Why would I sacrifice my life for someone I only know through a game? Even if I did not know them personally, I would not even think about it unless they were relatives of mine.

I would save only myself in that case. I do not know anybody on the Forum further than that they are somebody sitting behind a computer screen somewhere in the world. In this scenario, my urge to save my own life will be greater than anybody else.
