Alterations page: The Railgun M1 alt. got mixed up with Vulcans M1 alt (probably coz of the same disadvantages ;)). Please correct the icon and the advantage. I love the new page setup ^_^

Actually I do agree that Shaft is better than an average turret, but I wouldn't call it very OP. Yes, it does kill a Viking in oneshot, but it has to load a long time before to do so. In general there are others that hurt the balance more :ph34r: I don't agree with you on using scope mode at close range though, because you are far more flexible with arcade and arcade dps is better than sniper dps. Thank you with your remark about the alteration. I noticed that the damage increase is higher than the reload increase (I always thought it was the other way around :mellow:), which doesn't make sense, because a longer reload and higher damage per shot generally means it is for bigger distances and offers worse dps numbers, but this is not the case here. Umm... no... Magnum wasn't changed yet. Edit: Did you include critical hits into your Smoky dps calculation?

The labels "FOV max (deg)" and "FOV min (deg)" in the parameter table of the Shaft page need to be switched around, so that they fit to the values. By the way, Great job on describing the parameters! I never understood the bush range and FOV before :ph34r:

Well at least Smoky has a slightly better dps than Shaft in arcade mode... but a worse one for distant shots -_-

Yes I did (and those games in which I was playing after I joined and the initial round ended). Before I answered I read again to check how you phrased it and voted accordingly. Yepp, no problem. We're all human ^_^ Long live the prejudices :P ;) Just have a look on it and give it a try.

Very good poll! And yes, CP is the most balanced mode. I find blowout games more frequently after the two updates. MM will help with the imbalances through uneven team numbers and mults, but I doubt that this will be sufficient to balance out the Overdrives. You can report cheater i.e. in the chat tab for game violations. and battle mods will then check them out.

Yep, that's correct. Sniper mode is independent from range and deals a constant damage (as long as you as compare it with shots of the same charge level). The arcade mode damage is random (gauss curve damage values between min. and max damage) and is depending on range, which means that i.e. shooting past the range of min. damage deals normally 50% of the average of min. and max. damage. hahaha nice one guys xD

In my opinion the problem is that right now some crucial updates are missing in order to balance things out: Magnum nerf or mechanic change Auto-translated battle chat commands/radio Restriction of MUs depending on rank A mechanic to prevent excessive domination caused by overdrives (esp. in nondrug battles) In addition, some updates caused in sum a lot higher drug rate than before. Drugging is considered as fun, because one is significantly stronger than the others. But if nearly all drug (and the cooldown time is filled up with overdrive drugs) then it gives not more fun. Having no drug activated is an irregular condition and I doubt that this is in line with the original intent of the boosters. The devs purpose with the repair kit update was to weaken all-time druggers in order to help new, inexperienced players. Matchmaking battles are made for those players too. I really hope this drug situation in standard battles will get changed in favor for casual gamers.

Well, if the chat freezes, the only option is to refresh the game (as soon as it happens). I have heard of the chat freeze bug before, as a chat mod was also affected from it. Apparently it first occurred when the unified battle list was implemented. If the whole lobby freezes, then it has something to do with flash and browsers, I think the best workaround is to click on the profile bar, return to the game and it should work again.

It's too bad that some record holders are not submitting their records here, otherwise a number of records would be broken.

Imho a better balance and a fair gameplay is the most urgent issue to deal with, especially to fix the problems caused by the introduction of Overdrives. Ah thanks a lot :) Yep the emotion expessions could be implemented alongside with the auto-translated battle radio, which is also a much needed element.

Yes, you are probably right, that it needs some more balance restrictions. One could remove the laser and in return increase the salvo reload by +100%. A longer reload time would make it more to a long-range weapon. It was already one from its principles, but it has practical restrictions to be one because of the difficult aim and the possibility of enemies to hide. In addition, removing the laser and keeping it for Shaft lets Striker differentiate from Shaft a bit.

In my opinion the laser is more of a disadvantage than to be an advantage. Full ack. The damage decrease should be reduced to make it useful. In addition to the current situation, Viking's overdrive makes the whole advantage of the alteration useless and just keeps the disadvantage during its activation time -_-

+25% Boost is ridiculous :P it must have at least +100 %, but rather more and in overall significantly longer activation times.. Yes, that seems to be case, but what exactly makes it easier to kill them? The devs said, that the Overdrive is not charging faster while the Overdrive is in its activation period (I would expect that this is applied to both, the own OD fulldrug and the shared OD fulldrug). I think that the combination of shareable ODs together with an imbalance in team sizes is often the death for the balance of a round. Hopefully the Matchmaking can improve the team size imbalances.
