  1. eSports tournaments during the past three years
  2. I do think you make a good point, although I’ve seen many of these so-called “main tryhards” using this augment. I suppose a tryhard is someone who puts way too much effort into winning or being the best, often in situations where others are just having fun. So in MM, a tryhard would be someone who tries to finish games as fast as possible while earning as many battle points as they can. The main counters to this augment are Defender (which prevents medium hulls from being one-shotted) or Shaft protection. If you get onto a map where enemies have no more than two Shaft protections (which happens often), you can make the most out of this augment. Most augments work similarly, even Smoky’s Camper or Railgun’s Excalibur Rounds become much less effective when facing too many protections against them. In short, yes this augment is harder to use than the average augment which is something I like and hope to see being implemented into other augments. The main points I don't agree with are that tryhards don't use this augment because I've encountered many of them and that it's 'that hard to use' as Hypersomnia described it to be. Different experiences I guess, I see at least one every other match. XP/BP is a mode where players use Railgun exclusively (It was renamed to Railgun Master for a reason). In eSports, Shaft becomes part of the meta every now and then, long after I stopped playing competitively. I've never liked Shaft and got less than a 100 hours played with the turret in over 12 years of playing, so may god forbid a tanker from not considering themselves good with a turret he dislikes. Anyway, the screenshot was just an example of how even a “bad” Shaft player like myself can make the most of the augment. Thanks for the cookie, but I’ve got mine right here. I never called you a noob, nor did I ever say that a casual player can’t make good points about the game - it’s just that you, in particular, don’t.
  3. Yes they do, I don't know where you're pulling these 'stats' from. The augment is nice and I do like the idea you must have good aim with Shaft in order to maximize the potential of the augment yet it isn't that hard to play with. I don't consider myself a good Shaft player but getting good results in MM using this augment is quite easy like the one below: The augment needs a serious nerf, pretty hard and annoying to play against. Kind of fun to play with though I can't lie.
  4. Yes, you wouldn't be able to play at a competitive level even now so you're definitely a casual player. Nothing wrong with being a casual but you can't hype yourself up without anything to back it up. This isn't what you said, but oh well. You were the one saying "I must be just built different" - Mouse is easier with Hovering hulls than Tracked hulls especially movement wise.
  5. As long as you don't play competitive eSports or XP/BP, finishing in 1st place using mouse controls isn't a flex. Is everyone with us here? I use mouse controls for tracked hulls and so do most people nowadays. By the way, using keyboard for MM would not make any difference. Yet again, you’re not addressing my point. You claimed to have seen no one complaining about mouse controls in XP/BP, to which I responded that you can ask around and see how many times players have complained about it. Even if a complaint wasn’t made on this forum, that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Aren't you a casual player?
  6. Feel free to check recent eSports livestreams on Twitch and check how Titan is used. TankiSport_EN TankiSport_EN_2 You said yourself that you used mouse for a single match and ‘washed’ everyone, yet when I actually saw you play, suddenly there were excuses about why you couldn’t perform properly We were talking about mouse controls, which you yourself called ‘legal hacks,’ your words, not mine. I have, you can ask around and see for yourself. While the level of eSports is nearly as high and skillful as it was back in the day, most of these players can perform in MM at a much higher level than the average casual player. I’m all for valid criticism, but yours isn’t valid in this case.
  7. But that has nothing to do with them being tracked, it’s simply how overdrives work. Mammoth is actually quite useful against miners. I often find myself using it when my team can’t steal the enemy flag due to the sheer amount of mines in their base. Titan forces the enemy team to waste their utilities, whether it’s grenades, overdrives, or something else. It’s also part of the current eSports meta thanks to the smart plays it enables. That said, even with Armadillo, certain augments combined with the Supercharge status effect can still kill you instantly (e.g. Vulcan, Twins with Plasma Turbo Accelerators, etc.). You’ve complained about three tracked hulls, but all of your points are based on the fact that they don’t directly provide “easy” kills. Their true intent is to support your team. Tracked hulls may require a bit more thought, but they can still be very useful. It’s a nerf to hovering hulls, so I don’t see how that can be considered a valid point. No offense, but I played against you the other day and noticed you were missing quite a lot of shots. Doesn’t really add up with the “legal hack” you mentioned. Everyone has complained about mouse users in XP/BP, where players must use Wasp and Hornet.
  8. Hovering hulls are better due to their ability to move sideways, making them harder targets to hit. Hitting shots using hovering hulls had never been an issue to anyone who had played mouse for more than a few months. The current change is going to make Hovering hulls much harder to play with any turret that cannot balance the tank (Firebird, Freeze, etc..) That I can definitely agree with. Even if we don’t get the old Flash UI back (which I really miss), I think a more army-like design would suit Tanki much better.
  9. You linked your original post, not sure what's new in there(?)

    War 2025

This kind of behavior is definitely not something we’d expect from anyone, let alone a well-known YouTuber. While his actions have caused issues for many, I still ask that anyone commenting here voice their criticism respectfully and in line with the Game Rules.

  12. I’d assume all of these players voted at the same time. It’s a smart strategy, the idea is to vote as late as possible to make the most of the stars your team has earned.

    Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Bydo! I wish you nothing but happiness and lots of good times ahead. May this year bring you success, good health, and plenty of moments to enjoy with friends and family. Here’s to many more great memories both in and outside the game! ?
  14. They are, I am in particular. As I said I mentioned you may either use this topic or send me a Forum PM.
  15. You are right, but it was created specifically by the previous CM who intended to collect feedback from players. You may use this topic the way the Complaints Book was used. You’re always welcome to send me a Forum PM if there’s something you’d like me to pass on but prefer to keep private.
  16. The issue has already been reported, I will let you know once I get any news. Keep in mind this is the weekend so it's unlikely to get any fix today.
  17. I agree with these solutions you suggested. Quite the opposite. I simply said that players can (and should) adjust their game settings to their liking in order to have the best experience possible. You brought up a completely different point about the Paladin situation. I’m not saying you don’t make valid points, you do, but this one just isn’t one of them. I understand, I will forward your feedback. Sure, it isn’t easy, but it’s not impossible either. Many times I’ve seen players with weaker equipment and worse augments on paper achieve better results than those using “OP” gear. Not always, even with strong augments you’ll lose sometimes. Protections, maps, modes, and other factors always play a role. Sure, doing your best won’t always be enough, but it’s always worth giving it a shot. There’s no such thing as perfect - not just in games, but in life too. I’m being serious. Augments aren’t just going to disappear one day, surely not. But can something be done to improve the current situation? I believe so.
  18. Maybe it’s not something that can be easily fixed, I’m not a developer, like I mentioned earlier. But just because it isn’t solved on the spot doesn’t mean it’s not being looked into. You’re taking my point out of context. What I meant is that anyone can complain and call it a day. But in my opinion, offering a solution or at least something to work with shows maturity and makes the discussion worth continuing. That’s exactly why I said earlier, “Complaining is easy, actually trying to address an issue with a solution isn’t.” Yet again, you’re taking my point out of context. I was talking about the in-game settings, explaining that they exist so players can adjust the game to their liking. For some reason, you replied with a completely different point, though I’m still happy to respond. It’s true that players who spend money will have an advantage over those who don’t, but the current situation is much better than it used to be. The meta changes over time, and to give an example; right now Uranium is one of the strongest augments in the game, and it was purchasable with Crystals for many years. Even now it isn’t hard to obtain, and I know plenty of players who got it randomly. And while the current best augments can be tough to deal with, they can be countered. It’s not always easy, but if you play smart you can definitely make the best out of the situation. If you’d like to engage in a civil discussion, please reply to the points I actually make instead of taking them out of context. I don’t “defend” anyone, I simply voice my opinion. There are things I believe should be changed and areas where the developers can improve. No game is perfect, and Tanki is no exception. You’re suggesting changes that can’t be implemented. The game can’t remove a feature that’s been part of the game for a long time. You’re always welcome to share ideas, but they need to be reasonable and feasible.
  19. Neither do I, but that doesn’t stop me or anyone else from suggesting a solution to an issue you brought up yourself. Complaining is easy, actually trying to address an issue with a solution isn’t. Have a lovely night!
  20. They pretty much behave like the average player Just joking, I am sure improvements to bots will be implemented later on. Excuse me, but settings exist in every game so players can adjust the experience to their own liking. The “perfect” settings don’t exist, because every player has different preferences. If the developers forced one setup on everyone, a lot more people would actually be unhappy. 1. Here you are, complaining. 2. Many players still voice their opinions whether in chats, on the forum, or across social media. I agree, the list of augments is very confusing especially for new players. How do you suggest improving the situation?
  21. My team collects feedback and passes it on to the higher-ups, so asking for feedback on your own questions doesn’t really make sense but I’m happy to share my thoughts on them with you. Just keep in mind I’m not a developer, so I won’t always have all the answers. 2. All turrets in the game are capable of dealing critical damage, Armadillo provides resistance against this type of damage. While it doesn’t make you fully resistant to every turret, it does reduce the impact of a specific aspect of their damage. 4. It’s definitely an interesting topic to discuss, and I agree that too many things interfere with each other. I like that you can cancel Wasp’s OD with the overdrives of Mammoth or Hunter, but I don’t like how almost every overdrive can be canceled, even right after being fully activated, by a stun. 6. Bots are being worked on and improved from what I know but honestly, players first need to learn not to keep bumping into each other. 7. You can minimize the battle interface size to 75% to avoid this issue from bothering you, although it had never been an issue for me nor I heard anyone else complain about it. 8. There are many augments which are no longer useful in MM yet they serve different purposes such as for Parkour tricks or private battles. 9. In the current era of the game, clans are more of a social feature (not to be confused with eSports clans). Players enjoy coming together and being part of the same group. On top of that, there’s the aesthetic appeal of having a clan tag next to your nickname, many players (myself included) feel that the right tag makes your nickname look even cooler. 10. The game has several departments, each focusing on different aspects. The team that develops skins is separate from the one that handles game balance. That’s my two cents on your post. I’ll make sure to pass your questions along to the higher-ups. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
