TTK, I had joined HD just before moving from Sergeant Major to a Warrant Officer 1. As I think about this, the Private to Sergeant Major is really someone's first month or two (if active), as they are just getting into the game. I didn't even hear about clans and getting into the Forum until that point, when DoS graciously came along and looked at my application. Personally, reflecting back, I think the Warrant Officer stage is really the 'lower-ranked' area - just getting M1s and MU-ing equipment and understanding some game play and personal tactics. Warrant Officer stage is from 57k to 192k experience. That's a long run for the average beginner. To introduce at the Sergeant levels is probably overkill. WALK before you JOG, before you RUN...? I dunno. Just throwing in my 2 cents... :unsure: :wacko: :blink:

Greetings Brothers & Sisters In Arms...! Just ranked up to Third Lieutenant, and got my first diamond!!! Leaving the squares of WO behind. Now if I just knew how to make a spoiler and paste in the screen print, I would. Just in case I wasn't the only one who liked it!

While Rules are being quoted: #3: Respect Others. In this clan, we are respectful to each other and to other clan's members. We are also respectful to random players. Insulting, Taunting, Mocking, and other forms of disrespect will be punished by a warning, then a kick. (opting for dragon green color here, since DoS is trying a new color) To my clan mates: I have no problems with anyone (I truly hope that I haven't upset anyone either, as that was not any intent), and have enjoyed battles with a few of the people here, and some of the frequent posters. I joined the clan (albeit not long ago, before I was WO1, a total noob) to meet people, exchange ideas on playing styles, learn more about the game, and possibly other people, cultures and countries. Honestly, staying up to date on these clan pages the past week or two has been a disappointment to me. Post after post complaints. There has been some useful banter within, but not like a month ago. Games are supposed to be fun ... I'm happy to be killed, although I much prefer to blow up other people. I am happy to be called a noob - whether because I truly am, or because we should be in a fun and safe environment (especially within our clan pages) and whoever is dishing it, can also take it when I say something back in fun. I know that I possess no authority in this clan, but I'd like to say I agree with Zenith's request to delete or remove some or all of the postings that relate to what I'll call Anti-HappyDragons-Gate. I puts the clan into disrepute with any others who can openly read the posts. I know I've said this via PM (though no responses to date) to some, it's something I grew up with - "Take a bite of humble pie". What does it mean, just swallow the crap that someone is saying, and move on. If you had a hand in it, just say sorry. When they point the finger next and try to "rile things up", just stay quiet and leave it alone. I honestly see nothing good coming out of all the posts. If someone is trying to make a point, I'm not sure if it is getting made. (or at least, if one person didn't like someone else, or someone felt unfairly accused, I didn't need to read it 20 times - the point was made much earlier, so the posts can stop) (opting for fire breathing red color here) Realizing this is my second post for the day, I will stop and not say anything else. Oh, except please, dear others from outside the clan or from other clans. Yes, I might read some of the posts and possibly find some of them humorous, but it is not helping. I believe they 'stoke the fires'... Be good neighbors of this social community, it comes back to you in life in the form of karma. Peace be with you all.

Here I am ... just not able to join many of the same battles - due to rank differential. But I'm working on it - desperately trying to move out of the boxes and into the diamonds, before I can hit those beautiful stars..!

I was going to be sad I didn't get asked, but then as I was looking around and wondering why I couldn't reply to posts or like posts as I was reading - I noticed that my computer had kicked me out of the account. Hey Clan! Sorry I've been silent for a few days - semi-vacation trip... Have been reading along some of the comments. No one asked for my 2 cents on "the incident", but similar versions have strung before that are what I'd say - it's just a game, have fun, play nice with your friends (clan mates). You know, emails + blog posts are hard. I can be feeling 1 way and write something I think is funny, but then someone comes from a hard day and people yelling and reads it and gets defensive / offended. Don't assume the worst. AssUMe I hear was written that way for a reason..? Work hard, play hard, have fun. RE the Crested changes and Kicks - it is was it is, it shall be the way it is supposed to be. I'm good with the clan's decisions, and still have yet to get to know more people. But you, we, are all good. I know that. And I "really" look forward to a war, or at the least, playing with you guys & girls in regular games. Pls friend me if we aren't already 'connected'. Funny, was looking up Google - "what do you call a group of dragons". Rage / Tatsu (Japanese) / Wing / Flight / Clan (appropriate!) / Swarm / Hive / Herd / Thunder / Weyr.But my favorite, and DoS, I'm curious if this is where you came up with your name, is a Storm of Dragons... Things that make you go hmmm. Is there a 'standard' way to greet everyone, rather than just Hey y'all?!? Hey all!! Looking back, I joined Tanki Online April 1st, because my computer wasn't letting my play Agar.IO and I needed a distraction to help me procrastinate from real life. Came into Happy Dragons June 1st as a Sergeant-Major, almost WO1, choosing the clan because Dragon of Storms was just an awesome person, giving some ideas on equipment and moving along in the game, and quick to respond. Just ranked up last night to Warrant Officer 4, and bought my beloved Twins @ M1. Though sort of missing playing with the Ricochet, which I've been using for the past 4 weeks...we'll see how it feels after a week or so back on Twins. Love the clan, the posts, meeting folks here and in the game, and even some of their friends. Loads of fun! Thanks to everyone!! "If" I've got this right, Cali is 3 hrs behind NY, so 7 hrs behind UTC. 12:30 UTC is 5:30am for you. Probably too early! 21:00 UTC is 2pm. Good if you can access a computer from school or work at that time..!

If you happen to be in North America (say NYC, NY) which is currently on Eastern DAYLIGHT Timezone, we are 4 hours behind UTC+0. Once Fall hits and we are off Daylight Savings Time, then we are 5 hours behind UTC+0. So if someone says 12:00 UTC - that is Noon in Europe, or 8AM EDT for NYC / Miami / Toronto / Montreal / etc. If it says 21:00 UTC - that is 9pm across the pond, or 5PM EDT. Hope that helps. I also hope I have it right, since I've only been trying to figure it out for a month..!! :P
