Just relax :) Riddler asked about M3 alterations, so that what I wrote is only applied on the originally planned M3 alterations and not for the M0-M2 alterations.

I wonder what kind of mechanic that they could implement to prevent having too big domination of one team spawn killing the other, because of the overdrives... Or another question which may be linked to this, do you expect that the coming overdrives will cause more lopsided battles than the Overdrive battles that we see right now, though less Overdrives will be shareable?

I like to equip the M2 alt. and make my gun to a trollsmoky :) The lack of the critical shot is hurting, but it's simply fun to use. I think it's especially useful in some specific maps like Bridges where you can shoot the drifty Viking of the running flagger off the bridges :lol:

The last message from the devs about them was saying that they want to remove them, because the Overdrives will come instead of them.

It can deactivate the supplies of Dictator's and his friends' overdrive drugs... at least. But as austen_pierce said, luckily most of the nondrug battles are without ODs. I consider me more as a nondrugger than as a drugger, but I still perceive drug+OD battles as better balanced than nondrug+ODs battles.

I'm sorry to disagree with you, but it's not at all working like that :) The splash damage is dependent on the original shot damage. First you have the max. damage and the min. damage. There is a Gauss curve damage probability (it's random) between these two value borders and the average dmg. is the value that is the most probable damage value. So for M4 Magnum you have an average of 1745. Let's assume you will do average damage and directly hit an enemy tank and there is also another tank within the radius of 1m distance to impact point. In this case you will deal 1745 damage to each of those tanks (first one by direct hit and 2nd by 100 % splash damage. Every splash turret deals 100% splash damage of the initial direct shot damage if an enemy is within the Max splash damage radius (here 1m). If a tank is 15 m away from the Magnum impact point, he will suffer 5% (its weak splash damage value) of the original shot damage, in our case the avg. dmg., 1745*5%= 87. The more distant the tank is from the impact point the less is the damage value.

Only in case the Overdrives are activated... Remember that the MM polygon battles will have 3 CPs to make the fund growth equal to other maps ;)

Not all direct magnum hits on a wasp in nondrug battles lead to one-shot kills, in fact the average is no one-shot kill. It all depends on the random damage output and the big difference between Magnum's min. and max. damage. Nevertheless, Magnum is OP. For distant shots the splash radius is ok. Magnum is dependent on that for distances as the impact spots with increasing shooting power and same angle have more distance from each other. But yes, it is too wide when it's about shots that are hitting objects some meters away.

At latest you should get the crys with the next server restart. Has there been a server update in the mean time?

Nothing, you still got your crys. Only the display showed 0 crys gain, but the display was wrong.

They could balance it by having a longer activation time and shorter cooldown time than the shareable overdrives. But anyway, I still think that some Overdrives are intentionally weaker than others, because the parameters of a certain hull are worse (as it is with Dictator) compared to them of other hulls.

Nobody knows that. They said there will be multiple tests before the matchmaking will be introduced permanently. I personally wouldn't expect it to happen before November.

Sounds like fantasy to me :lol: I don't think that it will be possible to share the bomb OD and throw a bomb by using Viking. ... and Wasps throwing bombs.

There are actually only a few Overdrives that have the ability to share it. I understood that they will work in this way: Hornet: Wallhack and see enemy hitpoints shared for whole team Dictator: Fulldrug shared within radius at activation Titan: Resistance shared within radius as long as it is active (I assume it's not necessary to be in the radius when it was activated) Hunter: Deactivating supplies for enemies within radius at activation, so kinda negative sharing ;) And the other Overdrives are not sharing anything.

Sounds reasonable, but let's not forget that the see-through walls part and see enemy hitpoints is applied to the whole allied team (probably over the whole map) and it will deactivate all enemy module resistances for the Hornet. Anyway, the balance is dependent on parameters, like the activation time.

Ah I know, you mean this livestream from May and check it from 14:40 on, where he talked about that the pro pass might go. Yep, they announced the decision that it will go at end of June in the Vlog. Tbh, I didn't get Hazel's reasons for the removal, but I understand that the implementation of MM together with the keeping of a pro pass would have upset a lot of tankers.

Well I think the pro pass will be removed for sure. They said this in the Vlog 138 and I haven't heard of any plan changes in the mean time. It would be really harsh if they take away the missions from the pro battles, keep the pro pass and remove the battle list of normal games...
