I like Dictator. It's got good health and a great Overdrive, but the speed isn't exactly suited for a short ranged turret like Firebird, unless I use a Speed Boost. Freeze is different because it slows enemies down. I want Hunter because it's a middle ground between Wasp and Dictator. It's faster than Dictator, and has more HP than Wasp (Hunter M2 has 600 more HP than Wasp M2). Plus, the Overdrive can work in synergy with Firebird's burn, because enemies are temporarily helpless and can't use an RK. Thanks for reminding me about Tankers Day. It's about 5 weeks away, which gives me more time to save up on crystals (I have ~62k right now). During Tankers Day, I can buy Hunter M2 and Compact Fuel Tanks on sale, which I'm predicting to be 50% off.

Is Hunter M2 a good fit with my 9/10 Firebird M1? I plan at some point to also buy the Compact Fuel Tanks alt, as it's strong and seems to fit perfectly with Hunter's Overdrive. Problem is, I'm not sure if I want to replace Wasp with it. My Wasp is M1 8/10, but I still die a lot. This might be bc people drug a lot and I pretty much only play the mobile version lately, but idk. I played a Hill CTF PRO Battle with my cousin and some random people with my Fire/Wasp, but my K/D was almost perfectly 1.00 in that battle. In MM, I get lower K/Ds. (If it matters, modules I use are Firebird 20%, Railgun 21%, Gauss 20%.) I'm apprehensive because I've already sunk so many crystals into MUing my Wasp. I've stopped recently because M2 is all the way at Colonel and I don't really need to rush.

First people that come to mind are mosey8 and braddew. They were my irl friends from church, and both of them showed me Tanki Online back in 2011, when I was 9. This was before the Friends system, so I never saw them in a battle. One day, years later, I was in a battle on a new account I had made (not the original one I made, that's a long story that I don't want to get into). I was playing, and then I saw braddew. I wanted to tell him that it was me even though I was on another account. What makes me sad is that there was no way to do so. I was going through a day-long chat ban for Flooding, so I couldn't speak in the chat. Goes without saying that I never saw them again in Tanki. Both are WO4s, and mosey8 is r_mosey80 now. braddew has played for 0.1 hours since the ratings page was introduced though. Fast forward to 2012, I was sitting in the chat. I saw this person named silverstream, and I started talking with them because we were both fans of the Warriors book series (I knew this because of their username, because that's a character's name). We talked for a little while, and we were friends. Still, this was before the invention of the friends system, so to see some random person in the chat again is about as likely as doing that on Omegle. r_silverstream0 is a Sergeant-Major. -------- I think changes to the game have made it harder to find people. The chat is now Master Sergeant and up, and it's basically just Legends talking about random stuff. When you had to be a Private, there were a lot of rulebreakers for sure, but you had just about anyone chatting. Matchmaking has also slowed down Battle Chats. There are only 7 minutes per battle, so it's rushed to finish the goal first and no conversations can really be had. I think that the devs have kind of forgotten that online games like Tanki have a surprisingly large social aspect, and MM, having to click onto the chat, and having to be a Master Sergeant before you can even go onto the chat prevents that.

Hopefully I can complete this one. One of the combinations I main is Gauss/Dictator, so this is perfect.

I'm not discrediting anything that anyone has said, but sometimes battles just go poorly. The other day, I was in a battle where I had the lowest rank (First Lieutenant), and the nearest rank was Major. The enemy team had the highest ranked person, a Marshal, with M3 Railgun and M3 Wasp. With my Gauss/Dictator M2, I struggled to get a kill on any enemy, because everyone was drugging and the map isn't great for Gauss users (Aleksandrovsk) However, I got plenty of assists, and so I got plenty of points and Crystals. I did get a couple kills, but self-destructing took those kills off the scoreboard. I think to find mults, it's essential to keep an eye on that player (to see if they actually play) and their score. Even with M0s, it's easy to get 5 points from assisting in kills.

Isida Alteration idea: Isida gets its self-healing back, but with 50% less energy to use. Like Firebird's Compact Fuel Tanks, it runs out more quickly, but it has an added ability

Are you talking about the K/D in battles or the K/D in the Ratings page?

I don't get Containers quick enough to open them more often than one by one. However, the one time I bought the Battle Pass, I immediately earned 15 Containers. I opened them one by one, and I got one mor Common than Uncommon, and got my first Legendary. I've never opened 5 or 15 in one go, so idk.

The problem with Vulcan is that it ignites another tank so easily, just touch someone and they burn for a long time.

Vulcan's Incendiary Band alteration needs a nerf. Maybe it's because the Vulcans in MM are DD-happy, but the Incendiary Band burns too long and hot. It is as deadly as a Firebird with Compact Fuel Tanks. The Firebirds are not as much as an issue to deal with, because you can hurry out of there and pick up a supply box or use something from your stash. Vulcans, on the other hand, have a very long range, making them a lot less escapable. Also, they mostly use hulls like Titan or Dictator or Mammoth, making them a more OP Firebird. Not only that, but it's easier to slap on a DA, Repair Kit, and get an Isida to constantly keep you from dying. So what should be done about this? I propose we nerf the Incendiary Band's burning, and make it like an Alteration-free Firebird, because the point of the Compact Fuel Tanks is to enhance Firebird's burning, and the point of the Incendiary Band is to give it an all new ability.

I don't use Viking that often, but its Overdrive is a slow yet very strong one. There have been a couple times where I destroyed someone right when they just started their Overdrive. It's satisfying in an evil way and also a relief.

While Tanki's golden age /may/ have passed ,(I definitely agree that this game was better in the past, but still good today.) it was just that, a golden age. It is not /dead/, there are still a lot of players, whether MM or PRO battles. I want to go over some examples of "dead" games. First example is diep.io. This is one of those .io games that got Uber popular from gaming channels back in 2016 or so, and its popularity has since petered out, despite still attracting players to this day. diep.io community hubs, like /r/diepio, constantly say "UGGHHHHH DIEP IS DEAD", but it still pulls in a few thousand players at one time. This is deader than Tanki, but it's not dead because it still has dedicated players, like Tanki. Mario Kart Wii is my second example. I played this heavily from 2009-2013, it was the other game I played that wasn't Tanki Online. When Mario Kart 7, 8, and 8 Deluxe came, it wasn't a good sign for the game and it's community. When Nintendo killed the Nintendo WFC system, everyone thought it was a death sentence for the game. But, some ingenious people created Wiimmfi, basically Nintendo WFC back from the dead. Now, 12 years after the game's release, there are still online players and a thriving community. Now, I'm not saying drastic measures have to be done to Tanki like was done to Mario Kart Wii, but what I'm saying is that no game is truly dead. There will always be people playing Tanki, and there is also GTanks if you want to play a remake of Tanki in its very early form.

Before the July Challenge, I got Ancient Dragon from one of my first Containers on my primary alt account. I've never gotten an Exotic on any account, but I did get 2 Epics and a Legendary on this account so /shrug
