Yea one of these is far more unlucky than the other.

The fall leaves crunched under Exe's feet. There wasn't much- Scratch that. There was no time left. The haze of orange leaves was almost straight out of a romantic novel. Swirls of red and dashes of yellow danced around the candles littered on the forest floor, softly landing on soon-to-be scorched ground. Exe hurried now, trying to get the ritual started. A candle here, red markings there, it would all soon be worth it. But would "soon" be enough? Exe cursed. He had exactly twenty seconds until the nether realm would be inaccessible to all, man, beast, or tree. The ritual itself would only take but a fraction of a second, but its preparation would burn up precious time. Literally. Fifteen seconds left. The candles were lit, the markings complete, the sun sliding uncontrollably past the horizon. Exe gingerly stepped into the middle of the occult mess. The markings flared. Ten seconds. All that was needed was the word itself. The lost soul took a shaky breath and conjured Magenta into his mind. Oh, how dare that usurper tell the world that he was the lord of the AWS. How dare he indeed. Five. The smoky image of Magenta burned itself into Exe's mental eye. Carving deeper, yet deeper into his soul. Unearthing long-lost memories and burrowing into thoughts of vengeance, it finally stamped itself firmly onto his heart. The target was set. Four. The candles' flames roared up suddenly, as if in applause. The fall leaves were now withering away in the heat, leaving behind an unearthly ash. Boiling, churning around the towering blaze. Three. The netherworld revealed its hideous self. Ghouls and demons danced to the screaming lights. There was no turning back now. "What shall we claim, human? What will you feed us? Answer!" Two. Exe's eyes opened. This was it. The word he needed to banish Magenta once and for all rose up from his blackening soul, writhing up, searching for his tongue. One. And it found its mark. "Noob." The demons screeched, the earth trembled, and the flames grew ever hotter, merciless in its thunder now. Amidst all the uproar, another, weaker scream could be heard. Gurgling, slowly dragged down into the depths. And suddenly, it was no more. The autumn leaves kept falling, the forest floor was as it had been for the last hundred years: Serene, calm. Exe made the sign of the cross and walked away. "Return from whence you came, Grammar Nazi."

It is quite short. The story itself actually has a pretty good flow, and the wording is really nice. Just add a little more detail - flesh out the story more and I can see a lot coming out of this. :)

I really hate how funny this is

Rishabh, you're only proving his point by replying to each post he makes without any of the feats Zac brought up. Don't let it get to you, don't reply - it's not something meaningful. Per, you've made your argument. Trolling here more won't give you a better reputation or get HD to improve just like that.

Spoke with KillerGnat on this - we'll get back to you shortly. I assume you filled out the application on the first page?

- No spelling errors - Perfect font size - Lovely format - Didn't edit spacing at all Declined. This article is great and all, but this made me and everyone else sad. Thanks for what you did in the Newspaper. While I'm at it, thanks to just about everyone else you mentioned too - most are retired already, and Flex is going too soon, but we appreciate you guys. Seriously. Nice plug btw ;)

I'm completely fine with this, feel free to chat away - just don't start (or sustain conversations with this method, for that matter) conversations by posting literally nothing is all I'm saying.

There's always next year. Please don't do this, come on now.

Yeah I was waiting for the spam to die down so that I could post it lol, sorry. Fleet's winning joke: How do people kill ink-based writing instruments? They decapitate them. Other participants' stuff - thanks again for participating!

That is some ridiculous dedication guys, good job for everyone. You deserve some hard-earned rest, seriously. Especially to those who stayed up late/early just to see this happen, or to those who aren't even in the clan who just wanted to go the extra mile...or two...three actually, let's make it three. That is awesome, no other way to put it. Thank you for bringing our dream to fruition no matter the cost! :) Speaking of rest, the goal is accomplished, the deed is done. Let's calm things down, shall we? Don't need to get closed a second time - the mods have been gracious enough to allow all of this spam from the olden days golden days to go on like this. Thank you to any mods out there btw, this was really kind of you. Finally, last but not least, the winner of that blue sphere contest I mentioned a bajillion pages back is none other than Fleety_awesome. Now I'm 105k in the hole, but I'm glad you guys participated. If you had some fun or got a kick out of that, it makes the crystal cost perfectly worth everything. besides i dont play TO anymore so that's fine and dandy Happy Birthday HD, here's to many more anniversaries like this to come. I'm not surprised that we still have the fire of spam in many of our hearts, but I had no idea that it was this intense. Cheers folks, have an awesome night...or day, timezones are a thing. Happy Birthday FJ, we're connected in more ways than just birthdays, so you more than deserve this shoutout here. Again, here's to many more anniversaries like this in the future.
