I didn't get any error so far but the average waiting time for battle is longer for me as well. You can report the errors you get in Bugs and Glitches Reports.

Hornet itself became very weak after it got nerfed, so most of the combos that include Hornet are weak. The funny thing is, Hornet and Ricochet used to be my main combo in MM back in the day when Hornet's OD was overpowered. Now I use Ricochet with Hopper/Viking
