Yeah, sure... They will make their decisions now and then read our essays for fun? Need some pop-corn?
-
What does it matter? What these 2 staff members said is in contradiction. That's all.
-
Why encouraging us to write our detailed comments if you are not going to read them?

Yes Yes Yes New prices of paints, especially those which are higher than earlier - hate. I must press R all the time to see info about resistances - hate. The way the informations about protections and hull/turret as well as their MUs is displayed - hate. Product kits contain paints instead of protection modules - hate. Cedric Debono - hate. Chocolate - love. A one big bull. TO developers are amateurs. First you release an ufinished update, let people get mad and now say "let's just wait a week or two and see what they have prepared". You said the same bull before the protection-modules were released. We could avoid all this mess if you told us earlier what it is going to be. Another proof that what you are saying is bull. You promised to read all 77 pages, but cannot read 92 (there are currently 92, not 97)? BULL! People have written a lot of important stuff because you promised to read it, but now you are saying that you will not? I am disappointed. But not surprised. Dear Tanki players! All we can do to let them understand their mistakes is LEAVE TANKI ONLINE NOW. Only a significant deacrease of players and their income is what can hurt them. They simply ignore everything else. Let's play World of Tanks!

Reports on Bugs and Glitches following server downtime on 11th July 2016
Schroedinger_Cat replied to theFiringHand in Archive
3) did happen to me a lot earier too. 2) this can happen if someone closes the browser tab/window AFAIK --- Servers are totally laggy today. It sometimes ruins the matches totally, because I cannot kill anyone, I cannot capture a point or take flag, but opponents can kill me (not always, but still). -
What about you get lost, troll?
-
Everyone who is smart enough to plan his expenses was buying kits, not turrets or hulls separately. Only noobs and gizzmos were buying single turrets or hulls. Oh, and don't tell me how I shall play. I will play as I want to. If you chose the noob way, it's your problem. Don't expect all others to make the same bad choices you made. Noob.
-
If you buy irbis now, you will not get any protections. Please read the FAQ on first page. Those who had irbis earlier (including myself), keep the paint (which has no protection now) and get a protection module with exactly the same protections the old irbis had.
-
Because the paint prices ruined the product kits system, noob.
-
OK, so let's set the price to 2.000.000.000 crystals. Nobody forces you to buy it after all. Wait, Zeus paint is in Prometheus and Stormbringer kits? They will cost approximately 1.300.000.000 crystals now? Who cares, nobody forces you to buy them. Actually, nobody forces you to buy anything in this game or even to play this game. With this reasoning, TO will lose all players within weeks.
-
Nobody knows, I wouldn't expect it soon.
-
Cedric, I know it is not the most important problem of the update, but please explain us: why shall we pay 500k crystals for Zeus paint, while we were paying 250k crystals for it a few days a go and it had really strong protections included? Is it more fancy today than it was 3 days ago? For me it's just a rip off.
-
Sorry mate, but you are totally wrong. I just entered the M3 kits ranks recently and could buy many of the old product kits. Raising the prices for paints made it totally pointless. If anyone benefits the update, it's the gizzmos.
-
I wrote what they should do, not what they will do. I am 99% sure they will not listen to my advice. And they will lose dozens of players for every hour this bad update remains. I know that the new module system is different from what I expected. I just gave a few hints about another solutions. I am 99% sure they will be ignored as well. There was special stuff sold only during events already (e.g. a paint during Iron Days in Feb). So, what do you disagree with? You disagree with my ideas or you are trying to say that devs will ignore me? Either way, your post makes no sense.
-
It doesn't make any sense. That's why most players are upset and wrote 50 pages in this thread today.

The best thing you can do about all this mess is: bring back the old paints system ASAP. Then keep working on the protection modules stuff. The basic idea is good. You just need to work on prices and some issues with protection displays in battles I described earlier. You said that the modules will not be customizable. But that's if they work as they do now - all protections in modules are of the same level. What about allowing us to combine any protections for the price of their efficiency? For example, if I want protection from turrets X, Y and Z, I can put them into one module (and swap with different ones at will), but the first one (primary protection) has a cap of 50% protection (agains X), the second one (secondary protection has a cap of 42.5% (against Y) and the last one (tertiary protection) has cap of 35% protection (against Z)? Another problem is the old ("legazy") 4-turret protection modules. They are not longer available, which is unfair. I was writing about it 2 weeks ago, got no response. Many people are complaining about it now. I doubt you will change your mind on this matter, but please conisder at least selling special 4-turret protection modules (maybe with a lower cap for all, e.g. 40%) on some special occasions, like Christmas to give us just a bit more equal chances.

Yes, it is my choice to buy the paints or not. And certainly I will never buy a paint for 500k. Most players will not either. TO devs could set the price to 2 billions of crystals as well. Wouldn't you say the price is ridiculous then? The main problem is that many of the expensive paints are included in product kits, which was explained at least a few times in this topic.

I hope your words are true... But you have failed my hopes many times so far. Well, here you get another chance I am not going to dig through this topic, but somebody (a moderator, admin or helper) said that you don't have to press R all the time to see others' resistances. Well, it is not true. I do need to press R all the time to see resistances of other guys. Another thing, there is too much info. All I need to know is: do the enemies on my screen have protection against my current turret? If so, how high it is? That's all! I don't need to see other turret protections or protections of my teammates! This info could be displayed when I press TAB or go to the garrage. Also the info about models and MUs could be there. All that stuff displayed when in battle makes the essential information (protection against my turret) hard to find and it is just messing the view. What's more "funny", when I press TAB, I can see only information about resistances to my current turret... That's just the opposite way it should be implemented! When in battle, I need a quick information. I can press TAB when waiting for respawn or when no enemies are nearby and read more detailed information then. There are new icon-graphics for the protections. Old players will learn them (however, they will need some time), while it is totally messy for newcommers. It is another reason why only protection against current turret should be displayed when in battle. Also, the information should be displayed automatically, so I don't have to press R all the time. You know, I got only 2 hands - one controls arrow keys, the other controls Z/X/C/spacebar - not enough fingers/hands to control R. Making the prices for some paints higher than they used to be is ridiculous. The paints like Zeus used to be fancy looking + give protection, while now they are just fancy looking and... cost more. Zeus costs 500k crystals which is the equivalent of 2 protection modules M3 and is more than old Prometheus or Stormbringer kits, which contained Zeus paint. Where is the logic? I agree that they cannot all cost 5k, but 500k is way too much. IMO, paints should cost up to 50k, maybe 100k for some special ones. However, if kits do not contain such paints, I am OK with it, I don't need to buy any paint. However, as I wrote in one of my earlier posts (or was it in Product Kits topic?) - buying turret + hull separately costs less than buying a kit with the same turret + hull + just_fancy_looking_but_useless_paint (e.g. Raiden kit), which is totally against the idea of product kits. And IMO this is the reason why most players are unhappy. Edit: The problem with product kits must be solved ASAP. Waiting weeks for swapping paints with protection modules or replacing old kits with new ones is unacceptable. Some people (like me) are planning their expenses months earlier. The update was introduced in 1 day, not giving enough time for many players to prepare. We also need to know all the reworked product kits all at once. Waiting another 4 weeks to learn what has changed is unacceptable, especially since we got many new kits in June and we already waited for the full rotation cycle to see them all. Now you want me to wait another month to see a new cycle and then a few weeks to buy the kit I want? Morevoer, the longer the current kits remain, the more people get frustrated and more unaware players buy them losing their hard-earned crystals. What will you do when (and if) the kits and prices are reworked? Will you cancell all the product kits purchases done since today morning? I doubt. You will just make those people more angry and maybe quit the game. I that what you want?

The idea of separating protections from cosmetics is good. Just the way they did it is totally bad - they just raised prices of kits to 150-200% of what they were earlier, making kits totally not worth buying. And some prices are just ridiculous... 500k for a paint? That's 5 months of playing and not spending crystals on anything for me. I wouldn't mind it so much if those paints were not included in product kits - I don't have to buy those paints. But well, who will buy them? Even buyers will think twice if they should buy a paint for 250k or... 2 protection modules M3.
-
Yes, you might do that, because you got both paints and protections. Those who enter M3 ranks now will just save up for protection modules and will not buy paints for many months, since they give no advantage and cost same amount of crystals (or even more) as M3 turret/hull. What you will see will be: old players with 4-protection modules and many paints and new players with green paint. Yes, you might be happy about the update.
-
Best joke today! :D:D:D You talk about "flexibility" and "aesthetic customization". Let me explain in to others, because you will obviously refuse to even try to understand my point of view. We have to pay about 150-200% of the old kits prices to get similar stuff. We cannot buy "protection elements" (e.g. anti-thunder, atni-isida) separately and combine them at will in "protection modules", which I expected. We can only buy preset modules. I can't see any flexibility here. And when it comes to "easthetics", well... We must pay 500k for some paints, which is more than the old kits (turret + hull + paint) with those paints. And the old paints in old kits had some protections, while the current paints have none. Yeah, I can see the thousands of players paying 500k crystals for paints, which improve their aesthetics and are basically... useless. You know, I worked for 5 months, since WO5 rank till Brigadier rank to earn 500k crystals. No way I will spend it on a useless paint which costs 500k, 300k or even 100k. I might consider buying a paint for 50k when I got 6 M3 hulls and 9 M3 turrets. So, we will see newcommers playing with green paint until generalissimo rank. That's how the new update improves aesthetics.
-
I will not pay a penny for this game.

You clearly suck at maths. the number you wrote is 0.0000...thousand_zeroes_here_in_total...0001.

A message to moderator(s): I have noticed, that you are removing some posts (not mine). Removing posts which do not violate any forum rules, but present how ridiculous update-supporters' arguments are, will not stop our anger about the update.
