Considering that me and Zen are in the same Reporter game clan and in HD at the same time it would probably be a biased view here lol But if you really want my opinion, here goes: In-game clan =/= Forum clan. In-games are designed to be purely battle-focused, with the chat and social aspect being hidden away on another tab. This is emphasized by the free Pro Pass for clan battles, along with the easy way to find clan members in battles to help support them. Forum clans are more about socializing with other players and supporting them in more ways than just battle. Again, take my statement with a pinch of salt, since this could be seen as a tad biased.

MajorAnnouncementXXX. Basically how to become a respected member and move up the ranks. Decided to add my opinion here. Drakon and Gnat essentially said the gist of it - you qualify for Crested, you really do, but there are multiple others who qualify as well, and we can't make them all Crested. In my opinion, this means that to be a good candidate, you have to go above and beyond the requirements. PPS showed that with excellent rhetoric and desire to help, Kaisdf showed that by helping out immensely with multiple important matters, Drakon showed it with outstanding maturity and common sense, etc. However, all of these examples I stated had a single common factor, and that is they were careful with what they said, how they said it, and when they said it. Using that knowledge, they were deemed as mature and chosen to take a Crested seat. That's my recommendation to you. If you truly are eager to take the spot, then that should help. Best of luck!

I really do support you becoming Crested, I won't lie about that. What I didn't want to hear was the sudden #PPS4Leader thing popping up simply because you stated things that needed changing and said them in a really respectable manner. Actually, to talk to him in the first place I need to travel to the salt mines hhh About PPS, just adding my two cents here. It's pretty clear from the subliminal messages I've picked up over the course of at least a month or two that he is very, very eager about becoming a leader of any sort. The actual reason for which is less clear, but it's pretty clear to everyone that PPS would be an extraordinary Crested, even if purely by judging how much effort he put into his actions. What I don't like is this talk of PPS for leader. Leadership is gained through seeing how well a person runs their part of the clan, and not only through oratory skills. That's what got a certain Austrian elected Chancellor of Germany. And before anyone even so much as mentions it, I would never intend for PPS to be compared to said Austrian. PPS is a great guy - he's chill, he knows his stuff. I'm simply stating that we should have more care in this matter. Even if as a joke.

Edits: -Very minor grammatical edits, like adding and removing several commas. -A little bit of rephrasing, like changing present tense to past tense to keep the story consistent. Interesting story you have there. The idea is fresh, so it sounds original, which I like. However, you may want to ease off the dialogue a bit. The dialogue provides a nice description of the happenings at Ebro, but it sounds rather bland when you don't have any descriptions of the surroundings to supplement it. For example, when describing the village, you could add some adjectives for the reader to see. That would add more depth to the scenery. My second and final suggestion would be to avoid overusing words and expressions. "Told" is okay, but try and mix it up, with "said" and others. As well, you don't have to just make dialogue bars without the characters "saying" the words. Ex. "insert msg here" "insert msg 2 here" "orly?" That can also get rather bland. Don't get me wrong, that format is good when used for quick conversations and quips, but for longer explanations, try to get the "x said, 'blahblahblah'" format in. Oh yes, and avoid using too many exclamation marks. That makes fictional writing, especially in a darker mood sound cheesy. Try to use more words as "exclaimed", "shocked", etc. to show surprise or wonder. Right, that does it from me, best of luck with your writing!
