Whats your miserable moment in tanki online?
InfamatiEtObliterati replied to Raakin-The-Great in Archive
Tip: If your connection dies on you and there are less than 2 minutes left on the timer, don't refresh. You'll be in the game for just as long for the game to finish, and you'll get your reward. PS: Kinda late, just saw this topic :P -
This babe soon

I'm not saying you can't complain, I'm saying you shouldn't. The Russians just happened to have available helpers to pull it off, unlike the English team. And by the way, despite the fact that they did have a stream, they were better off without having one. The quality of it was unacceptable under normal circumstances, the spectator had such an unstable connection that they had to stop the stream several times, and when the spectator wasn't lagging, he was staying in one spot mostly (you could say he was AFK for the most part) and not changing his camera view even if nothing was going on in that particular view so you couldn't see anything of what's going on in the battle which is honestly more frustrating than not having a stream at all. And honestly, I was so irritated that I stopped watching the game mid-way and just found out the final result from a friend but I didn't complain did I? I knew they were under immense stress and they were doing the best they could.

May I remind you that this is still a game. And those eSport helpers are adults, with responsibilities and an actual life. They're not sitting afront of their computers all day just in case the match gets unexpectedly moved up a day. Furthermore, they didn't put requirements just for kicks, if the applicant has a rough Karma maybe he/she will curse during a live broadcast, watched mostly by children, or, if the applicant is uninformed with the general vicinity of eSports then logically speaking he/she will have no idea what they're talking about during the game. And the argument about being "absolutely available at any time" is nonsense. There's a match schedule set for them to follow, not like they asked for it to be moved up. When there's a set time for a match and they miss it, then you can complain about their incompetence.

Are servers down? 'Cause there hasn't been an official statement saying they are (right?) And I checked http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com which says they're up. And if they're down, why? EDIT: I just read this topic, where a lot of players are reporting this yet no one seems to know the exact reason behind it. So my question still stands.
-
Oh yeah, I wasn't sure, I probably mixed things up 'cause both versions have (almost) the same general layout (where the high hill is located, the cemetery, the haunted village and other small details). Although I have to admit I completely forgot that last year's map had all four modes and not just DM.
-
Your topic (based on what you said) is about server incompetence. So your argument on how this is the "worst Halloween ever" is irrelevant. This is Halloween is actually noticeably better than last year's (and the year before that), with regard to sales percentage and other promotions.
-
Click this first. Then this. This will automatically guide you to a random Halloween map. I'm pretty sure it's the same map as last year (and the year before as I recall).

Crazy Weekend 5 and double battle funds!
InfamatiEtObliterati replied to r_Nives5 in Contests Archive
I guess :P I still could've revised my plan better if I had known a totally unexpected, random and untimely sale would pop-up. Aaaaanyway, don't wanna kill the buzz. Cool sales, looking forward to the x2 battle funds (4x for me ) -
Crazy Weekend 5 and double battle funds!

This was literally yesterday. Why Tanki? Why?! -
Cool concept. However, wouldn't certain turrets have some sort of advantage over others in certain scenarios? Say, Magnum, for example, has an overwhelming damage per shot, and can often one shot a Viking with DP. So this person can hide behind a wall and shoot/kill everybody. Also, rounds would end pretty quickly considering each player has one life only. If not, players would camp each other out and that would eventually bore players who had already died into leaving the game. Anyway, regardless of these fixable issues, I would most certainly try this mode out. It sounds pretty fun and challenging and would definitely make players more careful with their lives!

[Forum Game] Conspiracy Theories
InfamatiEtObliterati replied to InfamatiEtObliterati in [Forum Game] Conspiracy Theories Forum Games
So, you basically lay out a silly conspiracy whether it's Tanki-related or not. Note: Please refrain from posting offensive conspiracies or any controversial content that may contravene with the rules of the game. I'll start. Tanki Online is a recruitment agency to train every-day-civilians on how to use heavy artillery and tank machinery for the upcoming war against the soon-arriving aliens. P.S: Adding proof is optional -
Good luck to everyone!

On my older account, I legit changed more than 11 times (yes, I spent 1.1M+ crystals on nicknames) in the span of two years. You're just speaking for yourself, presumably 'cause you don't change your nickname as much as others so you have little regard to it. To others, such as myself, this feature is more important than you think it is.
-
It's cool and all, but why can't we purchase the pass for crystals? Some of us actually like changing our nicknames every once in a while and we shan't be forced to pay real money to do so.

I'm aware there are no valid specifics on the new OD's, but if you're planning on having a Q/A when you acquire said specifics, please consider the following question; will the OD's get enhanced depending on the modification of the hull? For example, will Mammoth's invincibility last longer when a tanker obtains its next modification/MU's it? And if so, will the difference become anything of significance?

I love how the band was playing 'Green Day - Wake me up when December ends' at some point. :D

Magnums in the red base in Noise. Man they're annoying.

Great review, kudos. Also, you might wanna edit the kit's price, it's 453 780 crystals instead of 463 780 crystals (my apologies if this information is incorrect, I got it from the Wiki.)

Ranked: Top 10 Stereotypes in Tanki that Need to Die

Oh, pardon me then. :P It's just that your reply came in between a discussion the gent and I were having, he also disagreed with my post so I couldn't help but figure. -

Everyone has his/ her own favourite turret that they excel on. So surely they can round up impressive tactics and strong points with those turrets. Yours is Shaft, and I respect that. I believe some players have mistaken the intentions of my reply. Belittling Shaft wasn't my aim, the 'example' I've given exists in a perfect world where all is fair and there are no supplies and everyone's at the same rank (presumably same equipment modifications, skill level and so on) there a Shaft, though effective, wouldn't cause the enemy as much harm as would a Smoky, per se. As the Shaft user isn't supposed to obtain an attacking position rendering it unpractical, same goes for capturing flags. And thus in this imaginary battle, the Smoky's score would eventually surpass that of Shaft's. The things that I've mentioned weren't written to 'profit' anyone. If you take another read at the content of my reply, you'd further understand what I said. Here's a comprehensive "in-a-nutshell" version of it. "Some players can gain more experience points per hour than others. And often that has to do with their equipment." -

How much EXP you earn per hour is relevant to how active you are in battle. For example, a 15-minute, well-balanced game comes to an end. And outcomes the scoreboard showing first - second - third - etc. The player in the first place gained more EXP than everyone else in his/ her team even though they all had the same time to play. Basically, what I'm trying to say is; some tankers can gain far more EXP per hour than others may, meaning they're more active in the battle, and it often has something to do with their equipment. And in this case, Shaft may present a great DL for its user, it's not always the fastest way to gain EXP.
