    Well, sounds interesting but it depends on whether you are already scoped in or not. If you are not scoped and you have charged your shaft then you have these time to kill times in seconds for an M4 mammoth with an M4 shaft: Normal shaft snipe shot + 2 arcade shot | M2 alt. shaft snipe shot + 1 arcade shot Charge: 4 sec. 8 sec. Scope exit delay: 0.5 sec. 0.5 sec. Arcade shot reload: 2*2.1 sec = 4.2 sec 2.1 sec. Sum TTK: 8.7 sec 10.6 sec. So an unaltered shaft is faster. If you are already scoped in/charged up then the M2 alt is faster of course. On the other side needing more shots means also that it is more likely to miss one. But when we see that the unaltered version is even better for heavy hulls then I think the M2 alt. needs to be adjusted.

    Does the Shaft M2 alteration (Heavy Capacitors) make any sense at the moment? Prior to the shaft update its job was to oneshot medium tanks (with 6 sec. charge) and now the normal shaft can do that (4 sec. charge). Shaft M4 has 3k dmg. so the m2 alt has 3.9k, so it is not able to oneshot an M4 Mammoth despite having to wait for an 8 sec. charge and an 8 sec. reload. If I look at the numbers it seems to me that the normal shaft is better.

  10. Rail M2 alt is already strong enough. Just adding +30 impact force would make it have a higher impact force than Magnum. This would make it somehow more realistic (compared to the faster reload of the unaltered railgun), but there needs to be a balance as well. I bet the impact force is just too high for TO's accepted impact force range and there would be a need for a longer reload then as well.
  11. He thinks it should be this way that Hornet should always have more protection than Wasp. At the moment it's the other way around, because M2 Wasp is unlocked at a later rank than M2 Hornet.

    No I didn't checked that stats. I report stats in a part-time job and if one observe something over a longer time you get a statistical feeling for it without having to check the stats. In your stats link you can also see that roughly the average # players online is 30k. You can see the decline by that there is no EN8 right now. And most importantly I can also see that EN2 (one of the more populated EN servers) lacks battle diversity really bad now. I think the overall activity is this time mainly influenced by a decline of the players' average session duration and secondary by the # of active players. You can also see the lack of activity by the countermeasures of TO for it, as the daily gifts for Premium are granted independently from rank, which can give new players the opportunity to level really quickly. The extension of the maximum rank brackets is another sign for it. The matchmaking system itself is a sign for it as well, because all open/starting battles are concentrated to a very few within a short period of time. Thank you for your advices. But from time to time I think by myself, if I haven't played here too much already. If I play, then Pro / "Custom" Pass is not an option, but a must. If missions become harder to achieve, I might drop the last mission I submit everyday as well, if it's not profitable anymore. Devs should care for the line between tedious crystal gathering and fun. And fun is not to see imbalanced battles all the time. By the way, imho normal battles are more imbalanced than Pro battles, when you look at the result pages.
  14. So let's presume random people are in a random map together. Will we then have the possibility to Vote to choose a map? If the majority of the players vote for a proposed one, then the round will be finished and the map that was voted will come next.

    It's alarming when we look at the # players online. It used to be around 45-50k the past months and now it seems to be around 30k. TO now tries to shift the same income revenue on a smaller # of players, which will raise the inequality of Tankers' equipment even more. If the non-pro mission update is not replaced by a mission update that enables achieving missions in pro battles which are bound to a set of more elaborated conditions and if the downgrading of the player wish to play a favorite type of battle continues, it will become even worse.

    Yes you are right, this alteration is not recommendable, because the damage cut just too strong. But it's still funny how big the healing potential of an M4 Isida with this alteration and with an DD is: It can fully heal 5 M4 Mammoths nonstop by just one magazine :lol:

    If these alterations are from different modification levels then yes. If you mean i.e. the 2 Twins alterations that are from the M1 field, then you can only equip one of them.

    Actually it would be interesting to see another test that CooperO conducted. Imho Isida is OP now and Firebird is still OP. Maybe it will be the better time for the test after they buff Freeze :P

    Great, very much appreciated! :) If you don't mind this question, before this update was it necessary to hit enemy tanks as well in order to have an increase in the probability to get a critical shot, or was it sufficient to shoot into a wall to let it increase?

    Oh so it was only a bug fixing and no wiki parameter change to the Weak damage % and Range of max damage. Sorry I misunderstood Hazel then. Thank you for the information! I got some other points for the wiki: Vulcan's wiki: range of max dmg. shows this: M0: "50/center>" and M1: "56.47" What is the point of showing Firebird's Heating rate and burning duration, if there is no burning damage parameter displayed? Smoky Wiki: Please describe the new parameters "initial critical chance (%)" and "Minimal critical chance (%)"

    As you have M1 (10/10) = M2 Magnum, you have an average damage of 1379. In general you will inflict damage of around this number when you directly hit someone. This means that you will need 2.2 shots => 3 shots to kill a heavy M2 hull. If you compare Magnum's average damage with the hull protection (all on 0/10 or 0/20), you can remember it this way: light hulls: 2 shots medium hulls: 2 shots heavy hulls: 3 shots
