It's a cumulative reward (re read the first post). If you reach 500☆ you will have 1+2+3+4+5=15 containers. And if you earn 200 more ☆ (500+200 = 700) you will get the animated paint on top of your previously 15 earned containers.

lol, no. If you do nothing the star count will stay where you stopped. Once you reach 100 stars you get your container and that's it. There is no repetition of the reward per day. It's a one time milestone.

Not everybody has a life like you, check the top 100 xp/crystals here! and it's only Monday :blink: They would get the prize without changing their play time or even noticing it. :blink: As for me I'm on holiday away from the computer, so... B)

Stars are saved till the end of the event. And at each milestone you will get the reward automatically. When you reach 100 stars — 1 container; When you reach 200 stars — 2 containers; When you reach 300 stars — 3 containers; When you reach 400 stars — 4 containers; When you reach 500 stars — 5 containers; When you reach 700 stars — animated paint “Fall leaves This mean if you reach 400 stars you will get 1+2+3+4 = 10 containers in total. If you reach 700 stars you will get the animated paint “Fall leaves" and would have accumulated 15 containers.

As a matter of fact, other tanker (and I) actually had this kind of idea (check the I&S and the war topics) to use the star system from the war as an alternative of the Kills tiers in Crazy Weekend. Others suggested to have it permanently in order to get more out of TO. Obviously we all did not mention the Star Pass and the fact id would be a full week event. So yes this type of event is easy and obvious to think about even by random players. I suppose we should all be very optimistic about any event as it is without question nicer than no event at all. Additionally it won't be interesting if it was all the time a stroll in the park to get the big prize, It is true that this time TO put the bar quite high, but it is a nice paint though. Furthermore the event as a whole offer more than the stars tiers so you should be able to enjoy a part of it.
