I really don't understand what's so funny but yea, I wasn't 100% sure this is the correct answer.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with this. "we have decided to cancel the results of the first day. Only the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days will be counted for the final results."

How to fix the "infinite loading" bug

Hi everyone, I'm sure almost everyone has experienced this bug at some point, but for those of you who haven't, here is a quick explanation; Your game loads forever when you are trying to enter to a map or to the game itself. The normal solutions (clearing cache, re-installing the client etc..) do not work at all. But a few weeks ago I found a solution which worked for me and for my friends every single time. Here is a quick and easy way to solve it: All you need to do is to open the game, while it's still loading, ask one of your friends to invite you to some random map, accept the invite and that's it*! *This bug usually happens when you are trying to enter a map but the map is bugged, the bug will occur again if you will enter the same map. * This is not an official solution from the developers, just a way I found out about coincidentally I hope my solution will help you out, I will add pictures a bit later to make the solution as clear as possible.

In my opinion you are right, which is why you should focus on fully upgrading 1 or 2 combos first and only once you are done with upgrading those, you can move on to the next combo.

That's because they didn't enter the game ever since the update, which is why their profiles are outdated.

You can't see such info in ratings. However, you can check when one of your friends entered for the last time in your friends list; The date on the right is the date the player has entered for the last time.
