Thunders and Smokies are really annoying and I actually see them a lot, especially Smokies, even in Sandbox. I will play on larger maps (Esplanade, Kungur) maybe 1/4 of the time, so it's not like I don't play on larger maps. Rails are less bothersome though. I also want to have more diverse protection in general to protect from different types of enemies. I'm not going to get any modules for now, I'll wait. Thanks everyone for the help! Should I buy anything during the sales? I don't need any equipment atm, but I'm wondering if I should get a cheap module. I play Poly CP most of the time, sometimes Rio or Sandbox battles. Most of the maps I'll play are small to medium. The only modules which are useful are Storm LGC MUd a bunch of times (27 Fire prot, some Freeze and Hammer, probably like 5-6?) , Desert (Rico 22?) and Swamp (Twins 11). I feel like I might need some Smoky or Thunder protection, as those have been really irritating recently. I'm not sure if that's necessary though, since M0 modules give only 10% which won't be much help, and M1s cost more than I'd care to spend. I'm planning on getting Mino and Atlas, which will only reinforce my close-mid range modules. Is it better to wait until I can get M2 modules for long range protection or buy cheap ones now?

Is there anything I should get? Cause I don't really need anything and I'm saving for Mino :3 but I don't like to see such good sales slip away...(Don't mind me, I'm a cheapskate). Nah Fleety, keep saving ;)

In general, Fire, Smoky, and Twins are the best M2s. I wouldn't get Vulcan - the turret itself unlocked two ranks ago (for you) and the stats aren't very good and don't improve much from M1. That said, if you're an extreme drugger, you can fire continuously for a very long time, but this is true for this turret in general. Hammer isn't horrible, but it isn't the best, either. Again, on DD it's OP, but that's for all modifications - M2 isn't super OP. It's also true that different turrets will be more difficult to fight depending on which turret/hull combo you're using. Stock Dict M2 isn't that good - if you pump maybe a few more MUs (up to maybe 15-25?) you could probably continue using it until you can get an M3 kit. Dictator in general is somewhat clumsy and more difficult to maneuver, but its height gives it an advantage with golds. Again, you don't need Firebolt (might wanna save those crys for M3s and MUing them). It will, however, allow you to play XP/BP, which is useful because you will be able to continue to be competitive even during much higher ranks, and also practically removes the discrepancy between buyers and free players - it's a lot more skill-based.

Ohh I think it's cause you MUd it to M2 so the price is literally 0 crystals for you, if you already owned Smoky from another kit the price wouldn't be taken off lol sorry Smoky can definitely last until Colonel, it's your hull that's iffy. If you wanna just buy a Smoky M2 kit cause it's cheaper, go ahead, but keep in mind that the kit will be more expensive than the hull itself. If you just want a Smoky M2 kit, I'd get Atlas - Aborigine's Hunter lets it down, and Northerner doesn't have a great module. Firebolt would still be a better option, imo, since it's a great combo - Fire can last for a very long time especially since M3 unlocks late (the earliest you can get it is Marshal, in a kit), and Wasp is the better of the M2 light hulls and with your Rail M2 allows you to play XP/BP. Fire/Wasp is also a great combo. The module is pretty good as well, Badger T-C, with Thunder, Isida and Freeze. I'd think Thunders and Isidas would come into play pretty soon, as the earliest unlocking M3s, and some Freeze protection can't hurt.

If you already have Smoky M2 don't get any Smoky kits since the price won't be taken off. Firebolt, Ram and Mino are probably the most OP non-Smoky kits - I'd get Firebolt since you'd be able to play XP/BP battles. How many crystals do you have?

The main source of your income should not be missions...It should be actually playing battles (unless you buy crystals which is another matter altogether). Missions are, I presume, intended as small rewards for tankers playing, and chains rewards for tankers playing daily. They mostly aren't time-consuming, and if you don't do missions at all it shouldn't dramatically reduce your crystal income. 2000 crystals "every now and then" for not doing much is not, in my eyes, a bad deal. ;)

And TTC was free crystals at first but it's been getting harder <_< :P Don't buy more M1s, it's not really worth it anymore. You already have Freeze M2 - I'd save for one of the later M2 kits, if you don't wanna wait to rank you could get a Hornet or Dict M2 kit (Stinger, Tornado, Simoom, Boar, etc.) which are less powerful but unlock earlier. ;) Can you hold lower rank trainings? (At some other training?) :D If he wants Hornet M2 he can get a Hornet M2 kit but I'd skip them cause Hornet M2 is of a somewhat low caliber, and he's skilled enough that he can easily get to the more OP M2 kits (Firewall, Mino, Glaze, Atlas), which are probably better investments. ;)

It may be more useful to find the times when people are able to play, but it's a good idea. ;)

Twins Mammy is probably better for both M1 and M2 since Izzy Hornet unlocks a lot earlier in both cases. I'd suggest Titan/Twins though, it doesn't have much less armor and it's faster and much more maneuverable. At M0, Twins isn't particularly good and Mammy's insufferably slow, making Izzy Hornet a better choice (you probably don't wanna be using M0s at your rank though :P)

Idk why everyone says "positive D/L" :mellow: Literally all the D/Ls are positive (above zero) except the ones which divide by zero and those don't count cause that's illegal :P What you mean is a D/L over 1 :ph34r: Pls no hate I get salty about this stuff k :ph34r: :ph34r: And to answer the question, I really don't think K/D matters much, especially in team battles. Being able to cooperate with your team and achieve whatever purpose that battle has is much more important than K/D. Also, some equipment is naturally going to have a higher K/D - an Isida/Wasp will generally have a lower K/D than Shafters. Some turrets, like Thunder, are especially suited to kill-stealing, and others aren't. That shows nothing of your skill and of your ability to do well in team battles.

I used Isida for a while - if your teammates are running around like headless chickens, then yes, it's difficult to heal them. If you have a good team that actually cooperates it's a lot easier. Wasps are also a lot more difficult to heal/attack than Titans or Mammoths - they tend to run away from you and if you can't get a stable connection you can't do anything. Ramps are hard, though, since you can't hold the connection the entire way Try Twins... <_< Around two thirds of the time the computer I use is obliging and I have 30-40 FPS, maaayybe 50 if I'm really lucky Sometimes, though, it's around 10-20, with drops (those are really annoying, it freezes, I have to wait a few seconds, everything goes crazy and I die, then respawn <_<) And Twins is horrible with lag A lot worse than Isida :ph34r:

Some people may not feel like posting continually - just because they don't post daily doesn't mean they're disloyal. That being said, it's true that there are many "members" who really aren't at all active in this clan. I think three days inactive is too strict, one week would be better. (I thought we already had one week and out but I'm not sure). DoS has promised a summer cleaning, I'm pretty sure he'll do it soon. ;) Elder is just based on rank, it doesn't really affect your position in the clan. You can't be "promoted" to Elder by virtue of being a good clan member or anything. Btw I'll try to perhaps organize a training once my irl schedule has stabilized (Most likely Monday or Wednesday around UTC 11:30 or 12 PM) And congrats Fleety and Limit on Crested!! :D :D
