Try to get good at doing calculations in your head. It will save a lot of time. Ignore teachers who say it is better to do calculations on paper. Once you get good at it, you won't make mistakes. Also, try to use calculators for time-consuming calculations. Try to do calculations in one step (if there are multiple calculations, do them all at once with parentheses etc). It is python, not phyton. (I wanted to correct this because two people in a row spelled it phyton lol)

I would judge if their lateness was justified or not. Either way, I would make sure they understand what is going on, and that they can get on track. For those who were late without justification and their parents were at fault, the parents would be asked to provide a reason, and if their reason wasn't sufficient, I would increase the tuition for the student. And if it was the fault of the student, their grades would be lowered by a percentage for a week.
