would mostly likely be more inclined to help the teammates rather than saving their skin solely. I definitely concede with the farming potential of Isida, as I purchased it at Warrant 4 with some Newspaper Contest crystals. So really I suppose the actions of an Isida player depends on the team most of all, and the personality of the user. ^_^ PD6, your move? :P :D

idk to be honest, but main guess is that they want to make Isida a better Defensive Support turret. They didn't nerf it as much as they nerfed the self-heal, hence emphasizing that its a healing turret, but a decent DPS is required to control a midfield or take out flag runners on defense. It is a little shadey of a move tbh.

I think it's hilarious to be honest how next to nobody used Isida for it's actual purpose (being a support Healing turret) and instead everyone uses it for a feature that isn't even the most useful part of the turret. :ph34r: A friend invited me to an unformatted Sandbox 1v1 and we both used Hornet/Rail. Supplies and drops were both on ofc, but we agreed to only use the drops (as some xp/bo battles are player) I have Hornet M1/ Railgun M1, and he had the M2 gear. Note that I can't be oneshotted because of my maxed Forester 15 prot, but I still had a distinct speed disadvantage. I beat him 10-6 :ph34r: I had gotten an early lead but then he flipped me once, which was total free cap and then got some decent shots.

Atlas technically lasts longer overall, because of Titan. Both last excellently though.
