Contacting the tech support can do no harm. He can contact them while waiting for his weekly containers to come back (if we assume what you said is true), If he gets his weekly containers back suddenly he can notify the tech support about it.

Weekly containers contain the same items ( supplies, crystals and tankoins). If he claims the crystals amount and supplies didn't increase then surely something is not right here.

That's right, you need 3,000 stars to finish the challenge. However, stars were added to daily & weekly missions in order to make it easier to complete.

This is a new status effect called "armor-piercing". There is some info regarding this new status effect in this topic, but hopefully we will receive a more detailed explanation soon.
